Ugh. I wrote a review 2 yrs ago saying how awful this location was and have since been visiting the Lake St Louis location since, but this morning I had an errand to run near the Wentzville location and thought surely it would've improved by now. Wrong. Placed a "rapid pick up" order when leaving my errand, and arrived at Panera about 5 min past the order ready time. No signs anywhere to tell you where to pull up, but I checked in as I pulled in the parking lot and decided to pull up in the spots that used to be marked for rapid pick up years past. No signs there so I called inside the store twice and got no answer. Approximately 8-10 minutes go by and I decide to look around the rest of the parking lot to see signs lying on their side in the grass in a different section of the lot so I waited a few minutes only to have to finally go sit in the drive thru line to be told I could sit in the drive thru and it would be given to me at the window. So, my rapid pick up order took me approximately 18 minutes. When I spoke to the manager at the window she didn't seem to care and had the excuse that it was windy last night and the signs blew over and they didn't have time to pick them up. Hello, it's 9am.... Pick them up before you open! I asked for a refund because of course 18 min after my food was to be ready it was no longer hot. Had to ask though, no offer. This place is always run down and dirty looking, the electronic sign at the drive through has been broken for at least 2 years so no way to view your own order for accuracy. What goes on here? Bathrooms are not the cleanest. Last time I was here they forgot the meat on my sandwich. This time they are out of baguettes. Bread co is out of bread. Staff is nice but ... this is probably the lowest quality of the Panera/bread co locations. read more

The drive thru at this location is now 1 for 8 at getting a two salad order correct. As a heads-up, make sure your salad has the chicken on it. We typically tear into the order before we pull away, recommend you do the same. Really enjoy the food, but looks as if this location doesn't have what it takes to get orders right. read more

Horrible experience. Had a reward, which wasn't coming off the total when checking out at the kiosk. An employee asked if anything was wrong, and we told her what the issue was. Her response? Absolutely none. She did not try to assist us at all or engage us at all. Our salads came in two tiny containers. It may have added up to 2/3 or 3/4 of a full salad. After years of them screwing up my orders, missing items, overcharged, I'm finally boycotting this place. I ordered $30 worth of food and never received it. When I called an employee was rude and dismissive, and said I'm going to let you talk to the manager because I'm not dealing with this. Manager got on the phone and said they would not send out my food again, I have to call doordash and figure out where it's at. Absolutely no help. Awful customer service. Always out of begets and bread bowls!!! They say they donate them, how about you keep them around until close so you can sell them! Orders are NEVER correct and when you ask if you can sub something for something they don't have, they always forget it in the bag. This was the 4th and LAST time I will visit this location. Love me some French Onion soup in the yummy bread bowl. The service was quick but the wrong order was mistakenly given to us, so they let us keep it and brought us our correct order within minutes and even threw in a couple of delish chocolate chip cookies for our wait. That is great customer service and they are keeping us as regulars!! read more

I have eaten at this location many, many times. I like St. Louis Breadco's food and high quality. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this one. They are so inconsistent in the drive through. Sometimes my salad fills the to go container and is worth the high price. Sometimes it is only half full. I really enjoy the Frontega Chicken sandwich. I drove 15 minutes home and it had no chicken on it. Tonight, I ordered two halves. One was a normal size, the other was much smaller and had one tiny bite of chicken on it. I found a sticker off some produce IN grain bowl, there was a hair in my boyfriends soup AND the rice was incredibly hard. I was first taken back by the fact that my rice was not done at all, it was hard and then I came across the sticker and was very disappointed. THEN we saw the hair in the food. I'm not trying to complain at all, and I usually don't do these, but my meal was honestly a big disappointment and I couldn't finish it at all. We were driving thru headed to Fulton and I got hungry so we stopped because it had a drive thru... as soon as we stopped our little ones started crying needing a bottle with warm milk... the lady at Panera was great she made was a warm milk as well as a cold to balance things out! I absolutely love bread co. It seems to be the ultimate comfort food. The staff is always going the extra mile to make sure that the experience is good. They are quick at taking your order and helpful giving suggestions on what to get. I absolutely love that they list calorie counts for the meal! this is one of the most 2 faced bread companies i have ever been to. they look nice and good quality but my order was so trashy and ghetto. if you want a good smoothie that is filled up don't go here! me, my cuh, and our grandparents pull up in the drive thru having a good day until when our smoothies come out looking astronomically disgusting. they were WAY too liquidity to the point where it felt like i was drinking water with tiny poop particles in it. they were filled about 3/4th if the way and it made me furious. it ruined the fams whole day and we went home to cry abt wasting our money on it bc we are poor from spending our money of diapers for my bathroom problems. i will never be coming again. read more

My wife went to this location the other night to pick up a turkey sandwich for my granddaughter. And was trying to get a baguette. There was not any baguettes. This should be a staple at any location. The sandwich for my granddaughter was unbeatable. Did not look like a deli turkey sandwich. My wife came back home completely frustrated. The service was slow and unacceptable. My Granddaughter, who has had many turkey sandwiches from Bread Co in the past, was in tears after looking and tasting the sandwich. UNACCEPTABLE. I'm a fan of StlBreadCo, but my experience at this particular store has been consistently bad. First I'll say something nice: Most of the people that work there seem friendly. Now for the bad: My drive-through orders have almost never been right, usually with getting the wrong food, being shorted, or getting bad food (often a combination of all three). The inside dining area is dated and dingy; not really dirty, but not really clean either. Today was the last straw - our food came out with some kind of bug on it. If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I have come here for as l can remember and I have not had a problem till today and I don't think I will be back to this specific location. I came to study and get some food. I ordered and the lady was very nice about it. It was about 30 minuets till I got my food and there was not many people here so it was not a busy time. When I did receive my food It was freezing cold. So I politely went back up and asked if they would heat it up since I got it cold. The lady said sure but then was talking to her fellow associates and they were saying rude things about me. It was the worst restraint experience I have had. And I will not be back. read more

I love Bread Co, and frequent this location because it's close to home. It's a nice change of pace when you don't want greasy fast food. My husband and I went through the drive through at 8:50pm tonight. They closed at 9:30. We had a long day and wanted to grab a bite to eat before we headed home. So of course we picked Bread Co. We've never had bad service, but tonight we did. The young lady that took our order in the drive thru was completely rude and acted like we were a burden. When we pulled up to the window, she let us know it would take a minute on the Mac n cheese because they didn't have any prepared. That's fine we like our Mac n cheese fresh anyways. It's my favorite thing to get. We ordered two large Mac n cheeses and received the smallest cup I've ever seen. We also each ordered a salad, mine was fine but my husbands was not. He ordered a seasonal greens with no tomato, and there were tomatoes on it, in addition, the salad wasn't even halfway full in the bowl AND the Italian dressing was not even halfway full in the cup. He mentioned afterwards it didn't taste right. Never in my life have I had such a poor experience at Bread Co. I am so irritated and disappointed. read more

I very much wish I could give a zero-star rating to this place. I frequently go to this location as it is right next to my house, I love Panera, and it's a good place to study. However, I am going elsewhere from now on. I came up with a couple of friends to get some dinner, study, and hangout before finals week. One friend comes later, at a time that is not busy AT ALL, and orders possibly the easiest thing they can make; mac n cheese. It's a bag that they microwave. However, my friend received her dish and it was freezing cold. She had me try it because she felt bad. I ended up taking the initiative, because my friend was scared, and I went up to ask the cashier about asking the line to reheat it. I told her how it was really cold. Upon walking up to the back, I was met with the cashier and the manager talking about me, saying rude things, behind my back. This was awful. Then, the cashier proceeded to walk to the front and instead of work or just get over it, she begins talking to another associate on break about me. I have never been stared at and ridiculed so much for asking something of a RESTAURANT that should be COMMON sense. We love their baked potato soup and I just found out my daughter's been paying $14.99 for a carton of it. I couldn't believe it ! We have ordered twice now, the Frontega Chicken sandwhich and to get home and have about in total, 2tbsp of chicken slathered over the hard stale bread and smothered with 2 huge pieces of tomatoes, lettuce, way too many onion slices and some kind of sauce that overpowers the little bit of chicken that is on there. I had to pull the bread apart and dig through the ingredients to even see where the chicken was, if it really even was on this sandwhich ! Now my daughter called and spoke with the manager and he assured her he would make it right and that when she came back, they would get it right ! Well, she went back and got home to the same exact thing ! I had to remove the bread, 2 tomatoes, 2 pieces of lettuce, and 3 slices of onions to find the chicken which was crumbs and it looked like chicken salad........Also, does'nt matter ever if they offer or we ask for butter, becuz they NEVER put it in there ! Bread Company ought to be ashamed of theirselves for ripping off their customers with these outrageous prices.........for this sandwhich is $8 or $9 for this crap and don't go there with the price of the soup, ridiculous. how do you expect a family to eat there. probably cheaper going to Red Lobster or somewhere NICE ! 10/27/2017 This place is awful!!!!!! We sat in line for half an hour at drive thru. We pulled up and they said the headsets were dead!! Nobody looked....then we tried to order and they said since it didn't come through the headset (which are dead) we need to write our order down on scratch paper and take it in through the front door. LOL! Then they didn't even want us to order so they didn't have to write down the order for us. Then after it's been 45 minutes they're out of bread bowls and 2 of the other things we wanted. Then they forgot our soup. The food was thrown together very poorly and tasted awful!!! read more

We stopped in on a Sunday at 1pm and the parking lot was nearly full. We walked in and within 10 min placed our order to a very pleasant young lady. Our food was ready within 10 min and prepared just as we ordered it. The food was delicious and we treated ourselves to an orange scone when we were done. I was so excited to go and try the new sandwich I kept seeing advertised on TV, the chicken chipolte guacamole cheese melt. I don't usually pay that much for a sandwich but it sounds so good and I had a few extra bucks to treat myself. So I rush over on my lunch hour and order one, get back to work just in time to enjoy it, until I opened the wrapper, there laid a sandwich which looked literally thrown together wrapped and thrown in the bag. First, the cheese was no wear near melted, chicken was spare and no avacado in sight but there was a piece if tomato hanging off the side. I was so disappointed and expect more out of a $8 sandwich. Tired of wasting my money, I called the restaurant and asked for the manager, explained the situation, he was very aplogetic and said he would send a couple of vouchers for free food for my trouble. I gave him my information, and by the end if the conversation I felt much better. However it has been 2 months and I have yet to get even a postcard saying SORRY. So if the manager acts like this, no wonder the workers don't care what your sandwich look like either. Will not be going back to that location.
