I placed an order from Papa Johns that was delivered by DoorDash, that arrived incorrect -- the order appeared mixed with someone else's (half mine, half not). To their credit, the DoorDash driver returned it to the store and brought back the correct order, minus a couple of sauce cups that I was willing to overlook. **The delivery driver and store staff did correct the problem and the pizza itself was good.** However, the follow-up experience was unacceptable, which is the sole reason for the 2 star review. I left a review and requested a manager call because I wanted to praise the store staff for fixing the issue and raise awareness that the call center had misrepresented itself by claiming they were "in the back of the store," which clearly wasn't accurate. Nick, who identified himself as the general manager, called me. From the start he was aggressive and dismissive. He repeatedly interrupted me and stated he "doesn't need all that," refusing to let me explain the situation. As a result, I never even had the opportunity to share the compliment about the staff who actually resolved the problem. Instead, he abruptly refunded my entire order -- something I never asked for. All I wanted was a manager willing to listen to both a compliment and a concern. This interaction reflects poorly on upper management. The frontline staff and driver corrected the mistake and did their jobs well, but the general manager's attitude and the misleading call center experience completely undermined that effort. This place is a disaster. We've ordered from here 3 times. Tonight was the last time I'll try it. Each time the pizza has been a mess. Barely warm. Takes the delivery forever to arrive. Tonight, specifically, they passed off my food to a DoorDash driver who wasn't able to get onto base to deliver our pizza. He took the food back to Papa John's who was supposed to deliver our food again. It just never even showed up. At least they cancelled the order. Lady I spoke to on the phone said "If the charge doesn't go off your account, file a complaint with your credit card company." Yikes! When I say order pizza from ANYWHERE else, I mean it. Let me start off by saying I do like papa johns, however my last couple experiences are having me reconsider where I want to get my pizza. I received coupons/promo codes for teacher appreciation week, a sheet of 16 or so promos and I've only used two of them. When I try to use them online, I get the error code to sign in, I sign in and still error. I call the local store and get a call center asking for my order and then my promo code, they say they can't do promos over the phone in the call center and need to transfer me to the store. They transfer me and the store hangs up on me TWICE! I called them twice and went through the call center, transfer game TWICE. That's ridiculous!! I used to work in a restaurant I understand it can be busy, but you still have to pick up the phone even if to put them on hold for a minute. Hanging up on the customer is not okay!! Both of the two orders I have placed in the past have followed this trend. If this is how people are treated just trying to order something, I'll go somewhere else in the future. read more

I like my pizza crust crunchy so I ordered "well done". I received a burnt pizza. Crust and some of the cheese was black. So I called and told them about it. The lady asked me if I wanted to get the money credited or get a new one. I told her, I'd like a new one. She then rudely told me it'd take 45 minutes and hung up without another word said. I ordered a pizza from #1738 and when the pizza was delivered it was the wrong pizza. I called and asked for a Mgr whom Chris stated he was one of the Mgrs. He stated that he tried calling the driver but he didn't answer. So the driver had to return with the correct pizza which was cold and to top it off he didn't even show up with anything extra! I've been in Management for over 30 years and although I wasn't looking for anything free, but if the driver would have showed up with as much as a bottle of water it would have turned my emotions around. Have been ordering from this location for about 12 months now. The quality in service delivery has definitely degraded in that time. In the past few months, there's been an issue with missing items from each of the deliveries. Have filed previous official complaints before to no avail. Even the free redemption items that they offer as an apology have delivery issues! Steer clear of this location until they rectify their issues with attention to detail. Pretty good pizza especially for the price. Tried several pizza joints in the area and so far their pizza is very good. We had it delivered but it came hot and tasted fresh and not cardboard. We had pepperoni and cheese and it didn't last long. read more

Not sure what's going on at this store. The past 5 times I've ordered from this location they've messed up the sides. My last order, 1 Oct 19, they completely left out the sauce with the breadsticks. I have a feeling my account is tagged when I order online and this is some kind of game for the staff. Which in the end is my bad because I keep tipping the drivers so there's no incentive to chance. I've called to ask about the issue on the past 3 orders and it's become obvious they don't want to talk about it or fix it. Great pizza and even better customer service tonight. I ordered a pizza and a soda, when the driver showed up he had a diet instead of regular apparently I orders wrong. The driver took it back and promptly returned with a regular soda like I wanted but didn't order with a smile. I will order fr them again. read more

We used our discount card we rexeived from the hotel to get our dinner tonight. Pizza was decent. We havent had papa johns since we moved out of California. We had it delivered to our door here at the hotel. Convient since we didnt want to be in the car any more than we had to today. read more

The employees don't follow any kind of sanitary guidelines. I went in to pick up my pizza the other day (first time eating here) and witnessed a lot of red flags that caused me to throw my pizzas out immediately after I walked out. There were three employees making pizzas with NO gloves, NO hair net (two of them have long hair that was hanging over the food and just whipping every which way), and touching other objects like the phones and computers without washing their hands before returning to making pizza. One lady one at least three occasions wiped her forehead and back of her pants, and kept making pizza with no gloves or washing. The guy making the boxes was sneezing and coughing into his hand, and continued making boxes without washing or sanitizing! The Alexa reminder to clean the place was unplugged by the young lady working the phones, and NOBODY cleaned. This COVID outbreak is bad but aside from the pandemic, these are just horrible habits, outbreak or not! read more

The person who took our order sounded like he was training, however he was polite and gave us the info we needed. The pizza was delivered on time in fact a little earlier than expected. The delivery person was very nice and the pizza was hot and Delicious and was what we had ordered. Great job. Keep up the great work. . Thank you. read more

So Papa John's Pizza is around the corner from my house, so you would think it would be convenient. Tonight is the fourth and last time I will ever order pizza from this location. I ordered a pizza online and was told it would take 45 to 55 minutes to be ready. First off, Dominos and Pizza Hut nearby take only about 20 minutes to prepare and order. We showed up in about 50 minutes and the guy at the register took my payment took a phone call and gave us no info about our order. We waited patiently for about 20 minutes and it was obviously backed up. I went back up to inquire about our pizza and we were told, oops, it was ready when we showed up. Obviously, it was cold by now and no apologies were offered. I decided to buy a soda and paid the guy and again he got on the phone and ignored me while I waited for him to unlock the soda cooler. From now on I will go the extra few blocks to get better service and pizza from Domino's or Pizza Hut. read more

Will never order from them again. Twice I ordered pizzas for pick-up and both times I had to wait way over the time it was supposed to take. Once, it was over an hour and a half before I gave up and left. It was during a storm that had the power out in parts of town so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I tried them again and almost the same thing happened, it took an hour from the time I called until I got my pizza and it wasn't a special day or sports thing or anything, just slow. read more
