Let me start by saying, I am not a pizza fan. I do not normally eat pizza. Tonight I decided to surprise my hubs with a all meats, medium sized pizza ($18.99) and I got myself a BBQ chicken and bacon pizza ($14.25). My daughter ordered the BBQ pizza before and I liked it. I ordered my pizza online through Papa Johns app. It was very simple to figure out. I feel like it is over priced but you only live once. The pizza was delivered by Chris in less than 1 hour. Chris was friendly, courteous and on time. I was not expecting an unlabeled car to show up but that's ok. Other than the price, my biggest pet peeve is when people deliver food and do not bring napkins. Call me crazy, but it bothers me. Thank you Chris! You are truly appreciated! We ordered the SHAQ-A-RONI PIZZA. It was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Even a frozen pizza would have been better. It did have plenty of pepperoni, but there was hardly any cheese. It really didn't matter because it was horrible. The crust was like a soggy cracker. The sauce was terrible. I will never get anything from Papa John's again. Then as the result of another error, we were assured of a free pizza and this guarantee would be input into their system. Poor customer service = poor management. On the phone, I asked for the large 3 topping pizza special. The clerk asked which 3 toppings and I said, "make all 3 of them pepperoni." This led to a prolonged conversation in which I had to keep explaining that I was ordering one pizza with 3 toppings, not 3 pepperoni pizzas. When I arrived, an earring wearing man, working the cash register, just looked at me. Evidently, he had no intention of asking if he could help me, so I politely gave him my name and told him what I had ordered. I order pizza from this location about once a month for the last 3-4 years. Today was my first time picking up carryout though. There were about 6 employees working at 4pm on Thursday Feb 15, which is probably a slow hour for them, but I was surprised to see no one just standing around, every one of them were doing something - cleaning, folding boxes, helping customers, making pizzas, etc. They were all busy, yet every single one of them took the time to look up and greet me as I walked in the door.
