I ordered a Chipotle chicken egg & avocado sandwich (added arugula greens but there wasn't any) and this is what it looked like. My sandwich bread was beyond soggy and drenched in sauce. I was getting on the highway because I had to head to work. I looked forward to eating my breakfast sandwich (it's a favorite of mine) but I could barely stomach it. I have been coming to this location for about 10 years now. From going to Panera early in the morning with my mum to now getting breakfast at least once a week or more. I have noticed they are getting stingy with the bacon, on a normal sandwich with bacon it is three pieces, but don't be fooled.... it's one piece cut in half and than an extra half. I get the same sandwich every single time and since about a year ago i've noticed they put less and less bacon every time and if you ask for extra you get two tiny extra pieces which actually makes it look like a normal proportional sandwich but u have to pay for extra bacon. This use to be my favorite place to go for breakfast but I've been having to go back every time to ask more than two pieces of bacon. If I wanted an egg sandwich i'd ask for it. So sad that this location isn't trying as hard as they use to. read more

So the Mediterranean veggie sandwich was a major letdown. It had about zero sauce that I requested. The bread was super dried out. It had minimal ingredients. I'm really disappointed. I went for begals and breakfast, this morning. A beautiful day. I also ordered espresso and coffee, along with a banana when I got there. They have really good bananas. The woman making by drink was super friendly and great. The woman that made my food was so sweet, and makes breakfast sandwiches like a boss! The spinach avocado on begal was sooo stinking good!! My boyfriend loved the bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago. I will definitely be going here for breakfast more often! read more

Here is our drive thru experience from tonight 9/30/20 "Welcome to uh... *pause* um... Saint... Louis bread company..." First of all do you know where you work? Lol I then proceeded to place my order. Chicken frontera Panini w/ chips & a Pepsi and a green passion smoothie (this is for 2 people) They repeat is back incorrectly. So we correct them... and they say "oh okay got it" We get to the window, first they hand us a Diet Pepsi, so we correct them again... normal Pepsi please. ‍ Then we get this smoothie... for 4.99 I would expect the small size cup to be filled up completely. However there was almost 1/4 missing from the cup. This was going to be my meal for the evening and I was sadly disappointed. So we get home and my husband takes a sip of his "pepsi" and it is indeed Diet Pepsi. *sigh* *smh* ‍ Bread co please step it up. My experience is that food and bakery items are good. It's nothing special, but the quality is what you expect. We are semi-regular customers for the past several years. At this location though, you really need to eat in. We have found for pick up orders and the drive through, they will mess up our order about half the time. After constant frustration, we don't even consider those options. I don't know if it's lack of supervision, lack of training, deaf ears, or a "give a care" factor, the drive through and order pick up service leaves much to be desired. read more

I wrote a review 2 yrs ago saying how awful this location was and have since been visiting the Lake St Louis location since, but this morning I had an errand to run near the Wentzville location and thought surely it would've improved by now. Wrong. Placed a "rapid pick up" order when leaving my errand, and arrived at Panera about 5 min past the order ready time. No signs anywhere to tell you where to pull up, but I checked in as I pulled in the parking lot and decided to pull up in the spots that used to be marked for rapid pick up years past. No signs there so I called inside the store twice and got no answer. Approximately 8-10 minutes go by and I decide to look around the rest of the parking lot to see signs lying on their side in the grass in a different section of the lot so I waited a few minutes only to have to finally go sit in the drive thru line to be told I could sit in the drive thru and it would be given to me at the window. So, my rapid pick up order took me approximately 18 minutes. When I spoke to the manager at the window she didn't seem to care and had the excuse that it was windy last night and the signs blew over and they didn't have time to pick them up. Hello, it's 9am.... Pick them up before you open! I asked for a refund because of course 18 min after my food was to be ready it was no longer hot. Had to ask though, no offer.
