Great service, friendly environment and delicious food, what more can you ask for? We got the falafel platter appetizer, solid first course and definitely shareable with 4+ people. The pesto was preferred over the Bolognese. The Mediterranean salad was tastier than the Caesar. The meat lovers is a good option if you're indecisive. This place can accommodate a large party (6+) but it may be a bit snug. Parking can be tough since it's a popular plaza.

Fresh, high-quality Mediterranean food with generous portions! Doesn't feel like it is a chain at all, as each dish tastes made with care and good ingredients!

My family liked this place, so we decided to give it a try. We sat outdoors to sit with a dog (they're dog friendly for patio) and we were handed menus right away. After a bit of time, we ordered with a server that was very friendly. Our hummus trio came out first after our drinks and it was pretty good. Best out of the trio has to be the red pepper hummus for sure. We also ordered a side of cucumbers to eat with the hummus which was good too. I will say the lemonade and the arnold palmer was quite subpar because I was expecting nice freshly squeezed lemonade flavor, but it didn't really taste what I was expecting. Our mains came out after a bit and we each got a plate with different meat selections. One with chicken, beef, and lamb. They were all pretty good and I really enjoyed the roasted veggies paired with the meat and the basmati rice. One plate was a huge portion that I could probably get another meat out of it. Overall had a good experience and would come back!

I went with family at noon on a weekend, and the wait was thankfully only a few minutes given that this is a small restaurant. We decided to share both the charbroiled chicken shish kabob ($19.99) and the fresh Atlantic salmon kabob ($22.99). Each kabob entree comes with salad and rice. We chose a variety: romaine avocado salad, Mediterranean Greek salad, basmati rice, and bulgur pilaf (a nutty cracked wheat simmered usually with tomato paste). The salmon was my favorite kabob because it was juicy and flavorful. However, we only got five chunks, which is unfortunately not a good portion size for a dish costing more than $20. The chicken had a great smoky flavor with some char, but the meat didn't feel as tender as I hoped. We decided to try bulgur pilaf for the first time, and it tasted better than the basmati rice because it was simmered in a tomatoey broth. Service was good, and there was a moderate amount of waiting for food. Our server refilled waters and was friendly with other customers. Looking back, we thought that both kabobs didn't have much meat because the entree includes a salad. Perhaps other Mediterranean restaurants have similar portion sizes, but I slightly hesitate to come back here due to the amount of salmon and chicken we received.

Coming from a restaurant background. I see, hear, and understand more going on/or pay attention to, things most people aren't aware of necessarily. Like when the host calls your name then says Joe instead of jon, then sits that party. Also when they call Joe/jon again and Joe shows up and gets seated. Then when host/server/food runner, goes I think we sat a random person for Joe and then sat Joe for jon. Then looks at me like "oh crap" then goes inside never to be seen again. Logically there could be joes and jon's that come in multiples it's a common name. Around 4pm was a shift change for a lot of people. New hostess, and manager appears i approach and say hey we've been here about 30 mins and I think they sat 2-3 parties in front of us. They look at the waiting list there's no one on the waiting list and they called jon 20 mins ago. If you ask for a number what good is it if all it does is say you are on a waiting list. So I told them about what happened, manager was nice enough to sit us right away. He brought us waters and apologized. Cool. Server was an older Hispanic man, was polite but forgot a few things, didn't take away plates etc. Food 5/5 very good portions for price for a "family meal" Staff 2/5 service 2/5. I rarely rate places low and I am really forgiving. My wife wanted to leave, most people would have, but our first experience at another panini kabob had me stay. My wife also is a veteran, she brought out her card and asked if they do a military discount. Server said yes, came back a couple minutes later, and said because of what we ordered we could not be granted a discount. But if we were to have ordered separate individual plates we can use it. Most military discounts are 10-20% if generous. After the experience we had, as a manager I'm going to give the discount because of everything that has happened you're losing what $6 out of $60 dinner. We paid gave a15% tip and went on our way. In this business. If the same place can't wow you or be up to par for 3 visits in a row. Most people won't come back.

My favorite salad! The portion is so massive I wish they offered half sizes. The tuna is yummy but the star is the dressing. So happy to have this option on the menu... Hope they keep it!! Such a good option.

Flat Iron Steak Shish Kabob with Romaine Avocado Salad $23

Came on a Saturday around noon. It's typically pretty difficult to find parking in this plaza due to all the businesses, but there were a good amount of spots open when I arrived. By 12:30/1pm, it was crowded. My friend and I split the flat iron steak kabob entree (cooked medium) and asked for double of the romaine avocado salad (instead of rice). The entree was $23. The steak was tasty, and the salad tasted a little too acidic for me (I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side), but overall, it was a decent meal. I do feel that it was a bit pricey for what we got. The restaurant can get pretty loud, so you may want to sit outside if you're trying to converse with others. I wouldn't particularly recommend this place; however, if others suggested it, I wouldn't object.

I usually love Panini Grill and count on them for consistent food and service, but my first visit to the Brea location today was a total mess. My friend and I had lunch on the patio and waited a solid 30 minutes just to get water. The service was painfully slow and careless; tables around us were left uncleaned, and when our food arrived, we had no utensils. After asking the food runner and waiting around while our meals got cold, my friend finally had to get up and track down silverware herself. When the waiter finally acknowledged us, he literally threw the utensils onto the table. Then, when we asked for extra napkins, he actually put his hand up to block us and just walked away. I was so shocked by the blatant rudeness that I called for the manager. While the manager apologized and gave us a free dessert, a sweet treat doesn't fix a total lack of professionalism. If employees hate being there that much, they shouldn't be working in hospitality! Management is also to blame by keeping them employed. When reading some of the other reviews, seems like service is really lacking here and the waiters have major attitude problems. The food is always great, but this type of behavior and level of disrespect makes me never want to come back. I will take my money elsewhere.

Came here for lunch on a Monday. Clean restaurant. The food was good, but pricey for the amount of meat you get (see picture). My steak kebab plate was $22.99 and there was hardly any meat. Also I asked for well done and one piece of meat was medium. The service was too slow on this particular day. I had to get up and ask for the check. The waitress comes over with a portable card reader. I dislike this way of paying. This restaurant should be order at the counter. My coworker liked her chicken panini and hummus appetizer. I will not return as there's other options that make delicious kabob plates with order at the counter service.

I love this place! The food has been consistently good all the times I have had their food. The flavors are rich, the food is perfectly seasoned, and none of the items I have gotten have come out too oily. The tangier salads all pair beautifully with the slightly heavier protein options. I also love how friendly the service is! The indoor and outdoor seatings are also quite appealing to the eyes. I am a big fan of the more vintage aesthetic of this location. It's perfect for date nights.

I have had food from here several times, and I find it to be average as far as flavor goes. We came here today and did a lunch pick up for an order I'd placed online. Customer service was great. The waitresses and cashier were very pleasant and friendly. The inside is small, and there's also a little patio up front which seems nice. The food itself though is a little lacking in flavor. I ordered spicy hummus which wasn't very tasty or spicy. The tzatziki sauce was also kinda bland and disappointing. We came here because of how close to home it was, it had been a long while since I'd eaten here, and likely won't be back anytime soon.

The restaurant is located on the second level of an Asian strip mall just off the 60 freeway. Parking can be challenging during dinner hours so go early. Service is good and they kept the beers flowing. If you have a larger group, there are a few air conditioned private rooms that are nice and quiet. The staff were nice enough to store a birthday cake in their refrigerator in the back. They give a discount on your birthday but it has to be the exact day

We gave this place a try because it has a lot of great reviews on yelp! We visited on a Sunday…read moreevening and the wait was like about 10-15 minutes. After seated I could feel the heat from the grill next to me. I ordered a few items like Beef, Lamb, Beef tongue skewers, lamp soup, Dan Dan noodles and grilled oysters. We liked that we get it cook it on our own but sometimes I get worried if it's cooked well for eating. The Dan Dan noodle didn't have soup base but it tasted really good! The lamb soup was great too but it was too hot for the weather that day. I was looking forward for my grilled oysters but it was undercooked a little so we asked them to cook a little bit longer for us. Overall, I liked the experience and the price was decent. I wish the AC would be stronger or it was out that day... it was quite hard to enjoy bbq skewers when it's really hot. I think it would come back again when it's less hot!
