I have been dining at Panini Kabob Grill for years (at different locations). Today we ordered the family platter. This platter usually comes with 3 chicken kabobs. We substituted one chicken kabob for a koobideh skewer. It comes with two different salads. It was delicious. The service was not great but adequate. My mom wouldn't stop yapping about this place, so we finally checked it out--and there were absolutely no regrets. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was fun and welcoming. The indoor space isn't huge, but there's plenty of outdoor seating, which adds a really nice touch. We started with the hummus trio, and it slapped. There were five of us, and the portions were generous enough for everyone to dig in. I went with the PKG Combo Kabob, which comes with both chicken and beef kabobs. The portions were massive, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. The service was just as impressive. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and attentive. We were very disappointed we went to this location for the first time. Panini Grill is one of her favorite places to go to in Orange County and when we sat down, they gave us water like 15 minutes later and we asked for it a few times from other waitresses and none of them got it for us like it had to be our waitress that had to bring us the water and unfortunately, she took a very long time while the weather was 85° outside. Our food was also undercooked honestly, I don't recommend this location please go to a better location. read more

Ordered tonight and had a few hiccups. I ordered the kebab plate and my husband picked it up but they forgot the salad. I called, they offered a refund but I really wanted some salad so my husband drove back(25 minutes round trip) to get it. I feel they should have offered something for the extra time and miles, but no. Dessert maybe? Then when I finally warmed up the steak and brown rice, the rice was not cooked all the way, what!!! All in all, it was a great choice for Easter. Ordering online was a cinch, and it just got better from there. We walked in to pick up our order, and the quaint restaurant was packed with families celebrating Easter Sunday together. Good thing they have comfortable-looking outdoor seating! We ordered/paid online, but when picking up, they opened up the bags to confirm our order & asked us if we needed anything else. Nice job - that's how you do it! I hate getting home only to realize I'm missing something. Once home, the food smelled great & the presentation was neat & tidy. We got the family meals & subbed 1 chicken kabob for 2 koobideh kabobs. The Caesar salad was perfect, the rice & kabobs were delicious, & the tzatziki sauce was yummy. The only bad thing is we could've eaten MORE! This is something we'll keep in our back pocket, so next time we want something yummy, we're getting Panini Kabob. Tables who sat down nearly 40 minutes after mine received their food all at the same time. I let our waiter know our food took almost an hour and the manager did nothing to make it right. PKG Brea is one of our regular dinner takeout and larger group catering spots in north OC. The charbroiled chicken kabobs are mouthwateringly good each and every time we order them. Charred yet somehow still moist. Complements well with the Mediterranean salad and long grain rice too. We also like the beef koobideh (with tzatziki) and steak kabobs as well. Having tried several of the PKG locations- Brea is the best for us. Only downside is the limited seating and parking in the business plaza can get a bit crazy on busy nights here. read more

The food is great. One of the most famous dishes is the CHARBROILED CHICKEN SHISH KABOB delicious! Coffee is not that great but the mean dishes are. Service is good. The layout and space is cozy and intimate although I did know like that the tables are too close to each other. I did like the decor and space feeling. read more

I could tell they were very busy with takeout orders since it was Thanksgiving and yet we were seated and taken care of very quickly! I LOVE Panini Kabob Grill. Of all the locations I have ever visited, this is perhaps the smallest location yet it was just as busy as several of the larger locations. The vibe here was very relaxed despite people walking in and out of the location. Be prepared to wait whether you plan to dine-in or pick up a take-out order. This is what happens when you offer customers fresh, tasty and DELICIOUS Mediterranean food. Parking here can definitely be a challenge as there are other several popular and well known restaurants within feet of one another such as Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ and Buca di Peppo Italian restaurant. The star of this restaurant is of course, the food which is the sole reason this and all the other locations are so popular. My favorite item on the menu is the chicken kabob w/basmati rice plate. The appearance of your food resting in front of you in itself, leaves you feeling like a kid in a candy store which is pure anticipation and excitement. Amir is a fucking idiot. What kind of fucking manager cannot make a simple request to change a meat because of an honest order mistake. Giving me some bs about inventory and how they can't accommodate the smallest change to an order despite my repeated requests with plenty of time left. We always look forward to enjoying a meal at Panini Kabob Grill. We went on Sunday afternoon and were seating fairly quickly out on the patio. It was a nice cool day so they had the heaters on. Our server was very friendly and service was great. The inside of the restaurant seemed busy, ambiance was nice. There was a large party out on the patio that seemed to be enjoying their meal as well. The food was delicious. Started off with the hummus trio (we always double up on the red pepper hummus). For our entrees, we got the chicken caesar wrap and chicken kabob plate with caesar salad and basmati rice plus strawberry lemonades. Was looking for somewhere to eat today, was not feeling too good today. So needed something healthy and delicious to eat, came across this place pretty close by. We were greeted so nicely by the host girl out front she was so sweet. Then our server Lori she was absolutely amazing super sweet and so easy to talk to we got along right away lol! Thank you for amazing service Lori, she checked on us and brought out our food quickly. Came and chatted with me for a bit too, we talked for a bit she was funny too. Thank you 5 star service. Really cute inside but didn't take any photos, we sat outside to enjoy the fresh beautiful air today! What a lovely sitting area too they even have heating lamps if it's cold out. Loved it! I was seated immediately upon my arrival and chose the patio seating over the indoor dining room. I ordered the Green Lentil soup as my appetizer and it was served in a timely manner. The soup itself was flavorful but it wasn't great and I would rate it 3 out of 5. The Salmon Kabob as my main entry wasn't much better either. While the salmon was nice and hot it literally lacked flavor imho. The basmati rice was served cold and it was just okay. The best part of the dish was the Greek side salad which was excellent. Overall this dish is huge and enough for two but I would probably not order it again. Love love love PKG since back when I was working out in the Valley. Was so excited to have close to home. Located in Brea, just before the freeway in the Total Wine plaza. Parking can be rough and there usually is a good wait if you go during peak times but always worth the wait! This location a slightly smaller than the others but has indoor and outdoor seating. Servers are super helpful. Food is consistent. Our favs are the ground beef kabob and the steak kabob entrees. The rice is addictive and the caesar salad is decent. read more

I arrived at the restaurant at 7:59 and my order was already sitting there bagged. She said it was ready in 10 minutes when I was told 30. I had ordered the family meal with a side of pita bread. The bread was hard as a rock, none of us ate it. The rice was half soft, half stale/hard. The salad had too much water inside the packaging, so it made the little bit of dressing they give really watery and the salad was a complete waste. NONE OF US ATE IT! Lastly, they give you so many vegetables on the chicken kabobs that they look full, but the actual pieces of chicken are much smaller, squished between giant pieces of tomato. Why would I want 9 huge pieces of tomato with teeny tiny pieces of chicken in between!? I also asked for utensils and was not given any. I prob won't be back. There are better Mediterranean options in the area, don't waste your money! For the price of your food you guys really need to GET IT TOGETHER. read more
