Service could have been better for takeout 5/11/25. Not sure why I was ignored by the person behind the counter for an uncomfortable amount of time. I placed an order online that was a BOGO. I planned to tip in person when I picked up the pies. My order was the only one waiting on the shelf to be picked up. Yet, the person behind the counter acted like I wasn't there even though he clearly saw me come in. I put tip in jar but wish that I was treated more courteously. read more

Food came 20-30 min late. When I called to check the status, an automated message came on saying they are delayed. When I called back and spoke to a person, I was informed, only then, about a flat tire. However, when the driver finally arrived, there was no mention of it? This experience reminded me of why I stopped ordering delivery over 20 years ago. A call/text/email of the delay would've helped lessen the blow. read more

I was a regular customer and was happy with the quality of the food until a few months ago. I wanted to think maybe it was just a bad day so kept returning getting pizza that was poor. I pick up pizza for folks at a local Nursing home when the offered meal isn't liked. I felt bad when they started to complain because they always had a good pizza in the past. Part of the problem is a tip is expected even when you pick up the pizza yourself. Sadly no more Papa Johns. read more

If you ever visit beautiful Lee, Ma, you really need to make time for dinner at Timothy's. My wife and I went to Boston and western MA on vacation and I was going to eat them out of seafood. When my wife (a vegetarian) wanted Italian one night, I went "huh". But we tried Timothy's and got the best of both worlds. I got my seafood casserole (tender sea scallops, shrimp & cod baked in lemon & white wine topped with homemade seafood stuffing), and my wife had a giant plate of pasta with very tasty sauce. The bread was great, the salads were great, and if you happen to get Kim as a server, your night will be complete with entertainment. I would give 0 stars if allowed. Don't bother with rewards points. Order all you want but don't count on getting your rewards order. You call, they say call their 1800 number, I did that and the customer service rep wouldn't know where his head was if not attached to his body. I'll order from Dominos or Pizza Hut from now on. The foods not as good but at least I can actually redeem rewards points and I get what I ordered. And, on the rare occasion where they make a mistake...they will actually correct the problem. We called Papa Johns to ordered a pizza delivered and we were told they only delivered less than a mile to our home. I was ok with that as in the past we have had other deliveries meet us to pick up the pizza. When we called Papa John's they refused to do the delivery even after we gave our phone, address and credit card. We received no explanation as to why they wouldn't do it but I know that we will not be going to this location ever again. Its too bad they don't care enough to work for their business. Let me tell you story: My wife and I visit the Berkshires for the first time as a Living Social B&B trip. It snows like a demon and our gmapped 3-hour trip turns into 7-and-a-half hour nightmare, on sparsely plowed roads, in a car with no snow tires, rolling 20 miles an hour in the dark. When we got to the B&B, cold, wet, and starving, we called up every restaurant we could find and NO ONE would deliver. Same reasons: they were either closing, we were out of range of the delivery, or the weather was too awful. But ALL of them recommended the same thing, in a SCOFFING tone: "You could always try Papa John's. Maybe THEY'll deliver". My wife and I don't really eat dairy so calling a pizza place has been our last option. But between that and go hungry, we said F-it and let's try although by now it must be too late, too far, or too bad out. First off, the woman on the phone was mega-accommodating, and pleasant. Non-cheese pizza with extra sauce? No problem. Portabello mushrooms? No worries. The bread is oil-based, not dairy? They're on it. They have our number, and can find out B&B? Wow, that actually was badass service. Thank you order-taking person. Second, the Driver said he could deliver (even though they're in Lenox, and we were staying at the Apple Tree Inn which apparently is like 2 towns over - 45 minutes - in the snow). Dude showed up on time, found our B&B, and delivered cheerfully like a pro. I tipped him extra but a driver like that probably does it for the glory, and not the stacks-on-stacks-on-stacks, how badass he was. Third, the food was actually pretty damn tasty. They put on extra sauce, the pizza was freshly made, and the mushrooms were the right texture and flavor. You could tell it was just made and rightly done. So BAM, Papa J is mic-dropping. I haven't ordered from you since college, but when the chips are down and the snow is heavy, it's good to know you folks roll deep in the Berkshires. Did a delivery order from them and they forgot the pepperoni on the pizza. Called up hoping to get it fixed, was accused of not being able to tell if pepperoni was on the pizza and that I was lying. They demanded the pizza back, because apparently the customer cannot be trusted, for me to get a new one. I did not care about giving the pizza back, did not want it but really? Will never do business there again now. read more

This was my first Papa Johns experience, but I had heard good things about other locations and had high hopes. My hopes were dashed. - The driver got lost and called me 4 times trying to find his way. No exaggeration! I live less than a quarter mile from their location. - The "thin" pizza crust was so overcooked that it cracked when we picked up a slice. - The toppings (mushrooms and onions) were so sparse they could barely be detected. - The cheese was also very stingy. - The sauce wasn't all that good either. We ordered the standard amounts of everything. Maybe by ordering "extra" amounts, at higher prices, you can build a normal pizza. But why should you need to? The place is new, so perhaps they're not in their groove yet. I wish them well, and will try again in a month or so, but for now they get a well-deserved one star. read more

I'm a pizza snob from NY so take this for what it is. It's good pizza for late night runs when you've had some beers. The drive through is very convenient and the staff is friendly. The reason for the low rating is because the pizza is generic. It's good, but not amazing. read more

As far as take-out and delivery pizza goes, this is as good as it gets. The many pizzas I have ordered have always arrived hot and intact. The ingredients always seem fresh, especially the amazing bacon which is crisp and tastes nicely like maple, even on delivery. Every employee I have interacted with has been friendly and respectful, even when I've pulled such numbers as making a large order 5 minutes before closing time, or called back and completely changed around an order a few minutes after placing it. I read the only other review of this new location hear on Yelp! and, although I have not ordered the thin crust, I know that his experience seems uncharacteristic. I have a lot of experience with this Papa John's it has quickly become my go-to midnight snack/party night favorite. I also have to say that the other reviewer's line about how the driver got lost, seems to be the only fault I'd have with the place, although he seems to forget that we live in the Berkshires, the land of unlit mountain roads and unmarked or numbered houses. My many experiences with this Papa John's do not match up with his, as after just one phone call at each new location, the driver was able to easily find us. I also have to compliment the cleanliness of the kitchen. Every time you walk in you can see the entire, impressively clean kitchen, and it inspires me greatly to see the employees working on each pizza in a clean and fresh environment. read more

I had a very bad experience with the staff at this franchise location. Long story short we ordered two BBQ chicken pizzas not knowing that we had to specify no onion when we didn't ask for it . When we realized the pizzas had onion (like 5 mins later) I called and asked if they could re-make them. The man on the phone said no he couldn't so I asked for my $ back and he said that wasn't store policy so I asked to talk to a manager. He said there wasn't one there but that he could credit my account with two complimentary pizzas to redeem on our next visit (we are regulars) so I agreed. Didn't really wanna wait 20 more mins for new pizzas anyway. When we ordered two more and went back to pick them up (40 mins one way...we are from Nassau NY!) we were told that there wasn't a note on our account. The owner offered us two pizzas for the price of one if we had ordered by phone...$15.00 ... But we ordered online two for $20 (the deals are better online) so basically $5 off. :( We left and went home but I decided to call and get the name of the woman I talked to so I could make a complaint. When the owner got on the phone she told me that she felt it was my fault that I got onion on my pizzas because I didn't specify no onion and that she felt my "story" had discrepancies... Basically she thought I was lying. She said what she offered was fair. I disagree. She hired the idiot that was too lazy to re-make my two stupid pizzas and decided to lie to me to get me to go away instead. Frankly I'm insulted that she thinks I would spend my effort and time trying to F- her out of two lousy pizzas! How she handled this was by blaming everything on me and now I'm going to tell anyone who will listen about my experience with her and her staff. read more
