Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is a gem! Party of 4 for Friday night dinner... we were seated right away. Lots of servers and surely a local following as there appeared to be regulars. We tried a panino sandwich, manicotti, shrimp scampi, and chicken parmigiana with zoodles. All were SO good! Portions are hefty... if you want a regular portion order a "small". Save room for dessert... the "special icecream". We tried the Pistachiogram and it was amazing!! Let us know he'd be right with us seated as soon as he could came over and talk to us for a while. Met a couple of other people in the restaurant. Our waitress was very very nice. This is kind of served in slices like you got in high school lunch room. Small is 4 slices, Med is 8, Large is 12 or a sheet pan. It comes with a great amount of toppings on it. Good sauce and I cant wait to eat here next time. This place has been in the family for 3 generations. There cousin owns another one in town and the sister is in northern Colorado. For Colorado Springs, this is the best Pizza and Jalapeno poppers (not the kind you get most places) they are wrapped in dough. Delicious. read more

Fantastic Italian restaurant in CO Springs. My 18yo son appreciated the all-you-can-eat spaghetti. Food is flavorful and our server was friendly and fast. Note that half portions are really half size, unlike other restaurants where the small version is now like 2/3s the regular. read more

Lowering our initial rating from a four star, to three star. My wife and I ate there yesterday and they took our drink order promptly. We wanted to order an appetizer, but sat there for almost 10 minutes, trying to get someone's attention to stop back by our table, to no avail. Looks like the staff was able to congregate up by the front door and talk, go back into the kitchen and talk, But it took a while before someone stopped by our table. The server that helped us was very nice, however, the hostess that sadness looked like one of those people that doesn't like their job and did not wanna be there. We ordered the cheese bread with a side of the beans, and it came out with the cheese bread with the beans on it. They quickly replaced it with the correct order of the cheese bread with a side of beans. The beans were a little spicy and my wife did not like them. The cheese was very sparse on the cheese sticks, so we would never order that again. My wife had a Panini with chicken and cheese inside and her opinion was "meh...". I had the Big "T" Puzza and it was good. It is very thin on the base, and I like thin pizza, so that was OK. I will have to say that it tasted better at the restaurant, then the leftovers did warmed up. Since almost every time we go out to eat, we're spending $40-$60 just for the two of us to eat, we've become much more picky on selecting restaurants that actually have amazing food, and not just average or OK food. Due to the average nature of the food and the horrible service that we experienced at first, we will not be back. read more

My wife and I started with the bruschetta. I thought $11.50 was a little high. Nope. It is huge! Excellent! Then we had a large Puckstar pizza. Comes with pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. I'm not a fan of hot crumble sausage because it takes over the pizza. However, the pizza was cooked perfectly! Absolutely perfect crust. Then we finished it off with some mud pie. Excellent service! Panino's is always my first stop when visiting Colorado Springs. My brother and my dad live nearby and they don't even have to ask about the first place we're going to eat. We've actually had some pretty cool life moments at this location too. I met my future sister-in-law there for the first time. We celebrated my mom's life with friends after her funeral service. It's just a warm, family place where you will always feel comfortable. I've also been to the location in Fort Collins, which is excellent as well. I decided to hell with my keto diet for one meal and ordered my favorite, the 2x4. OMG! This is Heaven on a plate! It's got pepperoni, ground beef, cheese and more and it is absolutely outstanding! Worth the trip from Vegas for sure! They also start you off with a nice salad. I don't really have enough superlatives for their food and won't embarrass myself by trying. I love this place but shrinkflation took over. I ordered a Rueben panino and had only little scraps of beef. If I received even one ounce of beef, I would be shocked. I paid 15.00 for a veggie flat bread with some beef bits basically. I am very disappointed. I think I will be cooking at home more and will not go there for a long time. Sad! read more

We were greeted and seated promptly, and the place was very busy, including two large groups. JI had the small Fettuccine Alfredo pasta with garlic bread on the side, while my companion had the french dip panino. Beer is bottle only. Service was impeccable and the food was great. Myself and my family have been coming to this gem of a restaurant for decades since moving to the skyway neighborhood of Colorado Springs about 20 years ago. This restaurant hasn't changed much over the years thankfully and we absolutely love the pizza. I am glad they have asked banded two other locations in Colorado Springs but I adore the west side eighth Street location tucked away in a shopping center with other local businesses. My business partner and I came here for lunch on Tuesday while we were working on the IT for the new Cheyenne Mountain Ace Hardware store that just opened down S 8th St. What a gem! I had the Gino Paninio. At the waitress's suggestion I had BOTH meatball and sausage. It was EXCELLENT (and big enough to have 1/2 left over for dinner). The homemade coleslaw was also tasty. We were vacationing from St Louis and found this place online. They were able to get our group of 12 in right away. Service was super. Food was excellent. We found this using Yelp, and it was less crowded than other places at the time, which was excellent. Located in a strip mall, we were happy to see many cars indicating something good. Ordered salads, cheesy bread, and a pizza. I ordered for my friend, and got her salad preference wrong. Friend found our server who was happy to make it right. The cheesy bread was super cheesy and delicious -- easily the best I've had in recent memory. Pizza was too much, it turned out. Greasy, big, we took most of it to go. It was possibly too rich on top of the cheesy bread. Disappointed we ordered too much without knowing it. Would recommend and go back if I lived in Colorado Springs! read more

Great little hole in the wall! It is non-pretentious and doesn't look like much from the outside, but the staff and food were exceptional! There were 3 of us that ordered their house specialties-the Panino. Thinly rolled pizza crust baked with various ingredients-Reuben, French Dip, pizza toppings...then rolled into a sort of wrap. I had the chicken pesto stuffed full of chicken, mozzarella, spinach, zucchini, tomatoes and some of the best pesto sauce I have had. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Food came out fresh and fairly quickly. We highly recommend for anyone in the Colorado Springs area! read more
