We've been waiting for the new Robbinsville Bar and Grill to finally open and went here for dinner on the second day of opening. It was busy for a Friday night, especially given they are the new game in town. The building is very large with an open space plan. There is a large screen TV on one wall and TVs over the bar. I can see this becoming popular with sports enthusiasts given the amount of open space. We ordered a Burger and the Vegetable Panini. Both were very well prepared and the fries were excellent. Overall, we had a good first experience and we look forward to coming back again. Robbinsville Bar & Grill is filling a need in the area for a non-chain bar and grill type restaurant. I hope they succeed!

Starting off strong with the environment. It's big, open and clean. The service was immaculate and the food was delicious. We tried like half of the apps, and they are amazing! They also took our picture and gave us a cute Polaroid keepsake! 10/10 will be back again.

This is a fairly new place that's 5 minutes from our home. We wanted to support my son's school as they arranged a fundraiser with this establishment. We went for an early 430pm dinner. The ambiance was great! The foyer was clean and displayed various number of sports teams memorabilia. The dining area had a good amount of TVs. It took a little time for us to be greeted and seated. Our server was named Ashley, she was a pleasure to have. I ordered the pork belly/beet/arugala salad listed on the special menu. The pork belly was the best I've ever had. It was soft/buttery. My husband got the burger and my sons got the kids Mac and cheese and chicken tenders. We also ordered the mozzarella app. The app was ok, we would not order it again. Overall, food was okay, nothing memorable or special. Food is more on the expensive side for the quantity and quality.

I'm dropping this down 2 stars because of the inconsistency in food and service. We have been there quite a few times after my first review and it's just not the same. The server turnover is remarkable and it seems there are all new faces in there everytime we go. I have been getting the same dish (the drunken chicken sandwich) and every time it tastes different. So much so that last night I had to return mine to the kitchen (which I never do). I received a caeser salad in its place which had so much dressing on it that I couldn't take more than a few bites. My husband said his burger was as good as always. Maybe this is turning into a place where it's only safe to get a burger and beer. On the upside, they did get more draft beers and they now have a limited specials menu. We went on a Saturday night at 6:30 and there weren't many people at all. I like the feel inside with the great high ceilings. Side note - my husband said the bathroom was as freezing cold as it was outside and there is literally no heat in there.

Yesterday my best friend & I came to eat, 03/09/25. My husband & I had come here once before around the time the restaurant first opened. The cocktails are well made & delicious. The right balance of alcohol and mixer! The first time I came here with my husband, we only ordered apps, which was perfect & they were very filling. We had gotten wings and the tendari poutine fries. Yesterday when I went with my best friend I actually got a meal, I got the adult grilled cheese. The soup wasn't too acidic and quite flavorful. The bacon on the grilled cheese was perfect & crispy. My only complaint with the sandwich would be that I don't think the cheese was melted enough for my liking, but overall, it's still a good sandwich. The only thing keeping me from rating this establishment 5 stars was the lack of customer service. The place was not packed when we arrived yesterday & we sat at the bar. It took us quite some time to get served. But overall the staff is very friendly and accommodating!

The food was definitely subpar. We were really looking forward to eating here because it's so close to our home. Truly a disappointment.

What I got instead was an existential paradox that came in a compostable box. The Chopped Cheese Loaded Waffle Bowl was a triumph of entropy. Ground beef, waffle fries, lettuce, pickles, and some house-made sauce that probably had no right being that good. It was sloppy. It was a mess. It looked like what happens when a cook gives up on the idea of neatness and embraces chaos as a culinary principle. It was also delicious. I ate it with the same mixture of shame and pleasure that one feels watching late-night television while knowing there are better things to do. Then there were the wings. I had ordered five of them, boneless, with Mango Habanero sauce. The wings were not terrible, but the house should not be named after them. The chicken tasted like something that had forgotten its own purpose. The sauce, advertised as a union of spice and sweetness, was neither. It sat there on the wings like a politician's promise, shiny but insubstantial. My wife ordered a build-your-own chicken sandwich and cheese fries. She said both were fine, in the same tone people use to describe the weather or a dental cleaning. Fine is not bad, but fine is not what one hopes for when dinner arrives in a paper bag smelling like grease and glory. Still, the Loaded Waffle Bowl was enough to earn a return trip. I would go back for it the way a moth goes back to a porch light, knowing full well it might burn me. Next time, I'll try the bone-in wings. I'll give one of their nineteen sauces another chance to find meaning in the void. Four stars. Because life is messy, the bowl was good, and hope dies harder than it should.

The young man who was our server was very friendly and helpful. The decor was seaside diner. Ordered at our table...a large western style omelette, fluffy and full of the extras, a French Toast egg sandwich (clean plate club), a plate with a pancake, over easy eggs, home fries and toast, all cooked perfectly. I had the triple decker grilled cheese with bacon and tomato (I think it was called the Happy Waitress), so good, bacon perfect. Recommended!

The flavors were a little bland and the chicken was cut too thick, which made it less enjoyable to eat. The home fries that came with it were also disappointing -- they seemed reheated rather than freshly made, and just didn't have that crisp, flavorful kick you hope for at a breakfast spot. My friends had different dishes, but their reactions were similar -- nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We all left feeling like the food was a little underwhelming overall. The bathroom was serviceable but not especially clean, and while the service was fine, it wasn't anything that stood out as particularly attentive or warm. On the positive side, the decor was pleasant and gave the place a nice atmosphere. Honestly, that was probably the highlight of the experience for me. If Yelp allowed half-star ratings, I'd give it a 3.5 just for the vibe. All in all, Chicken & Egg isn't a bad place, but it didn't really impress. With so many options around, it's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but I wouldn't call it a total miss either -- more middle of the road.

Absolutely incredible wings here, they're the 1%er of wings. It's not a debate. I see a few complaining about small wings lol. 1. If you're just hungry for chicken go do that, small wings are a way to maximize flavor and that's what Anthony's accomplishes in these perfectly cooked, crisp, flavor packed hot and extra hot (my personal reco but not for faint of heart) wing 2. They have jumbo wings for you non wing knowing hungry eaters that don't get it, so order that before complaining, you're just getting an inferior wing but can enjoy their incredible sauces that way Sorry, I'm a wing snob and I'm riled up at poor reviews from non wing knowers, who are the reason why we as a country are losing ground on good Buffalo wings. They're going extinct because of viewpoints like some of what I see on here. Go to KFC if you're gonna hate, don't bring a good business down (also please note I'm being jestful in tone if you can't parse through, but I'm also serious). Second - really great other options including Buffalo tenders, cheesesteaks are great, some fish options (Buffalo shrimp of course!). But again, for true wing enthusiasts, this is my WING OF THE YEAR for 2023 and beyond. Also very friendly customer service there, clearly good people. Comfortable vibe inside, kind of diner type feel, the right feel for a true wing spot. Clean bathrooms. I ate these wings 4 hours ago and now writing about it and all I want to do is drive the 50 minutes back to get more. *****
