Anthony's pizza is so good! By far the best pizza north of Austin. Hutto is lucky to have a place…read morelike this. The ingredients are high quality, the crust is thin & delicious. Feels like you're in NYC eating an amazing slice. Today, we had the pleasure of trying a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were a nice surprise, because honestly, I thought the only pizza option in Forest Creek/Round Rock/Hutto was Mr. Gattis. Can't wait to try more of Anthony's pizza. This place is a gem. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should!

It's a local mom and pop establishment from looking from the outside, but was confirmed clearly it was from staff. Not sure where I want to begin. I'll start with the food. I got the lunch special. 1 slice, 3 knots and a drink. They were "short stocked" on drinks so only had 3 choices. Beverage was in a bottle and was not cold. I was told they had no ice either. I got the mushroom and spinach slice. The toppings and sauce were very good however the crust was black and burnt on the bottom so I just picked off the toppings. The same with the garlic knots too. You can see in the photo too. The marinara dipping sauce was cold and was told they do not do warm dipping sauce. I do believe if the pizza and the knots were not burnt, they would have been enjoyable. I am not sure if management reads this but your staff does like you very much. However, you might want to let them know discussing other employees and past employees love lives, jail records, arrest records, making fun of someone's disabilities is not ok in the workplace let alone with customers in the restaurant. I learned wayyyyy too much about the "person" that just got fired and their age and why they were arrested and closing up your restaurant an hour early. I felt extremely uncomfortable having to listen to this!

I feel like this review has to come now before it never has a chance to exist again. I'm always…read moreheartbroken to find out a place is closing its doors, especially a local business. Earlier this week, East Street Pizzeria announced on social media that they were closing up shop permanently. I feel at times guilty for things like this when I'm not the root cause. If only I came back more, they would've survived, but I probably would've just been more devastated at their closure. Hutto has a lot of pizza establishments. From the chains like Pizza Hut and Domino's to lesser-known locations like Mr. Gatti's and Double Dave's, as well as the locals Bella Sicilia and East Street, there are nine pizza establishments in the city limits and three in the ETJ. For a city with only one grocery store (also in the ETJ), it's a lot of competition. All of the chains are carry-out only and operate in a shotgun house sized unit in a strip. The only places you can actually eat a pizza are MOD and the two local establishments. East Street shows something that is plaguing Hutto: the overreliance on chain restaurants. Chains don't care if you skip them for a local place. A local place needs your business or they might shutter their doors forever. East Street itself is difficult real estate with the rent reportedly being high, meaning these small establishments have to operate at a high enough margin to survive in such a beautiful area. That's why so many businesses are opting for the Affordable Storage shopping area in the ETJ, because the barrier to entry is lower and actually allows them to survive. It's sad to see. I only ate at East Street Pizzeria once. When I was visiting Hutto before moving, I thought about going and trying their pizza (I love a local place), but it was completely empty, so I opted for another local place. A few months into living in Hutto, I went back with a co-worker during lunch. I got my slice and a salad, and I was impressed. It was your standard local affair (good local pizza is better than any chain), and the slice was cheesy and well done. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The owner was super attentive to us, and it was a quick and easy meal. I wanted to go back, but I never did. That's my fault. I haven't supported any chain pizza joints in Hutto, but I'm an outlier. If 12 (now 11) pizza establishments can exist in the Hutto area, maybe the consumer preference is out of whack. Support local, because local will always support you. RIP East Street Pizzeria. RIYL: Grieving since you can't actually go here.

I will come back for the pizza and wings but please work on the ranch recipe! Texans like to dip pizza in ranch. Its important:) We did try a dessert one of the times we visited and it took quite a long time to come out and was frozen so I think they are on to something here with the main food but the extras are a little lacking. The restaurant is in an old historic building so it has some warm vibes and was set up cute for Christmas!

Had a cauliflower crust pizza (my new favorite in the area) with burrata and pepperoni. Also ordered a mini Sicilian with pepperoni... delicious. Crust was super light and didn't disappoint. Our only comment was on temperature in restaurant (pizza oven in front, 100 degrees outside, no shades) left it pretty toasty. Some shades or tint might help with temp! Not scoring down for this because everything else was exceptional! Can't wait to come back and or have food delivered! Thank you!

Amazing fresh cheese all the ingredients from the toppings to the onions to the pepperoni to the different types of cheeses all on that amazing fresh crust the dough is incredible. Let's start with the pros and then I'll list the cons. I gave my review a four out of five because it frankly has more pros and cons. Pros: Amazing thin crust with no flop Fresh crispy undercarriage Dough is light and crispy Plenty of cheese on all the pizzas Each ingredient on each pizza you can taste on its own Cons: The garlic knots didn't have a strong enough garlic flavor The marinara sauce was too watery The Sicilia Panino sandwich to me, didn't have the price it cost vs the value. It cost too much versus the value that I received. It just didn't have enough meat to arugula to bread ratio it was off. I wish it had more of that white sauce. Incredible bread though. The supreme pizza in my opinion is the best out of the three. The supreme pizza had more toppings. You can really taste each ingredient in the overall American cheese on top was a nice contrast to the other two pizzas that tend to have more white cheese plus you can taste sausage. The diavola is a straight cheese, pepperoni pizza. Love the amount of ingredients on top. I appreciate the sliced meats and the cheese was great. The burrata had to be my least favorite because the mozzarella on top melted and it sort of got all over the pizza and leaked out the box. I was hoping the mozz would hold its shape but it's fine. To me the sauce underneath was not tasteful enough because I couldn't taste the sauce. I wish it had more sliced proscuitto. Overall great experience and I ended up having a food, and I went to bed

The mozzarella sticks have to be one of the top sticks I've had in Austin compared to all restaurants that serve the dish. The cheese for some reason really tasted fresh, not too oily which I was surprised with, nice crispy crunchy exterior. To have creamy, tart, crunchy, all at once, plus dipped in the house marinara sauce is a big A+ Love the pizza combo, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Me personally, I feel the best way to grade pizza is to try the margherita. If it's good, then every other pizza should be good. Why? The margherita is a classic and if you can get the classic correct, then you can get everything else correct. Yes! They got it correct Great flavors of the creamy cheese, crispy, crunchy ultrathin crust, flaky, buttery, airy crust. Fresh vegetables and the pepperoni was awesome. I tried the lasagna and it was great but could be better. I was a little surprised that the sauce actually broke. It was too watery so I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting lasagna to be sort of heavy thick tomato sauce but it was thin and light. Got on my shirt. But hey who cares? It tasted good. Fresh ground beef, tangy tomato sauce, nice cheese on top. Shoutout to Kolten, our server. It was my first time at Tony Cs and I'll come back again. He explained the beers on tap, the menu, very friendly.

I was super grateful that they were able to do that for us considering we (unknowingly) called just minutes after they closed. I live for the Margherita pizza! It's like a traditional pie but where you usually get a Margherita on a thin dough with no crust on the edge- this one has it a thicker crust! I LOVE crust so this perfectly encompasses everything I love in a pizza. This time around we ordered the cheese pizza also and it was super delicious- very standard but what I loved is it wasn't super greasy!
