The service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and was truthful about the items she liked on the menu. I got the rueben and the bread was really soggy. The taste was okay. My husband really liked the wings and their brownie with buckeye ice cream is the reason I gave this place 4-stars. You have to try it. So good!

GIANT pretzel appetizer, it's HUGE and sweet potato fries side dish.

Ate here tonight and so glad we did. Make sure you come hungry! Portions are big enough to split between two people. This was our second time visiting TAP and we weren't disappointed. We started with the GIANT pretzel appetizer and sweet potato side dish. Both were amazing! The pretzel comes with both a cheese sauce and mustard. I liked the mustard for dipping the pretzel into. It had a sweet tang to it. The family members with me preferred the cheese sauce. We also split the wedge salad. Also delicious and it had a good amount of bacon on it. Yum!!!!! For my entree, I had the fish and chips. So fresh! There is a perfect balance of fish and breading. Fries seasoned well. Ended up bringing home some leftovers. The fish was also moist and cooked well. Another family member ate the Asian salad and really enjoyed it. Said they would get it again. We were too full to get dessert tonight. TAP is also a great place to watch football. They had drink specials tonight!

Bartender was great he was totally on the drinks and pleasant. The dangerous burger was delicious but I can't say much about the fries could have been cooked a little longer but I was hungry so I wasn't going to complain. The burger was the best part of the meal and hubby got onion rings and I had a couple of those so all was good. The menu is small so not much to choose from but sometimes that is better then it is easier to make a decision and the burger was a good choice. Beer was ice cold which is always a plus. Over all I would return next time I visit mgm. The buffet was been terrible the last few times we visited so that is why we decided to try the tap.

Fun place to see a band! We saw 1988 play, we also ate here. Split an order of chicken tenders ($11) and mac n cheese ($6), along with a short Jack n coke and 4 miller lites, our bill was 43.and change. Not terribly bad. Bar staff was great and Dominique (behind the bar) did a great job talking care of us!

They have the best wedge salad I've had to date. The service was top notch, and I enjoyed the people watching.

Me and my wife both had the $37 cowboy steak. Almost immediately after me and my wife both had bad diarrhea definitely won't be back!

Twinsburg is better service and they seem to care more. Solon not so much. This review is for…read moresolon. This is a great spot to catch the game and grab some good food. We went for happy hour and watched the US vs aUS match. My chicken franc was incredible. So tender and light. Paired with spatzelles. I would recommend. My aunt ordered one of the senior specials and she really liked it. My mom ordered five wings and asked for all flats. They do that for her at Twinsburg but they refused her request and instead gave her four drums and one flat. No one could remedy this and just apologized. But to me it was and is an easy fix. They didn't care. She may not go back

This place is a staple in Twinsburg and has been for the last 20 years or so. I do feel that it has…read morelost some of its charm since it opened and that the quality of the food is hit and miss. That being said, I do enjoy the atmosphere and wood interior. They could do with dimming the lighting a little bit to give it a more aithentic public house feel. The menu is fairly diverse and stereotypically Irish with funny names for food items like Kieran's quesadillas and Irish eggrolls. I will admit that I have probably only had five or six different menu items, including the shepherds pie, fish and chips, and schnitzel. The shepherds pie was passable. The schnitzel was soggy and not particularly tasty. The fish and chips is OK (I've had it several times) but I do not care for the batter they use at all. It is not even close to an authentic beer batter like you would find in Ireland or the UK. The flavor is neutral, and usually some sections of the batter become exceptionally hard for some reason. I do frequently attend their Thursday night trivia which is a lot of fun. All in all, I feel like Mavis Winkle's could be doing a lot of things a lot better but I guess it is passible for a little town like Twinsburg.
