I'm new to the area and Tasa2Go is definitely added to my rotation of good eats around Fullerton. My first experience here was not ideal. However, the business personally reached out to me and explained the misunderstanding which I really appreciated. We came back and I decided to give this place another try and my experience has completely changed in a positive way. We got the shawarma bowl and a pasta with delicious garlic and spicy sauce along with a super tangy pickled salad. Everything was so tasty and well seasoned. This place is very serious about how well their food is seasoned and the meats are cooked to perfection. I can tell that the owner, who is super friendly, takes a lot of pride in the business and has a lot of passion for making good food. Might be the most frustrating menu to order from, and you have to do it on a kiosk. I wanted a full order of Alexandrian beef liver sandwich but with the French bread instead of the pita. The way their kiosk menu is setup, this was not possible to order. The two people working there were clueless and unhelpful. One didn't even try, I guess he didn't know English. The other didn't quite understand what I was asking for. Anyways, I just settled for a half order because apparently that's all I can order if it's with that bread. Food wasn't all that great. The liver was missing the veggies you see in the pictures. The so called tahini sauce was a thick paste that looks nothing like the runny sauce in the pictures. Honestly, this place hit different. From beginning to end. The customer service was fantastic, the self checkout is great if you prefer to have minimal interactions which makes things very efficient. Same goes for the choice of inside or outdoor dining. The Beef Shawerma Fattah was so tender and packed with deep, savory flavor that you can tell the chef really knows their craft. That Bechamel pasta came out creamy and golden with the perfect baked top. This was all done right! The Fankoush and garlic sauces brought bright, bold layers that made every bite pop, while the green salad kept things fresh and balanced. These dishes were very intentional with their seasonings. Wow, one of the best meals I've had in Fullerton. This was my first time trying Egyptian food and I loved it. I ordered the kabab wrapped in lamb fat sandwich and i audibly let out a "wow". It was juicy, perfect ratio of meat to fat, and the sauce and onions added a little bit of brightness. I paired this with the mango juice. I was in heaven. It was so delicious, I brought my friends with me the next time. I can't wait to come back and try more on their menu. There's a few tables inside and outside, but I can see this place potentially becoming very busy. Service was great, the cashier was helpful and friendly. Great Egyptian restaurant, great service and amazing owner. My bf was very pleased with everything given that he grew up eating different types of foods. It was my first experience and thought it was great. My chicken was cooked well and flavored nicely. The only thing was there are limited seats inside however plenty of space outside the patio area. The other was my bf felt it was a little too saucy and will ask for sauce on the side next time. The owner was very friendly and informative about how he cooks all the dishes. I had to be in Fullerton again, so I took some time to look on Yelp to figure out what I would have for lunch the night before. While I was scrolling through places, I saw an Egyptian place. I've never had Egyptian food before, so I really wanted to give it a try. Last night, I thought of ordering the beef brains, but I chickened out and instead ordered the hawawshi with cheese instead. It was made to order and even though it took a while to make (since it was made from scratch), the taste of it was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how the texture and crispness and flavor of the bread paired so well with the heavily seasoned beef that just had so much flavor, and the nice addition of the cheese. These flavors just paired so well together and kept me thinking about my meal all day and how satisfied I was eating it. Needless to say, I was impressed. It's kind of a weird setup inside though. Like the parking plaza here was packed, but out of the 3 restaurants in the plaza, this one was empty. It didn't make any sense whatsoever, especially with how good the food was. The dining area is just a few tables though, so it's smaller than the other restaurants in the plaza, but you would think the taste would get people to still come and eat here. Anyway, I'm happy with the meal and the service. I'm definitely coming back to try more things on the menu next time, and maybe even the beef brains haha read more

I believe we met the owner (looked like the guy from the logo) and he was such a friendly and personable human being. Now the food....bring an appetite because that medium bowl was enough to feed me, my wife and one of my kids lol. We ordered 2 bowls and a sandwich. Everything was packed with delicious spices and flavors. The spices are different compared to like a Halal guys and other places but that's what makes this place different. It's similar but not similar (in a good way) if that makes sense. There was not any tables inside of the spot but there was outside seating and tables. Overall, I would love to come back and try more unique dishes like the one with brains. When I'm down that way again, I will definitely be returning. Delicious, fast, open late-ish with online ordering. This isn't going to be your Americanized Egyptian food, which can be hard to find in the area. Delicious liver, flavorful complex pickled eggplant, excellent shawarma. Tried sobia (coconut rice drink) for the first time and that was delicious. Turkish coffee is also available and wonderful. The sandwiches can be gotten in halves and are very affordable. Watch out for those spicy peppers, I can eat spicy and they packed a punch. Tasa2Go is an Egyptian restaurant that specializes in charcoal grilled meats. All the food served here is HALAL. They have sandwiches, shawarma, rice, pasta, fries, and charcoal grill meats. I wanted to get a variety of meats to try and after talking to the owner he recommended the beef shawarma fattah. Beef Shawarma Fattah ($26 - Large / $21- Regular) - I got the large size not realizing the quantity was too much, 2 people could have eaten this. This came with a roasted bread base, rice on top, beef shawarma meat, garlic sauce and 2 sides (I went with eggplant and a salad). The beef was on the drier side and had a slight charcoal taste to it. The rice had a spicy tomato sauce mixed in. Overall, I thought the beef was just ok. I did feel it was over priced. I did try a little of my co-worker's chicken plate ($19) and while the chicken was tender, it didn't have much in the way of flavor other than some charcoal taste. Compared to other Middle Eastern places I have been to I would pass on this. They only have 2 tables inside for seating and 3 outside. It does take a while to grill meats, so be prepared to wait. I finally got to try Tasa2Go! It has been on my list of places to try. The owner Rimon was so nice and gave me expert direction on which dishes to try and which sauces to use on each dish. I did the beef shawarma bowl and Kabeb wrapped in lamb fat - Tarb sandwich. And my daughter who is vegetarian went with the Koshary (vegan). All of the food was full of flavor and the quality of the ingredients is high. A lot more rich flavor than other Mediterranean regions which I liked a lot. The sauces paired perfectly with the dishes (garlic sauce, tahini, red pepper sauce). They have a selection of Egyptian drinks including a delicious Guava juice that I got to try. Owner served us with true Egyptian hospitality & it is legit Egyptian (as verified by my wife & in laws) with a wide variety. Loved the lamb chops & the kofta with tarb, soo good. Another restaurant crossed off the list! This one gets a 4/5 stars from me. Located in Fullerton, this place is SMALL. As in, there's two tables inside kind of small. There are some tables outside, but like I said, the place is not big by any means. However, the food is where it shines. They serve Egyptian food which is, in my mind, similar to Mediterranean type of food. You have beef and lamb and chicken. We got the Tasa Single which includes beef kofta, kabob wrapped in lamb fat, lamb chop, and lamb kabob. I'll say that the rice was excellent. Very flavorful and delicious. Only wished they gave more! The beef kofta was my favorite of all the meats. It was spiced well and tasted great. The lamb kabob was my least favorite. It was a tad hard and wasn't my thing. Personally, I don't think the portions are big for the price. It seemed a little pricier to me, so not as much of a value proposition. However, they do make everything fresh. The cashier was very nice and did mention it'll take around 25 minutes to prepare and he was not kidding. However, the food was tasty. I was convinced I had found that perfect Mediterranean restaurant I had long-sought. I finally found it. Almost. The food? Spectacular! I had the Beef Shawarma Fattah which, based on the reviews here, is quite the popular dish! It was delicious. I got the large size, as I wanted to take some home, and I'm glad I did. The service? Also spectacular! Remon, the owner, is one of the nicest folks around. He does everything he can to keep his customers happy, and it truly shows. I very much appreciate the hospitality of an owner who truly cares. Why isn't this the perfect restaurant? The dreaded credit card surcharge, which one HAS to pay, as ordering is via kiosk. Then, the auto-tip (somewhere in the 16-18 percent range). I love tipping and, if this was a full-service restaurant, I would have tipped even more. Having the tip automatically added to all cheques was a disappointment, though. There are a couple tables inside and (I think) four outside so, be aware this is primarily a to-go location. Would I recommend Tasa2Go to others? Absolutely! Check it out, and enjoy fabulous food and service. Just be aware beforehand of the added charges, to reduce any chance of disappointment. read more

It can take a while to make like around 30 mins but it's worth the wait. Tasa mix had 2 lamb chops, beef kofta, kabab wrapped in lamb fat, and lamb kabab, over a bed of seasoned rice. (TBH I couldnt tell which kabab was what besides the lamb chops, but it was all delicious and going down the same way!) Comes with 2 sides of your choice, and you'll have the option to add grilled chicken if you pay extra as an add-on. Meat was soft, tender, and flavorful that paired well with the rice. The Rice - Omg the rice was so good!!! I could eat an entire tray if I could afford the calories. Rice pudding - 5/5 Fragrant, creamy and soft. Medium level of sweetness. Egyptian tea - 4/5 It's strong with bits of ground tea leaves inside. You're given several packs of white sugar to adjust the sweetness bc that tea is strong and slightly bitter. Ambience - It's a small restaurant, super casual, pickup takeout and leave, on-the-go type of place. I think there were 2 small tables for indoor dining but they had 3-4 large tables outside for you to sit and eat at. I did not see any restrooms available for customers so you'll have to go somewhere nearby. The owner is also a huge draw for the business I am assuming because he was so welcoming and enthusiastic with clear pride about the food he served and it was infectious. Aside from the Beef and Fries, it's packed also to the brim with a mixture of red onions, tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro which were a great mix. One thing I love as well, is the detail to the quality of how crisp the fries were on the outside to compliment the tenderness of the meat.
