LOVE this place! This was my 1st visit. Food is very reminiscent to Panda Express. But, they also have traditional style dishes. The broccoli and beef was AMAZING! They season with Chinese 5 spice! My husband and I tried this place tonight we had high hopes due to the restaurant being busy. The portion size was huge. Unfortunately the taste and quality was just not there. We paid extra for the coconut shrimp and all it was was honey, mayo and shrimp. The mushroom, orange and teriyaki chicken meat was questionable. A poor Asian version of a Panda Express - The staff seemed friendly and the place on both visits seemed very busy - I did order something off the buffet with Orange Sauce - Orange Tofu -- the portion was good however the Orange sauce was much more similar to a "sweet sauce" and tasted like the sauce on the "Chow Mein" .. The sauce was terrible on both dishes . My first experience was similar with a different sauce - in my case the Tofu was OK at best. Looking at the food options and based on what my daughter and friends had this was bland . I am amazed that it does seem to be doing a brisk business given the poor quality of the food. My 7yo volunteered to go first, and I selected one after another piece of the boodog, trying to find at least a morsel of edible protein for my starved youngling. My husband and I decided to check this place out after our shopping at Ross. It seemed to smell very yummy. However, upon receiving our food it was quite the opposite. I ordered myself some of what I thought was lo mein. It ended up tasting nothing like lo mein. The employee said it was actually chow mein. Regardless, it was quite flavorless. For protein I chose orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and kung pao chicken. The orange chicken was not bad. Although I don't even know if it was chicken. The teriyaki "chicken" was awful. It looked yellow and green and orange. It tasted like what raw chicken smells like plus oil. And for their kung pao chicken, I could taste the green veggies but that's about all I could taste. My husband ordered himself the Combo B. For his proteins he chose fried chicken wings and the spicy chicken and egg rolls. For his fried "chicken wing" it seemed like it had been dried/mummified that when he took a bite it literally crumpled. Then for his spicy chicken, it was very gamy and chewy and also didn't taste like chicken. Finally, for the egg rolls. The veggies inside were in the process of fermentation. Needless to say, the $36 spent was a complete waste. We did not finish our food and the moment we saw a trash can we took the opportunity to dispose of this alleged Chinese food. We do not recommend. This place should definitely be looked into due to our concerns with the legitimacy of the chicken. Currently, we both seem sick to our stomachs. They have ready made food to choose from (three combo sizes to choose from) that come in handy when your in a crunch for time. The food is delicious. They also provide menu made to order items. I have had both and can say each is delicious. I have also had their crab boils and they are good, and the price point can't be beat. Only thing that threw us off was that we expected sausage in the crab boil as it advertised and got hot dog weenies. But over all we love this place. read more

I have been to this Wok restaurant twice in May. The portions are huge, but what is concerning is the quality of the meat. I had pepper beef which was mostly fat and rubbery, and 2nd time had barbecued pork which was cold and should have been tossed. I did not get these orders to go. When I told the owner, he just shook his head. The counter servers scream at the Wok cooks to tell them what is running low, and then they laugh. AFTER BEING IGNORED we decided to take a combo plate off of the order and then they offer coupons for "their" location. Now here comes the MOST FRUSTRATING PART. I grab the coupons and I see at the bottom. It says that they accept any competitor coupons. For general purposes, I go back in the store to ask why he didn't take a coupon because the bottom of the coupon reads they take other restaurant coupons. I showed him where it said that and ALL HE DOES IS TURN THE COUPON OVER AND POINT TO THE LOCATIONS. One of them being the one we were at and the other across town. Then I ask him, so these are your competitors, pointing at the two addresses, and HE SHAKES HIS HEAD AND SAYS YEAH . Comes with chow mein, fried rice plus two items. Selected orange chicken, salt and pepper beef. I usually like Kung Pao chicken but it just didn't look right in the serving dish so I passed. I live just a few minutes away and was happy to try a few items. I'm giving two stars just for the fast service and large portions. Unfortunately, the food is the issue. I gotta say the food was barely edible. I threw most of it away. I really hope you will improve the quality of the food, especially the beef. So chewy I just spit it out. Egg rolls just mush inside. Chow mein like from a can. Orange chicken was at least recognIzable but was a "D" in texture and preparation. Seriously, I want you to stay open and make it here.
