Although these ribs were not great, we did like them, and my husband said that they were his favorite out of the few that he tried at the festival. The rib tips were meaty and perfectly cooked. In a little sauce but not overwhelmed- it's the meat that counts. The fries were good, crispy and tasty. The slaw was fine, a little average for me. The baked beans were just the way I like: sweet and savory, in thick liquid. Pretty small portion for $5, though. The owners are super friendly. I think they're from Cleveland; they have Polish Boys on the menu. Plus lots of other sandwiches, fish, and good sides. I'll be back. Some chicken wings, perch, rib tips, sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The chicken wings and perch were breaded and seasoned perfectly and fried in very clean vegetable oil. So Yummy!! The sweet potatoes were oh so good, flavored perfectly. I could definitely go back just for them. On to the Baked Beans, oh boy were they flavorful. Heavy on ground pepper, some chopped onions. I've never tasted beans like that, may have to change up my recipe. Totally unique version of Mac and cheese to me. It was baked perfectly but it seemed like they might have mixed in something similar to a Parmesan cheese with it but it was full of flavor. Something special to me were the owners. They're so over the top to help you. They are hands on and it is like they are cooking for their family. And the time I spent with them I felt like part of their family.
