The Mother working seemed to be by herself and despite how hard I imagine that to be, she was pleasant, hard working and our order was made exactly as we asked for it! I wish I had gotten her name, but know she is one awesome worker!! We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, the Italian sandwich, the avo-chopped salad, chips and a pickle. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We ordered online through the Pickleman's website and used their delivery option. The order was "delivered" but not to the correct address. We put a specific address but the restaurant claimed we put a different address. On our order confirmation, it shows the specified address, but the restaurant continued to claim it was a different address. I understand accidents happen, but we thoroughly explained the situation and since we ordered it through the verified website, we thought it was appropriate if a refund was issued or the food was redelivered. The employees said they were unable to do either and kept redirecting us to their general manager. We called multiple times to figure out the situation and the employees continued to be extremely rude and condescending in explaining their perspectives. Their tone of voices were unfriendly and rude. We do NOT recommend Pickleman's due to their poor delivery services, problem-solving skills, and lacking of professional communication skills. read more

This place has good customer service but I gave them a maybe because they don't wash their hands. They literally have a sink that says " employees must wash those hands" but they don't. They touch payments apply gloves, sweep and mop and apply gloves. I never once say anyone was their hands. read more

Visited this location recently for a Turkey Bacon Ranch sub, chips, and a drink. It came to $14.50 for the whole thing. And, like many other sandwich places, there are tip buttons if you feel so inclined. Frankly, I think that's expensive for a sub, and everything is al-la-carte. OK I know we are now experiencing the highest inflation than we have in years, but compared to the other guys, it's a couple bucks or more higher. The few staff were busy working phone orders and the sandwiches were stacking up after they came out of the oven. My sandwich was good, but I thought smaller in size. This place has the best sandwiches. They add the meat and cheese then pass it through a warmer. Toppings are put on after... you can get it as the menu says or top it your way. The peppers are great and have a little heat to them. Reminds me of a Chicago deli. There's plenty of seating and nice large windows to look outside. I came into Pickleman's to treat my friend for lunch . She has never tried pickleman's before and I wanted to convince her that it was a healthy and tasty choice. As I walked in we proceeded to go to the counter and I was greeted by an elderly white male who was very rude. He asked us what we wanted as we were looking above at the menu. I stated that we were going to look for a second. I hand my friend the phone with the menu on it since she couldn't make out the small print. I quickly ran to the latrine because we had been on the road all day and we stopped in for lunch. When I returned I asked the woman at the front if I could have the code for the latrine, with my wallet in hand. The elderly man "Chris" quickly interrupted her as stated that only paying customers can have the code. I restated to him that I am buying two meals I just have to utilize the latrine as my friend is picking out her meal. I in no way look homeless or anything of that nature. I noticed from the beginning his disgusted look when we entered but I ignored it. Not knowing he would act on his emotions. I stated 4 times that I was already buying food, which he already knew. I then began to close my wallet and stated that I would just eat somewhere else. I didn't trust that he wouldn't spit in my food after seeing the amount of rage in his eyes toward us. I very kindly asked him for his name and store number and he stated that "it's on the fucking door, now get the hell out of here". I was completely shell shocked when he responded in that way. He proceeded to tell me repeatedly to "get the fuck out of his store". I asked for his manager and he brings me this lady and she stated to me that he was her manager and she was not his. She then stated to leave a complaint online because he does this to "several" people. The officer on duty stated that he was heard several complaints about this man for this same kind of situation. I am a decorated veteran who gave my life to fight for people like him. I have never been more embarrassed. I have never experienced racism in a public setting. Nor would I believe that it's that alive in today working as a manager at picklemans. I very polite there were 4 other women seated at a table when we entered and the we very shocked as well at his responses to be and my friend. Im not sure if it was a discrimination toward lesbian women or black Americans in general but I have never witnessed such disrespect. My friend says she that experience really ruined her chances of ever coming there again. She didn't even get to try the food. This man needs to be removed immediately. read more

Sunday afternoon review: went for lunch. I think they have the most friendly sandwich shops staff possible. These guys really seem to enjoy their work. Pretty good after a night out since they're open rather late. Or even in between stops to get some food in you. Fast service, and you have to show the receipt at the security guard before the bathrooms as they do not allow you to use them unless you're a paying customer. Let me first start by saying that this would be more of a 2.5 star review if I could choose that as an option. Here's why... PROS: 1) the amount of vegetarian items available on the menu. The veggie sandwich is great, as are the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and salads. The pizza is even good. 2) they are open until midnight on weekdays and 4 AM on Friday and Saturday. 3) there are healthier options than most delivery places 4) they deliver CONS: 1) don't order too much, as they are apt forget part of your order or mess it up otherwise. That being said, I've placed both large and small orders, and somehow there's always at least one missing item (usually salad dressing or sides). 2) their delivery people are slow and confused at times. One time the driver showed up and didn't have ANY change on him. So basically, we had to give him $20 for a $14ish order... and it was missing items. He made off with a $6 tip for a messed up order--and the sandwich was soggy! Use a credit card if you can to avoid this. 3) their website is F'd up. I work at a large hospital to which they deliver all the time. However, when I type in the basic address (one that works for every other delivery service), it says it's not in their delivery area. See aforementioned item #1 and it's not hard to see why they always seem to mess up orders. Overall, I really do enjoy the food. Unfortunately I work nights and I'm not able to leave my job to go there myself. Maybe the in store option is better. read more

YUM! I ordered the half sandwich half salad. My turkey bacon toasted sandwich was perfect! I forget how their toasted bread makes such a difference! I've heard a lot of great things about Pickleman's and was excited to try one of their hot sandwiches on a cold, January's day. This Pickleman's location was clean and the guy working there were friendly enough, although the one making our sandwiches seemed a little lost. Prior to receiving my sandwich, I went to the bathroom and found zero toilet paper or paper towels. Yikes. My order of a meatball sub was a little sloppy, but tasted decent. I'm not sure if I would order it again. I'd definitely consider coming back if I were to order something different. Overall, I would rate my experience as average.
