A local chain, Panini's gives off a sports bar vibe with kind of food associated with the same. Sandwiches, wraps, burgers and a wide selection of beer. I took advantage of the build your own version and combined pastrami with salami in panini form and it was a delightful mix of salty and spicy and a great eat. Our whole table was pleased with our meals. Be aware that the seating options available when just the main dining area is open are up in the air and precarious options for the elderly or disabled. Even a 4 inch climb into a booth can be hazardous. read more

They have bunch of local beers on tap. As well as mixed drinks and seltzers. Lots of seating. Lots of staff. Band played tonight. Anyone who happens to go on one of these nights sit on the half of bar closest to front door. Huge difference. Ears will thank you. That said most of people there was for the specific band and didn't seem to mind being close or how loud it was. Back to service. Was what was expected at a bar food place. I was staying about 5 minutes away for a work meeting. I arrived in town around 10:30pm and hadn't eaten all day so I looked up nearby restaurants that had a kitchen open late. When I walked in I was a bit turned off because it smelled like old water. You know that smell of a rag that doesn't dry completely?! I was greeted and told I could place my to go order at the bar. I ordered a Cobb salad and the cheesy garlic wings. The Cobb salad was delicious although they forgot my ranch dressing. The wings were just ok. My partner and I come here maybe every six months or so because it's close to where we live. Every time, we feel like the vibe of the place is severely lacking. Not quite unwelcoming but that's probably the closest descriptor. This most recent visit no one greeted us upon entering. A hostess who must have been coming on shift and entered behind us is the one who greeted and seated us. We were given one paper menu despite there being two of us. Our server was nice enough, it took a bit for her to make her way over with waters. After that she was attentive and unobtrusive. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip as an app. Nothing special there but I do like their chips. They must fry them prior to plating so they can be a bit greasy. We split an Italian panini and two orders of wings. The panini was lopsided. It's meant to be overstuffed but the fries were literally only on one side of the sandwich. The fries needed salt and the whole thing didn't taste like much, despite all the ingredients. Wings were fine. We got boneless Buffalo Parm and traditional Brickhouse Blend. I will say that the boneless wings have a pretty thick breading on them, so be aware if that's not your thing. The server was kind enough to suggest a kids pizza when we went to order a pizza to go for our kiddos. That saved us money and was the perfect size for our toddlers to share for dinner. In these COVID-19 times I find it important to note that we were the only patrons who wore masks into the restaurant and that almost all the staff we witnessed were wearing their masks improperly. There are plexiglass dividers between the booths and we were sat pretty far from other guests (it wasn't crowded at all). The bar didn't appear to have anything in place to divide parties. Overall, not a bad experience by any means but I've never been blown away by this place. read more

Went to Panini's in Twinsburg for lunch. Ordered a burger and onion rings. While eating the burger I ended up with a large piece of plastic wrap in my mouth. I told the server and she took the burger off of my bill, but really irked me is the manager didn't come out to apologize, make sure I was okay, nothing. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I visited with a few friends yesterday, and not even 2 minutes after we were served our drinks we were asked to leave after the drinks were finished. Please ban cell phones for hostesses and waitresses. This review is purely based on that statement. Several that I could see were on their phones at one time or another while people waited to be seated, waited to place an order or waited for food to be delivered. Four tables that I could see were empty with dishes and glasses on the tables long after people left. Did I mention cell phones? Do your job please. And texting isn't it. Was overseas for 4 years, used to love this place. Just got back, was there a few days ago and had... ok.. service, food was good, was dining in. Left 60 dollars tip because I truly respect people working during this time. Went back tonight, ordered to-go, after 35 min I was assured my order was almost ready, 20 min later the waitress said she'd check again. By now I had already paid by card, after about an hour I removed the 20 dollar cash tip and penciled in 5$ as the spot wasn't busy and the waitress didn't seem to care to check on my order. When it finally came out I kindly asked if the food was still warm, I was assured it was as she had seen them completing the order as she walked back. When I got back home not only was all of the food cold, the onion rings were missing. I guess I should've checked, I blame myself for trusting. Won't be back. She begrudgingly took our orders but then refused to serve us. If we wanted drinks we should go to the bar. Fine, let's go to the bar. We all congregated at the bar and were served in order. The bartender worked diligently to retake and make our drinks but moved on before getting to myself, wife and friend. Took family, it's been well over a year as they really reduced their wing specials and portions. Like most places, they price wings as if it was filet steak. Large baskets of French fries are half the size they once were-at $8.50 a basket we required 2. As far as food taste and quality-no complaints! Above average bar food, over stuffed sandwich still really good at $10. Service, place was really slow and so was the service. We tried it on a Sunday, wanted to go to Mavis Winkles but they are not open on Sunday Gotta say, delayed service, I mean no one approached us for 15 minutes, ordered wings and came out ice cold. Definitely seemed like we were a bother to the server. We got there between 4-5 pm so maybe it was a shift change but the customer should never know that's what is happening.I work in a restaurant. Decided to take a ride to eat here kind of a spur of the moment idea. When we walked in we were seated right away. Not sure if the air was broke that day or they just didn't have the air on. As for service we said for about 6 min before someone came over to take our drink order because our waitress was to busy talking to the family behind us. Hubby had wings and a philly cheese steak. He enjoyed the Philly steak sandwich. I ordered a burger with a fried egg and jalapeños with a spicy sauce. It was really delicious. So overall the trip here would have been 5 stars based on the food but as for service it didn't get much better after we waited for her to bring more beers. We order the buffalo chicken dip and the dip was really good but the nachos were a little stale which could have been because it was so warm in there and the nachos might have been sitting out. read more

8/14/20 So, I want this post to be about the great job the manager did in resolving an issue, rather than the food quality and issues. Having said that, the chicken club and fiesta cheese dip are certainly not worth ordering. Our pickup order took twice as long to make as indicated. It was cold, missing one salad and missing dressing for the other. However, the manager was very apologetic. He had our order remade and brought it out to our house himself! We have been to this location countless times and never had any problems and thought it was super clean for a bar. Today our visit was horrible! They are not taking COVID precautions. Server walks up and not only was he not very friendly, his mask was pulled way below his nose. I kindly ask him to pull it up and we order drinks. Looking around the bar tender didn't even have a mask on and other staff had it below nose or complete off chatting with other workers. Server brings our drinks...his finger was inside my glass. First of all this is a Panini's, not a four or five star establishment. Expect sandwiches and bar food and no more/no less. For people who are not locals, yes the name is Panini's, but they do not have a typical Panini sandwich. What they do specialize in is their famous overstuffed sandwich. That usually consists of slaw and fries and whatever else tickles your taste buds...all piled on a sandwich. Like a car crash, but in a good way. When I was younger my friends and I used to go to Paninis in the Flats. It was our hangover food. Get the fried egg and ham sandwich and order a Bloody Mary. Ahhhhh. Wait...where was I? Oh yeah..... If you like your fries crispy tell them in advance because otherwise they are kind of soggy and flimsy. I usually get a dry rub traditional wing and I do think they have some of the best wings around. They crisp them in the fryer, toss them in the sauce/rub, and they're crunchy! Just the way I like them. Just beware if you get an order to go to check your bag. I'm always missing the sides like celery, sauces etc. And they answer the phone very abruptly here. Like they're always in a hurry and you are a pain in their buttowski. Then you go to pick up and there's only, like 10 people in the whole place. LOL. not exactly sure what your smoking policy is but it shouldn't be everywhere on your patio. I got the first table outside at 5 pm and was not advised everything was open to smoking and vaping.
