Finally! Bonham got a good place to eat breakfast! I ordered the Texas Classic breakfast and opted for bacon and biscuit with it. The bacon is a good, quality bacon and was cooked to perfection. The hash browns were cooked exactly how I like them...crispy. my eggs were cooked exactly like I ordered them. Now let's talk about that biscuit. Yes, it is worthy of its own paragraph. It is homemade, and so delicious. Yum! Hubs ordered the ham and cheese omelet with a side of fruit (he's on some new diet kick). He said it was very flavorful with lots of cheese. His fruit was very fresh. As an after thought, I ordered the sourdough toast just to try it. So good! So buttery. It is hard to choose between the toast and biscuit. Both are winners. I cannot wait to come back here for lunch or dinner! I glanced at their menu, and their prices are super reasonable. The service was super friendly and attentive. I am a suckered for rustic café decor, and this one is very charming. They have a really cool painting. I took a photo. Another after thought...hubs saw pumpkin lattes, so he ordered one to go. We were passing through Bonham, so I jumped on yelp to find something good to eat & came across this place. Although they didn't have a bunch of reviews, the ones they did have were good - so we decided to give them a try. Walked in around noon on a Friday to an empty restaurant, that's usually not a good sign. Our server looked like she'd just rolled out of bed but at least she was there I suppose. There was also a young school aged girl sitting in a booth who was semi watching a little toddler (employees children I assume)? We had to listen to Miss Rachel sing Old McDonald & the toddler running around being loud. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. They had good tea, I will give them that. It's a nice place, it was clean & conveniently located downtown near other businesses - which is why I couldn't understand why they weren't busy. I guess the locals might know something I don't. We were the only ones there the entire time. I know good help is hard to find these days, so you may have to settle for what you can get, but your employees can also make or break you as well. Nice downtown casual setting for breakfast or lunch. We showed up opening day, and experienced prompt and friendly service. Seems like they were still ironing some things out but overall the food was good. Nice flavor to the club sandwiches! The Texas Sheetcake was yummy and not overly sweet. read more

I just cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Yesterday was my first time dining there and there is no room for improvement - period, full stop. We were immediately greeted with a smile as soon as we came in. I love the menu and their food quality is just wonderful, The service was evert bit as good as the food too. The ambiance hits all the bases, starting with the iron threshold at the front door. That pretty old pine? floor squeaks every once in a while and I love that. The Green Chili grilled cheese and fries were perfection. I don't think a lot of restaurants pay close enough attention to the fries but these were so hot and yummy. The service was very good and the cafe is super cute. We will stop again when we are driving through. read more

We finally managed to eat at this sweet restaurant. We had breakfast, tried fried eggs, gravy, hash browns and an omelette. The eggs were perfectly cooked, no brown on them at all. The omelette was thin and yummy, hash browns were crispy, we were not fans of the gravy, it didn't taste homemade. Our server was great and the interior of the restaurant is very inviting! read more

Food, service, and setting are simply amazing. A gem of a restaurant that would be prized anywhere but an incredible discovery on the square in Bonham. All our four visits so far have been remarkable. Their green beans are other wordly. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Try their Sunday brunch. read more

the Chicken Fried Steak was very good. The gravy complemented the steak perfectly. A very pleasant little restaurant.

The only thing worse than the food is the service. It was completely horrible and should be avoided. HORRIBLE!
