I love the taste of Papa John's pizza, but I do not like this location. I've lived next to this store for years, and every single time I inevitably come here, they always mess up my order in some way. I've experienced everything from missing toppings, missing items/dipping sauces, cold pizza from delays in delivery, and rude managers putting me off like my complaints aren't a big deal. I think it's gotten to a point where even the staff might remember me and my constant complaints, and they get annoyed by my presence. But I wouldn't need to call and complain all the time if they just got my order right for once...today I finally had the last straw when I ordered a pepperoni stuffed crust pizza and got no pepperoni on my pizza, or inside my crust... How do easily avoidable mistakes like this keep happening so consistently? Either the staff there are not trained to do proper quality checks before sending off orders, there's no coordination between kitchen staff, or they just don't care. This used to be a decent place. Just got back into town, and thought I'd give it another try. How do you send out 2 pizzas with absolutely no sauce on either of them? Unbelievably bad. Several slices didn't even have cheese or toppings on them. I thought that maybe I had accidently clicked no sauce on the order, but I checked and, yep, I ordered normal sauce. Edited: It got even worse. After receiving the email they send to rate your experience, I was contacted by their customer care department. That wanted to have a second chance and gave me a re-do order. They now use DoorDash to deliver. Driver picked up the pizzas, then I was sent a "driver is 4 minutes away" notification. Great! Nope. Driver took my pizzas 20 minutes away to God knows where, got lost out there, and sent me a text that a road was closed, and that's why he's running so late. I waited some more, then finally told him to cancel, because I no longer wanted a pizza that's been driven around for 40 minutes and is STILL not here. Called the store, and they couldn't give a sh*t because "We're not responsible for what the driver does with your pizza when it leaves our store". Wow. And this was a damn RE-DO. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would! Ordered two pizzas this afternoon with breadsticks, extra dipping sauces, two 2-liters, and brownies to be delivered. The order took too long so the store sent it with door dash. Got the two pizzas, brownies, and breadsticks. Did not receive the two 2 liters or the extra dipping sauces. I called the store, spoke to the manager, and he said I can give you a credit or refund your card. The pizzas were luke warm, the one with toppings had minimal toppings, and now I have a box of breadsticks with no sauces to eat with. I had him refund my card but I will not be returning or reordering from this place. He should have offered to have someone redeliver the missing items, since his store messed it up the first time and had to have someone else deliver it for them! This was the absolute worst customer service with a pizza restaurant I have ever had. When placing the order I was informed it would take 55 minutes for delivery, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to receive my order (two large pizza and bread sticks). Due to a staffing issues this does not bother me, however my issue was it was delivered cold and needed to be reheated before eating. The box was stamped that the pizza had been ready for 55 minutes before it was delivered by door dash(meaning it did not sit in the insulated pizza cover). When I wanted to call and talk to a manger, I not so quickly realized speaking to someone was nonexistent anymore. I sat on hold for 20 minutes and was disconnected, upon calling back I reach an order center(3 more separate times) with the same outcome of being put on hold or disconnected. Once again I understand the long wait times, even longer than what I am originally told. I am not okay with receiving cold food and customer service that is nonexistent. Looks like a lot of older reviews so I wanted to hop on here after eating our delicious pizza and give a more recent review for this location. This is the third time we have ordered from this location in the last month (we just moved and babies and unpacking with no help means a few extra pizza nights this month!) Every time, the pizza was great! Took about exactly the estimated time, which for the quality is pretty quick! The delivery driver for our order today (2/25/21) was absolutely the sweetest and so so kind- great manners and was very sweet to our dog who is 130lbs. We definitely will continue to order from this location and hope people look past the reviews which mainly state management issues years ago- the pizza was good and exactly what we expect when ordering our PJ order. read more

They use to be my favorite. I never really had a least favorite but now they have taken they have the honor of being the worst. Ordered two, two topping pizzas and wings. Was told the wait time would be 25-45 minutes. Finally after about 1 hour and 15 minutes later we got our order. It wasn't an employee that delivered but a very underdressed 40 year old lady presented our food with no quality seals on the boxes. All food was room temperature (luke warm at best), wings seemed tiny and undercooked, the extreme amount of cheese covered everything, very little sauce. What the hell is going on up there. It's Papa Johns, so you aren't going to get any surprises here. I always order online and in 15mins my pizza is always ready for pick up. I lived just down 685 and also stayed at the Holiday Inn literally right behind the little strip mall this Papa Johns is in so it was faster (and easier) to just take the two mins to go and pick it up and save myself a delivery fee + tip and the extra 20mins it would have taken for delivery. When I got there, it was a quick and easy in and out (especially if you prepay online), so all in all it is less than 20mins to a hot, delicious, and often cheap pizza! Placed my order at 710pm. Delivery guy arrived at my apartment at 8:10 PM. I asked for easy sauce, it was a five topping pizza, I asked for triple pepperoni mushrooms and peppers. As you can tell there is very little cheese, covered in peppers. I'm just very upset. Called the manager back to ask for another pizza that's going to take 30 more mins. I always come to this spot. We ordered a 5 topping large pizza and an order of buffalo chicken pappadios from here. Our pizza had the 4 veggie toppings but there was not one single piece of the 5th topping - grilled chicken. We were hungry, wanted to give the the store person the benefit of the doubt so ate our meatless pizza. Then we decided to try the pappadios and surprise, surpirse it not only had chicken, it also had an extra ingredient - pork! I made the mistake of giving this Papa John's location several more chances! There is NO consistency in the quality of the pizza and amount of toppings on the pizza although I order the same pizza, The Works, every time. Two weeks ago, the pizza was terrific, tasty, full of toppings and quite flavorful; this week, it appeared as if half the toppings were missing, the pizza was not even cut, and the pepper looked like someone ate half of it. I called and spoke to the manager who offered to remake the pizza or give me back a credit which I elected to do. Needless to say, I have yet to see any credit back on my card. Stay away from this location as there is no consistency so its a toss up what you will actually get. I'v always given this place a pass because honestly, it's fast food. I rarely order for delivery and the couple times I have, the service has been fine. They've always been about on par with Dominos and Pizza Hut in Hutto so i'm not going to complain too much. I recently purchased a discount type card for Papa Johns though and now only do carryout, due to the restrictions of the card. Sunday I ordered some pizzas to be picked up and after leaving the restaurant the person working added a tip to my charge without my authorization. This isn't something that I will tolerate. I am going to call and discuss it with a manager there later today but I can confidently say that I won't be back to this location. read more

I'm writing this because the other night, a young woman delivered a pizza to me. I had accidentally left my friend's old address in the app, sending the pizza to a place that I think it's currently empty. She called me, got the right address, and was on her way. She got hit by a car and still delivered my pizza. At this store, people get in accidents and still do their jobs, offering in store credit for your own blunder and shrugging off a car accident. We happened to be in the area and needed to suppress our appetite and children's thus we stumbled on this Papa John's (behind Sonic) and it did just that. We ordered the special: $10.00 large and garlic parmesan breadsticks (additional cost, not part of the special). Our order was ready in less than 15 minutes; we even watched them hand-flip the dough.
