Pizza is great!! I love the build your own,you can put whatever you want on it. The pizza crust is crunchy and flavorful and tastes so good!! I never tried the salads but it's the same that you can put whatever you want on it. The no name cake for dessert is like Hostess Ding Dong's but tastes 1000% better!!! Lots of options and food is fantastic!!! Give it a try!!

Visiting at noon on Monday, this location was plenty busy and nearly overwhelmed. Despite this, my wait time was decent and my pizza was very tasty. I ordered a seasonal Cheesy Backyard Burger pizza, which I thought was especially good. I also enjoyed a free "no name" dessert for signing up on the app. It's a chocolate cake with creme in the middle. I personally am glad I didn't buy the thing. Each time I have been to this location, the pizza and service has been very satisfactory. Compared to national brick-oven pizza chains, you should be pretty satisfied at this location when you consider service, price, and portion.

What I came up with, which was good but took a bit to order.

Let's get to the point. The food was actually really good, the ordering was and is a train wreck. If you know what you want, or have some time.. great.. If you like confusion, asking about everything as no ingredients were labeled.. then.. Have at it. Think Subway or Chipotle for pizza. Which isn't a bad concept, but the problem is none of the ingredients are labeled. They said, add whatever you would like... so.. how do I know what you have? Is there a list? Which was asked.. They said, "No, we used to have labels but they aren't up now." What!?!? Um..Ok...? Yes, I know what mozzarella cheese looks like and peperoni and guess what, I even know what an olive looks like! But when there are multiples of cheese, multiples of meat crumbles and then the person asks me, "What kind of cheese/meat do you want...!?" Um.. as I stated, "I don't know. What kind DO YOU HAVE!?" Come on people. They need to have a printed off menu or large sign of everything you offer. Don't force people to guess or ask every time. That is inefficient and rude for everyone. I noticed the ordering took a long time for everyone, and it just builds up and other people are waiting on you because you have no clue what all they offer. It's a mess.. SO.. once that is done.. The pizza was really good! hahaha. I do wish mine could have been cooked longer, and maybe I can ask for that.. if I ever go back. But it was seriously good. Everyone I was with (four others) liked the pizza. Food 4+ stars, ordering 1 to 2 stars. I do feel they are a touch high, but it was a tasty pizza. Just take care of that ordering process!!! By far, the best LLC I've eaten at in awhile.

Dairy-free cheese and meat-free options were available and the pizza was very tasty. My biggest complaint is that the girl helping us seemed very irritated in helping us with our order and proceeded to yell across the restaurant (though she was standing right in front of us) "we cannot guarantee our pizzas are diary free because of the way they come out of the oven, so don't sue us!" I thought this behavior was quite rude and a bit embarrassing for me! This same girl had helped my sister with her order just before me (my sister also enjoys a plant based diet) and she had ordered a vegetarian pizza with dairy free cheese and ended up with a piece of bacon on her pizza. Coincidence? We'll never know.

I got home from work tonight old, grumpy and crusty! So, I decided to try a pizza parlor that I had never been to. MOD is located in Antioch Crossing a short distance from where I live. Stepping up to the counter, I pull out my list of toppings and place my order. In just a few moments I heard my name called and I picked up, what I would describe as, a very tasty pizza. On original crust I added red sauce, assaggio cheese, artichokes, black olives, green peppers, jalapenos peppers, pepperoni, ground beef, and hot Italian sausage. The crust was perfectly golden brown with a little flakiness to it. The red sauce had good flavor and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I can assure you I did not leave hungry! When I left I was still old but nowhere near as grumpy and crusty! Well Done Mod Pizza!

It took me a while to try MOD out because I'm lactose intolerant, so I can't have cheese, which is always on pizza. But MOD has dairy free cheese! A game changer for those who have dairy allergies or vegans. Anyways, it's delicious & not very expensive. A MOD pizza is filling enough for me & I've never finished a whole pizza in one sitting! It tastes great when you have to reheat it in the microwave too!

If you like pizza, check out MOD Pizza at Antioch Crossing. A community mall property was redeveloped over the past few years and now features a selection of retail and dining businesses. Ample parking nearby. MOD Pizza is a chain of quick service, build your own pizza business. Don't let quick service suggest low quality. This location had a great selection of fresh ingredients to help you become a primo pizza producer. The concept is easy. They have a short list of classic pizzas with fun names. There is a large display board with these pizza types and ingredient listing, along with their seasonal pizza, salad options and a team favorite. Select your pizza size and the team is ready to help you create your best pizza. Choose from sauces, seasonings and toppings. Any toppings for the same price! After passing the creation line, we picked up beverages and made our way to the point of sale to pay. A well thought out plan to funnel customers through the line. We noticed the team were accurate and friendly. No idle waiting for employees. They move fast to get the orders to hungry customers. The pizza was tasty! I ordered a MOD with red sauce, mozzarella, basil, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, mushrooms and pineapple. The crust was perfect and the cheese was melted to perfection. Ample seating for what looks like a small site. Fun and funky design throughout the space features a record art display and photos of patrons and employees from their various locations. To cut down on the need for table service, this location has a beverage fountain and flatware station. Grab a spare plate, silverware, seasoning and cheese before you dive into your pizza. If you love pizza, there are so many possibilities for building your next pizza. I look forward to trying this location again!

I ordered a cider and they brought me out 1/2 a glass. The keg was empty and he figured I could at least try it. It was good, so I appreciate what I got. We got some appetizers. The Cesar salad was fresh and crisp. La Capra E Il Maiale was awesome! It was baked goat cheese and pepperoni with flatbread. Absolute flavor explosion! The pizzas... so great! We got a hot honey pepperoni and a Mortaza. Both were baked beautifully, the cheese blends were spectacular, and the toppings were ultra fresh. I left happy and full! Great service, great food!

It's pretty lively--which is to say that it's not a quiet, romantic sort of setting, so don't expect to have a sweet heart-to-heart convo over your pie. (Can this be the same place other reviewers are calling "upscale"? The menu is laminated, the chairs are industrial metal, and the floor is concrete. The server's wearing a hoodie.) The table next to us included two kiddos who played with electronic devices with the volume on, and staff made no move to stop them. We were seated at a table near the front door and didn't see the bar area until after we finished dinner; it's likely more intimate. The beer list is pretty short--the usual big names and a smattering of local craft brews. There are several spritzes and a few house cocktails on the menu, as well as a decent wine selection. We had craft beers and they were served good and cold. The menu also includes cane sugar sodas and Pepsi produts. Like most pizza places lately, there's no option for a small hot meal, especially if you want protein included--just a whole pizza (of which I'd eat less than half) or a salad. So I had a half salad, my mate had a pizza, and I had a slice of that as well. The crust is excellent; sauce and toppings are tasty as well. Il Lazzarone looks like a good place to share pizzas if you're with folks who can agree on toppings! It's a stable, reliable place to pop into if you're in the area.
