I looked online and found it, therefore placed the order online. Went to the store for pickup and there I saw the same offer on the front door. The person near the front desk was sweet. I wish 0 or 1/2 of a star was possible. I cannot stress enough how bad this place is. And this isn't just a case of Papa Johns pizza not being good. I am not being a pizza snob here. Anyone who orders pizza from one of these places knows what they are getting in to. Its cheap and convenient. That is of course if it doesn't take 95 minutes to arrive. Yes, it took me 95 minutes to get a pizza from a place that is 5 minutes from my house. In that time I could have gone to the grocery store, purchased pizza ingredients, driven home, and fully prepared my own pizza. I was twice told that the driver was on his way, the first time 60 minutes before the pizza actually arrived. Of course when it did finally arrive it was cold. I don't know how this place stays in business. I only come here because it's the nearest papa John to me. The service is slow the workers there ignore you because they are busy keeping up with other orders. I placed an order 40 plus minutes earlier already paid and I'm waiting for it still baking in the oven. They're rude too. Telling me to be patient and wait! The last few times that we have ordered here, I've experienced untrained staff, disorganization, and long wait times to carryout our order. Our last delivery order took over 90 mins to arrive, and the manager at the time repeatedly stated the order was on its way. Pathetic customer service. Unfortunately only place which delivers pizza to my home. But I will not order again. First it took almost 1 hr 45 min to deliver . Secondly the guy who delivers haggles for more tips and the final straw on the camels back was when we found out that they had delivered a wrong pizza we called .. The store person wanted me to read out the label number and j said I gave back the box to the driver . She put me to the manager . No apologies and he said he will send the correct one and kept the phone. Rude guy. It took another 45 min to deliver and it was cold! This is not the first time it is happening . I have zero negative things to say of them as I was e-mailed a promotion for a $5.99 large pizza and had trouble doing it online. Their restaurant manager was very accommodating and filled the order for me, and added a topping {also being so kind as to let me do 1/2 extra cheese, 1/2 pineapple as 2 halves equals 1 topping}. It was ready when I arrived, at a good temperature, tasted great, and worth it {I also came from Manalapan to get a pizza in East Windsor, so it says a lot to give it such high marks}. I recently moved to the East Windsor area. I stopped by to grab a pizza on the way home from working late (11:00pm). As I sat inside waiting for my order could not help but notice that the place was filthy dirty. The floor ,the machines. Even the door to the back exit and the front rear the rest room were dirty. I was extremely turned off and grossed out immediately. AND on top of that... the two guys working there did not look so clean either. Long unruly beards on both of them and an unkept appearance only added to my disgust. Will not be visiting that Papa Johns ever again. read more

I used to order pizzas when staying in Jersey City. The service was impeccable and the pizza un-parallel. After moving to Plainsboro we tried ordering pizza from this place, not once but thrice, the first time we gave a benefit of doubt that this is an exception, the second time - maybe we did not get the order right and the third time we realised that the overall package sucks, the pizza comes late, the taste is not even closer to the standard Papa Johns pizza. Multiple experiences of disgust with this location. 2 stick out the most. 1. They had a deal where they offered half off your pizza the day after a Phillies victory. so we called in for the order but they refused to place the order because they claimed they were losing money off the deal. So y not pull the add all together. Most importantly if you are going to still "attract" ur paying customers with this advertisement, attached to the pizza box from a prior delivery, Either honor the deal or compensate them accordingly.. I had spoken to a gentleman who had apologetically directed me to her superior ( Franchise owner), who said tough luck there is nothing we can do. Being an avid fan of Papa Johns, and knowing one franchise or person doesn't define the whole company, but it showed bad representation. and was an enormous Turn off... 2. Months later obviously after my anger towards this location had gone i went on their online website to order a large pie on their 12 bucks any large deal, for delivery. 1 hour later still no response, i called in and a lady, whose voice beared resemblance to the franchise owner i spoke to months back, says to me their isnt a delivery person available. so i would have to come pick it up. Irritated as i was i went to get the pizza, and the only person at the location at 3:30pm on a wednesday afternoon was this franchise owner. who for all i know along with her poor skills of running a franchise, cant make a pizza to save her life. as it was burnt, and i am no pizza chef, but i can say that she doesnt know the consistency of cheese to sauce and the whole nine yards. On top of that knowing that i had to come pick it up because they dont have a delivery boy OR any other staffer who can make a legit pizza she charges me the full price for the pizza. I had asked her y i wasnt able to recieve the deal i had ordered online, and she had told me that was an online deal for delivery. i told her that is no fault of mine and that u should atleast honor the price if anything. and she said she will not and thats not her fault... Utter disgust and I have lost faith in the whole Papa Johns franchise for employing or having pathetic people such as her representing their name. I will no longer be going to Papa Johns and will tell all my family and friends to refrain from going their as well. Completely disorganized place with rude employees. A simple order which I had called ahead of wings took 45 minutes! Either they can't keep up with the volume of calls or are constantly losing good employees so there are newbies that need to be trained, whatever is the reason for delay and mistakes, but I'm never going back ! Disgusting PIZZA and DISGUSTING Customer service if called their customer service number and...at their store location... 400 US 130, Ste 6 East Windsor, NJ 08520 First we ordered delivery, it automatically turned to carry out. Secondly we went to pick up the pizza, came back to office, the pizza was wrong , we ordered Buffalo chicken Pizza and got plain chicken pizza. Ordered Store, the guy told us, not to eat the whole pie of the wrong pizza, just save 5 slices...and I was wondering what they gonna do with it. So he said, he is waiting for the driver and he is going to send us the pizza. I called after 1 hour, the manager at 4 PM in the afternoon says he does not have any drivers and if I want I need to come and pick it up. I said I am coming there in 30 minutes to pick it up. Then he again called me up and said, he spoke with the person who made Pizza and told me that they cant give us Pizza. I said give my money that I paid extra for specialty pizza back and he didn't do that also. I called their customer service and it was useless, they said owner will call you back. Thank you. I was pleasantly surprised at how decent this pizza was. My husband and I had one of those late nights and were too tired to cook, and nothing else around was open past 10 p.m. so we were out of choices. We took a chance and ordered Papa Johns and truth be told, I was pleased. The pizza had good flavor and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely the best chain pizza I ever had. The delivery guy was amicable and came within 25 minutes. I will definitely order from them again. read more

I usually visit the competition for "fast" pizza but one day I made the switch. I was thrilled with the service of politeness to care in the making of the pizza. To ensure that that the service was not a fluke I walked in to order (opposed to phone order like previously). This time a young lady took my order. Plshe was pleasant and courteous. I did have to wait a little longer as I added food to my order after the fact but when complete the "cook" placed the order in my hand and apologized for the delay and thanked me for bringing them the business.
