I placed an order trying to take advantage of the "late night special" advertised on the app. Turns out if you place an order at 10:35, it's "company policy" that they can't make money from anyone not using a 3rd party to order food after 10:30 according to the person who answered the phone when I called to find out why my order was cancelled. I even left a tip because I don't like ordering food within 1 hour of any business closing. But I got into town late, and nothing else was open besides McDonalds. And no thank you. So instead of eating anything at all, my order was cancelled because I ordered through the Papa John's app?? If I were the franchise owner, I'd be pretty upset the staff working the late shift is turning away business. And don't bother going online to complain. The "customer service" link didn't work . I have ordered delivery from Papa Johns in Kinston for several years. EVERY SINGLE order, the delivery driver has forgotten part of my order. After getting fed up and contacting management and complaining, only a week later, my very next order was still wrong. Again, the delivery driver forgot part of my order and had to go back. This will be an approximately 30 minute turn around time and my food will be cold. I will no longer order from Papa Johns. This place is ghetto and ran down. I wouldnt even let my dog eat here. Employees hygene doesnt look up to par. They have filthy clothes on, all outside smoking and then preceed to make food. TERRIBLE! Rude, late, and unprofessional. Delivery took nearly an hour. When the pizza arrived it was a medium disguised as a large and they did not bring my 2 liter and a few other items. When I called the restaurant to complain about not having all my order, I am told by Marcus that I received all my order because the driver said I did. I DON'T THINK SO. After assuring them I did not get anything but pizza, they told me that she would be right out with my Sunkist and the rest of my items. This is by far the worst place to order food from and eat. For starters the sign is in horrible shape and looks like it could fall down at any moment. The so called general manager is highly rude. They fire people for absolutely stupid reasons. Seems like when gm has to do work she gets a complete attitude with customers. Never has a smile on her face.
