It's not corporate, not scripted just a real local bar doing things their own way. The energy easy, and the beer solid. If you're looking for a polished taproom, this isn't it. But if you want a laid back spot with character and no pretense, Mack House has its own charm.

It was a Friday around 7:30 PM, so the place was packed, which felt pretty standard for the time. We were seated at a booth since there were no high top tables or bar seats available, but it still worked out fine. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive, checking in on us regularly without being intrusive. We ended up having a couple of rounds and then moved on to another spot that felt a bit more intimate for the rest of the evening.
