You are better off having a dirty car than wasting your money here. I gave them two chances, and always left mad at myself for not listening to the other bad reviews. The machine is a joke. Prices are too high for the lack of quality. Papa Bare can't hold a candle to Brown Bear. Also their service is extremely slow. I could wash my car myself, and do a more thorough job, in the amount of time it takes to even start the automated wash. But I suppose it beats getting wet with DIY. read more

Aw poop, and it's true! After paying $9 today for my car wash at Papa Bears in Bothell, I still had bird poop on my front window. The nice sign does not reflect the quality of cleaning your car actually gets. They should be more generous with cleaning solution too, I didn't see many bubbles doing the job, the hand prep was mediocre, the blow dry was a joke and there was no one to make up for that by doing a cloth wipe. I will just keep going to Brown Bear in Shoreline when I visit my mom. I wish I could get my $9 back! read more

First you can't pay at the car wash itself, you have to pay at the gas station so I had to pull out and go back to the gas station and pay, you pay as if you are getting a legit wash but the wash was not good and they didn't dry it at all. So bring your own towel. This is a 5 dollar wash that you get charged 15 bucks for. Lame. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!!!!!! In fact, don't give them the business at all. There are other gas station choices right there that don't have a rude owner. The car wash brush scratched my brand new call all over. Who knew a car wash brush could damage your car so bad!?! I went back immediately and not only were the owner and manager not helpful, they were down right rude. He said I must not have followed the directions correctly and that he can't be held responsible for the condition of his car wash brushes. The coin machine was broken while I was there, and the ho-hum manager slowly walked his way over and was rude to the two gentlemen who lost their $5 in the machine. They don't even have a credit card machine. You still have to walk up and change dollars out. That just shows how old and crappy this place is. I used the self car wash and ended up completely soaked from head to toe because the hose sprayed water out of the side. The soap barely came out of the nozzle, and I ended up with a dirt smeared car and wet shoes. Came back the next day to clean up the mess and paid 9 bucks for a soft cloth wash. read more

This gas station is comprised of an expresso stand which has the best barista, best prices and best coffee. It also has a lube, oil and filter place and the guys there are always willing to help me out no matter what the problem is. They also have a car wash, vacuum, carpet washer and scent machine. One stop shopping! read more

I don't know how the owner plans to run this business, bus was the worst experience ever. The employee is very unfriendly and rude. Tried the self wash station because I did not feel like driving to Lynnwood. First there is 5 dollar min to use a card. This is BS. All the other places have no min. Second the self wash was out of soap. So if you tried high pressure with soap, all you got was water. Never again will I go here. Updated 03/16/18 Will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Brushes scratched the rear fenders of my new truck. The workers dragged hand brushes on the dirty running boards and up the rear fenders. You can see the swooping brush marks. We get our weekly car wash there. For the price it is awesome and quick! Love the convenience of them fixing car issues, gassing up, getting an espresso and gas all at once on the way to freeway. Doesn't get any easier!!! :) read more

My daughter had her oil changed and the differential oil replaced. After they had left they smelt oil so they stopped and found the oil cap just laying there, and oil splatter in the compartment area. Also, when they went to check the oil level in the engine, they had over filled the level by a quart. I called the place and was placed on hold with some really bad scratchy sounds back ground noise. When Jon answered I had told him that I was going to talk to the owner and express my feelings on this matter, I could hear laughing in the back ground. I have been a customer at this place for over, 15 yrs. but I think I won't be going there until they fix this problem. read more

You'd have better luck letting our rain clean your car, and your car would be just as dry in the rain after going through this poor excuse for a car wash. Even worse, when I called attention to this to the owner, he explained there was a catastrophic failure of equipment yesterday, but he still took my money today. Employees do not car about your car. They have no professionalism at all. As they washed my car, my 10 year old Niece and I got to listen to a profanity filled conversation between two of them. The guy running the car wash yelled at me for not pulling my car up correctly, then continued to talk trash about me while they were washing it and I was sitting inside. This place needs its own cleaning first.It was so smelly.The brushes are in such a bad condition .10$ down the drain.

scrubber used a bucket to pre brush my car that was pure black water and tiny sand, the machine had no soap in it but they have sand in their brushes in the car wash and it put micro scratches all through my new car (top to bottom) when i called 30 minutes later once i realized they said that the employee said oh it was cause my car was sooo dirty (i could se clear out my windows except a light haze on the back window and only in some parts of the body you could touch it and a LITTLE dirt would get on your finger/ super light film) they dont care about their services and the quality of their machines any more and dont care to make it right. very disappointed because we used this car wash for all of our vehicles over the past 6 years and loved supporting a family business. i saw many other cars before me and behind me on that same day that went through... so if any one is wondering where they came from i can show you the same scratches and pattern on mine. i remember at least 3 cars color, make and model :( read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars! My boyfriend and I pulled up to the self service washing section of this car wash and saw there was a dumpster right next to the bays to wash your car. We checked if there were no dumping signs and there are NONE posted, so we assumed it was for paying customers. We had a tiny cooler in the trunk that was stinking and were going to wash our car so we threw it in the huge dumpster, right next to the car wash bays before pulling in to wash our car. Before we even had a chance to wash our car, some old guy came out cussing and screaming at us. He made my boyfriend climb back in the dumpster and remove the trash!! We apologized profusely and said we thought the dumpster was for customers and were so sorry. We climbed in and removed it and he was still taking our picture, cussing at us, and taking pictures of our car. All the while we are mortified and apologizing and putting trash back in our car. The guy kept saying "BULLSH*T you thought you could throw stuff away here, why don't I come to your house and throw SH*T away." If you are reading this sir, YES WE DID THINK WE COULD THROW SOMETHING AWAY THERE! You have absolutely NO signs indicating that a paying customer cannot throw stuff away while washing their car. At the time we felt incredibly bad because we are not slobs or people that don't abide by rules. Now that I read the reviews, I don't feel bad for making an honest mistake. Horrible. Paid for the $15 wash. Didn't include anything but a pre-soak that was only capable of covering the bottom 3rd of my vehicle. The second right-side brush is broken and tied up with a section of rope. The second set of air dryers don't work. $15 wasn't enough to get a spot-free rinse or spray on wax. When I exited, I still had dead bugs on my windshield and sap and pollen from parking outside. $2 in the self serve wash would've done a better job. Afterwards, I went to the vending machine and spent $2.50 on a window cleaner and dry cloth (to at least clean the bugs off my windshield) and it took my money without providing me with the product. I had to go back up to the service station for a refund and they told me that I would have to wait and have someone escort me to the offending machine to make sure I wasn't trying to pull a fast one on them. Apparently, there's a new scam out there on the streets in which people try to hustle $2.50 from unsuspecting car washes and send the funds back to the Taliban. Total rip-off. Buyer beware. A six year old with three minutes to spare and a garden hose could do better, probably better customer service, too. They gave me a coupon for their oil change service, but after this experience, you couldn't pay me to lift my hood for them. read more
