I was skeptical this place would be good when I saw they had drive through. but I was so glad to be wrong. the place was pretty big. this felt like fusion Indian food. because it was a new constructed place, it was clean. the server was friendly and nice. menu was quite big. it took us time to figure out what to get. PANI PURI- a playful dish. where u needed to pour their herb water and stuffings into these cute little puffed crackers they provided. tasted refreshing and delish Grilled sandwich: I forgot which one I got but it was yummy and grilled perfectly, Toastada bowl: this one was just ok. nothing special. TIKKA CURRY: good dish with chicken. the flatbread tasted good too will come back to try others.

Maast Indian is my new favorite Indian spot! Their Asian/Mexican fusion creations are crave-worthy and absolutely delicious. So much so that my first and second visits were back to back days!! The restaurant shares the building with Dunkin' Donuts so there are times that you need to watch for caffeine deprived drivers rushing to get to the drive thru lane. But I digress :/ Once you've dodged the donut patrons and step into Maast, you're greeted by the sweetest, most welcoming people. On my first visit, Lorena was very patient and kind as she explained how their fusion menu works. Here are the things I've tried so far and my thoughts on each: 1) Burrito: got it with chicken prepared with korma sauce. Such a great fusion of Indian & Mexican food. The burrito was generously filled, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce was delicious! 5/5 2) Parthadilla: got it with chicken and malai sauce. More like a taco in concept than a quesadilla. Messy to eat because the filling was spilling out. Also generously filled and the malai sauce is now my FAVORITE!! For the presentation (spilling) 4/5. For the taste 6/5 3) Munchwrap: just as the play on words suggest, this is their interpretation of a Crunchwrap. Got it with chicken and malai sauce. Filled with all kinds of goodness, including crunchy tots! 5/5 4) Sandwich: toasted white bread and a great breakfast sandwich when I ordered it with the masala eggs. Comes with a layer of tots which completes the crunch. 5/5 5) Masala tots: upgraded to "smothered" which adds queso and another delightful green sauce. Even covered in sauces it's still perfectly crunchy and definitely addictive. 6/5 6) the Pistachio Cheesecake: their original interpretation of cheesecake with a base of moist & crumbled yellow cake (instead of graham cracker crumbs) and a creamy layer of goodness all topped with crushed pistachio. Lightly sweetened and the perfect end to a scrumptious meal. So far I've not dined in, only walked in to place my order to go, but the dining room is spacious and nicely laid out. Fun, whimsical decor on the walls and at least one of their TVs are usually playing an actual Indian show. Give them a try. They will not disappoint!!

Indian food meets Taco Bell THIS PLACE SLAPSSSS!!! The customization of this menu is incredible and the flavors are amazing! I am looking forward to returning to try out more fusion items. Excellent service as all of this food was ready in about 15-20min after my online order! Ground lamb tandoori Parathadilla - 100/5, I LOOOVED it!!! This was my favorite order out of the 3 fusion types. Not only was the paratha perfect, but the tandoori spices tasted amazing with the ground lamb. It wasn't gamey at all. Braised lamb vindaloo Munchwrap - 4/5, not as big of a fan of the braised lamb vindaloo with the munchwrap combination. I think it'd be better as a plate and different filling. But still really enjoyed this crunch wrap supreme dupe! Chicken with 65 sauce Burrito - 5/5, really good curry and chicken protein was super tender. Not as much of a fan of the burrito combo, but very filling! Masala tots and fries - 5/5, deep fried super well! Everything was crispy and delicious with the green chutney sauce!!! Mango lassi - 4/5, solid mango lassi! I wish it were more mango forward, but otherwise good! Apologies for the poor pictures, I got the food togo and I was starving so I didn't get pictures of everything looking all nice together.

I've given all I can But we're still on the payroll Braised Lamb Burrito w/ Masala Tots from #MaastIndian

Toby has a theory that all language is about communication, about transmitting ideas from one person to another, so if those two people only speak one language like English of course they're going to speak English to each other. It's different with polyglots like herself. She knows shy of ten language so she's always meeting folks that can speak English and one other language. And she says sometimes the best way to get ideas across is to seamlessly switch between them if they other person is capable of appreciating both, using phrases and constructs from one where the other language is weak in. It's the same with food. Sometimes I believe that the best food is taking one thing that a cuisine does superbly and melding it with another aspect from another cuisine because they do that superbly. Maast has good Indian proteins and sauces, and is willing to utilize other types of delivery systems like burritos, munchwraps, and tostada bowls to make dishes that are more than the sum of their parts. My braised lamb tucked into a burrito was insanely tasty and innovative. I don't know if I've ever had a burrito like it. I mean--I've had goat burrito, which is the closest equivalent. But even that was more of a Mexican classic birria goat than anything with Indian roots. This was an a true Indian burrito. I think the closest equivalent would be when I had the bulgogi chimichangas from Cha Cha Chili, the great Korean/Mexican fusion place that closed some years ago. In short, my lamb burrito rocked and I think the whole CYO entree system at Maast rocks as well. The service is great, going over the whole menu with me and the rest of the party and even answering questions when I had them about how it all worked. They were fast. They were helpful. That's all you can ask from a staff. The ambience was good too. It had lots of seating. It had that nice state where it was busy enough to have other customers going in and out, but not so much that it would be hard to find a seat. It was a clean and buzzing environment, but not so loud that you can't hear yourself speak. But I think the best selling point is that they're trying out some great pairings between Indian base ingredients but expressing those thoughts in a more Mexican-grounded system. Like Hannah said, it really is the best of both worlds and I can't wait to try more of their menu next time I come.

Had a fantastic lunch here today! Great friendly service. Appreciated the explanation of the menu -- fusions (tostadas, burritos, etc) or curry bowls were among the main features on a pretty vast menu with numerous sides and Mac and cheese options, etc. I ordered a bowl with 1/2 chicken, 1/2 mixed vegetables korma curry that came with super fluffy, perfectly cooked rice and paratha (a delicious flat bread), and a side order of 3 samosas with cilantro chutney. The chicken was super tender and the vegetables were perfect. Great portions too. I ate half for lunch and will enjoy the rest for leftovers. Really wish they were serving naan, but that will come later as they build out their kitchen. They let you customize the heat level of your curry -- I selected hot, and the server asked if I wanted it at an 8 or 10; I selected 8 cause I love spicy food. This food was next level spicy and your girl could've had medium, lol. Still flavorful though. Very delicious curry. I'll be returning soon!

I forgot the exact name of the food that came with the rice, I think it's the chicken menu! The seasoning is not too strong so yes the fusion is right, but! I think my party ordered the different chicken menu but what came is the "butter chicken" menu. We kinda fine with it since we're hungry hahaha, good thing that it's good and portion wise it fits for 3pax. Me and my other friend ordered Hakka Noodle! 5 star! BUT 3 star for the portion. It was so small and we kinda surprised with it, the taste of the noodle makes me want more of it! Their samosa (vegan) is so good, and I must tell you that this starter should be the first thing you order here! They fill the inside so generously and once again, good amount of seasoning! For the dessert we order their cheese cake, oh okay this is 4star! Overall, price wise yes it's pricey, but if you like fusion Indian food then this place is good! Portion wise,, 3stars ahahaha, some menu is so small in portion. Their service is well when we came, it was packed and only 2 people attend everything, so it's quite late for waiting the food to come. The interior is beautiful, they just need to crank the AC more. Overall, yes I will come back for more and try their other fusion menu!

You have to try this place!! On my way back to pasadena, I stumbled upon Maast Indian restaurant. What attracted me to this restaurant was their out of the box concept of Indian cuisine mixed with Sandwiches, Burritos and Bowls. That was the hook for me! The owner greeted me immediately and explain to me right away how their menu worked. The place was SUPER clean, the Menus are modern and well-designed with warm colors that make you even more hungry! I wanted to go nontraditional, so I got the Burrito with Chicken and Butter Masala and the owner suggested, I get the the upgraded fries.... HOLY MOLY! Every single seasoning, plus the sauces were well balanced. I'm pretty nosy, so I had to know more about the business. For what I gathered. It's 100% family owned and operated. Turns out the daughter designed the menu which I had to compliment. I'm jealous for the people that live here, since I live all the way to Pasadena. Next time I'm doing business in the area. I'll have to come back and enjoy their amazing food and service.

Tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The menu has an interesting Indian fusion concept, and everything we tried was very delicious. Great flavors and good food overall. I'll definitely be back to try the nachos next time. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Finally stopped in for lunch to try this indo-Mexican fusion restaurant. Warmly greeted by Rachel who kindly explained the family owned restaurant with its beautiful hand drawn chalk mural, and the menu. We tried the parathadillas one with paneer and the other with channa chole. Both delicious. They allow you to customize the spicy level and protein, and fillings. We also met the chef, who explained their catering services. So glad to have an Indian quick bite spot near by!!!

2026.05.14 lunch party of 2 I wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't a gem of an Indian street food restaurant surrounded by a Dunkin' donut. Sweet little patio however it's flush to the donut drive through so I don't imagine anyone fully enjoying sitting there unless there was a large hedge or bamboo divider to give the illusion of privacy, That being said, the inside is lovely and far removed from what I expected. Everything is clean and new. Let's talk food. Shout out to the titles on the kids menu. Pick your vehicle pick your protein add a side. I wanted to try something different so I went with the parathadilla bc I love a good crispy flatbread. You had me at braised and if it's lamb I'm with it. My inner child wanted tots and we did it smothered in masala and cheese. I've never had noodles at an Indian restaurant so we decided to give the Hakka noodles a shot. We made those vegetarian with egg. Last but not least? I had my eye and my heart set on the kesar pista cheesecake. Service was attentive and cheerful, we got to hear some Dunkin donut confusion anecdotes and a promise that food is expedited at top speed around here. True to their word the food was out at lightning speed. They asked if we wanted the cheesecake now or later. I would've said now but my friend requested later so I had to concede. The parathadilla was a ticket to flavortown. We ordered medium spice which had a little kick but nothing scary if you're tender tongued. Love the tender crisp shell and The lamb? SO NICE. Fresh and braised. My friend normally doesn't enjoy lamb due to some residual taste aspects but said this was not what they expected. Tots hit, crispy not oily nor soggy. Hakka noodles decent. Star of the show? Kesar pista. Chilled from the refrigerator, creamy, not overly sweet with that pistachio and a gorgeous crumbled crust layered at the bottom. I will definitely be back just for that. I've eaten a lot of cheesecake in a lot of places and this is one of my favorites. Hope you like it! Support local businesses, welcome to the OC!

Do yourself a favor and go here! The food is delicious! My personal favorite is the Malai curry with chicken. My goodness! The samosas and the chicken tikka curry were also delicious. Great service super friendly, and very cute decor, loved the space! Also love that they have vegan options! Only thing is it can be pricey.. we only got 2 meals and app and with tip came up to $70.

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

During our visit, we went with the Chef's Recommendation menu and also added mentaiko buttered scallops. I love the interior of this place. The service was also impeccable. Braised Beef Tongue - Practically melts in your mouth Wagyu Carppacio - This dish had so many textures to it. You have the raw beef carpaccio, the salad with sauce on top adds flavor to it, and finally it has the Lays chips on top to give it some crunchy texture. Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki - My favorite thing from this evening. They do such a great show of preparing this for you and you get a dipping plate with a raw egg to get all the flavors in this. The sukiyaki sauce in the bowl was super flavorful and strong. Wagyu Short Rib - This definitely tastes better using the spices they give for your meal. It's more on the lean side so it was very easy to eat iWagyu Prime Short Rib - This has a little bit more fat and on the chewier side when ate plain. But with the dipping spices, it definitely brings out the saltiness the meat needs Wagyu Bibimbap - The staff will mix this in front of you and make sure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed so you can get a little bit of seaweed, wagyu, sauce, and rice in every bite. Of course by the time we got to this, we were way too full so I only got a few bites in before I had to call it and to-go the rest. Mentaiko Buttered Scallops - This was amazingly creamy. However I did make a mistake by adding this to the chef's recommendation. The Chef's Recommendation is curated where everything compliments each other. The mentaiko buttered scallops had their usual strong salty taste and super creamy due to the butter, but it was too strong when added to the Chef's Recommendation that I could barely eat it during the meal. Our next return, I will go with just the chef's recommendation to avoid messing up the balance. But the chef's recommendation was curated very well if you're not sure what to get! The bibimbap and sukiyaki were the chef's kiss

There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.
