Okay, so great - unlimited toppings? Right? Wrong. The toppings don't really matter when the thin, & I do mean thin crust, is a tasteless cardboard like substance. All the toppings in the world can't turn a bad crust into a good pizza. Oh, & the toppings? Clearly not top notch. To top it off, the location was dirty. Their soda station looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day, they had the paper straw wrappers on the self serve area, but no straws or spoons, & the soda lid dispenser was disgustingly dirty. It's a great restaurant to take the whole family. Everyone can order their own pizza or salad and pick all their own toppings. Their are numerous choices to pick from and they put on as many as you want. I had them make me a spinach salad with chicken . It was delicious. I also had a slice of pizza which was very good . The crust was cooked so it was dark on the bottom and the toppings were fresh and tasty. The meal and drinks for five of us was under $60 and we had plenty of leftovers. read more

Only get ur pizza here on Friday's (or not at all if ur LGBTQ+), they don't make it good during the week, like, ever. But sadly the person who made it last time on a Friday (like a month ago) completely ignored me standing there at the takeaway counter, presumably because I'm trans. A cis woman came in stood next to me and they served her immediately. They looked right at me and didn't even act like I existed. She's black, not sure her name, or how they identify. But next time she gets discriminated against let her remember how she treated me. I wouldn't call it karma tho. I mean they don't even make pizza well. Just good enough for it to be edible, but only 50% of the time. Half the time it's seriously messed up. Don't get no finishing sauce either cuz the pizza will be soaked. But finding good pizza in Bucks Co. is near impossible. It's a shame cuz they got the right oven. Just the wrong people. I mean ya take what ya can get. But yo, Friday is go time. Have ur best there. We stopped here on a whim while doing a day long road trip to Doylestown and back. (I don't recommend! Lol) anyways, we stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat before heading home. I had only seen Mod Pizza one other time and it was in the Miami airport. Almost everyone had a MOD pizza box, so I was guessing it was pretty good! We stopped in around 2:30 on a Saturday and there was only one other customer in the restaurant. The concept is quick wood fire pizza (sort of like Blaze pizza if you are familiar). They also have salads too. I took the guy working that id like a build your own pizza with a GF crust. He suggested the cauliflower crust and said how good it Was. I was sold and went with cauliflower crust. You can choose and customize your sauce, cheese, toppings, and drizzles; once it comes out of the oven. The whole process took maybe 7-10 minutes at most. My pizza was so good! Like I'm still dreaming about it the next day. I couldn't even tell my crust was cauliflower, it tasted like a normal thin crust pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese was melted just right and the crust was just the slightest bit burnt (the way I like it). I wish there were MOD pizzas in Pittsburgh. Sadly, since there isn't, if/when I see one in the wild in the future, I will definitely be stopping back in! read more

Have gone here many times no problem, all with the same order. i get their plain pizza (maddie) with ranch and basil. i went in and ordered it and the lady helping me was not very kind, but it may not be her day which happens to all of us sometimes. Three people behind me got their order before mine though? and when they called my name it was a plain maddie with no basil or ranch. the man working offered if i wanted finishing sauce so i said yes please ranch. he put that on. i then looked at the pizza and noticed no basil? i asked the lady who took my order kindly if there was basil and showed her my pizza. she aggressively took the pizza back and just sprinkled some on. this was not baked in and did not taste very good. may consider finding a new spot. read more

I found MOD Pizza by accident, and it was such a fun find for me! I am vegan, and my husband eats meat, so finding a good place that we both like is a challenge. There were plenty of options for both of us, the ingredients were fresh, and the sauce was tasty (I hate a bland sauce). The wood-burning oven also makes a good crust. Another great feature is that you choose your toppings, as many as you want at no extra cost. For vegans: you know that, usually, when you choose a vegan option at a restaurant, it's often more expensive - that is not the case here. They use Daiya cheese for their vegan pie, same price as any of their other pies. Friendly and nice environment to eat in. I'm writing this review after my lunch experience today and my prior 2 visits. MOD pizza is semi-new to Valley Square. It just opened this past summer and prior to its opening the closest MOD pizza is the one in horsham which I have also visited. I do like the warrington location much better. The main reason I like the warrington location better is because of the staff. The staff at warrington is always super nice. My first visit I had an extremely nice gentleman who explained the whole process to me and my friend. He explained, just as I tell everyone, it's like Chipotle, but with pizza. He was very patient with us and made sure we were satisfied with our pizzas and salads. The second time I came here I went with my mom and the restaurant was extremely busy! We went on one of the days the local schools were off and so it was filled with middle schoolers. I recommend not going here on a Friday night or any day that schools are off, if you enjoy quiet and cleanliness. The workers seemed a little frazzled that day due to the high volume of customers. However they still were patient with my mom whose first time it was. Today I went and I had another great experience. The woman who made our pizzas was patient with my dad whose first time it was and who is hard of hearing. My dad told her it was his first time here and she said that she hoped we enjoyed them because they were made with love! I've only ever gotten the "mod" pizza, which is the regular size. They do offer a mini and a double crust option. I also have always only ever gotten red sauce. My favorite toppings are the roasted garlic and the spicy Italian sausage. I didn't care for the regular sausage. I also love their fountain drinks, they have great lemonades and teas! They also offer milkshakes which I still have to try. The building is still very clean and new and I love the industrial vibes as well as the local details such as a big "Warrington" wooden hanging. This is my new favorite pizza place! The atmosphere is very chill and casual, but it is BYOB and there is a Taste Wine store right next door so... you do the math. Anyway. You create your own pizza. Unlimited toppings and NO extra charges even for premiums like roasted garlic, arugula, fresh basil, extra cheese, etc etc. The pizza's cook up in a brick oven, and before you can pay and grab your delicious beverages they are yelling "Order Up". The Pizza is soooooooo bomb, some of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend cheated and went without me for his lunch break 2 days in a row. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I went here on a Saturday afternoon with my mom and we had a great experience! The restaurant itself is nice- sleek, clean, and welcoming. We split a pizza and ordered half and half- one with barbecue chicken and onions, the other with pesto and roasted red peppers. We also got an order or the garlic breadsticks and a drink for both or us. Everything was great and at a very affordable price point. My mom especially loved the unsweetened flavored ice tea options. We stopped by randomly for a late lunch after a meeting and were pleasantly surprised. Everyone was upbeat and friendly. We were initially a bit confused but after they explained how ordering went we were good. I created what was called a "garbage pie" by my boss because it had nearly everything on it, where he got one of the pre-selected pizzas. Both were really good, and it's awesome that you aren't charged per topping like most places. We will certainly be back. Oh, and they have free stickers. I use to come frequently but haven't been here in almost a year. They seemed annoyed by my order because I wanted half one sauce and half another sauce. Then they were annoyed that I was having two pizzas. Didn't spread the sauce around and the cheese and toppings were only in the middle. The pizza was vastly undercooked. We haven't had use of our kitchen for the past couple of weeks, so we've been eating out more than usual. With MOD less than two miles from home, we checked it out right after it opened. We LOVED it. Fabulous ambiance...delicious salads and pizzas...great teas...and a very convenient location in Valley Square. Very reasonable prices and a nice quick-service model, too. Based on that initial experience, I went back with my daughter and one of her friends. The food was still good, but there seemed to be some confusion in how pizza orders are recorded, prepared, and delivered. Unfortunately, that foreshadowed tonight's visit. Tonight we ordered three mini pizzas: one plain cheese, one with pepperoni, and one with sausage, mushrooms, onion, and peppers. Instead of letting us stand there and watch as the pies were assembled (as we had done on our first two visits), we were shooed down to the cashier. What came out of the oven for us: three plain cheese pies. Really?! They "fixed" the situation by adding the missing toppings to the two unwanted plain pies. That worked fine for the one with pepperoni. Mine ended up with lukewarm toppings, a burned crust and gloppy, half-melted mozz on top. (They DID offer to start from scratch, but I could tell the line was in chaos and didn't feel like waiting.) If we go back, we will be sure to "babysit" our food until it goes into the oven. There are definitely some process, training and/or communication issues that need to be resolved for this place to be successful. I hope the staff can get it together; MOD has *tremendous* potential and would be a great permanent addition to Valley Square. read more

There was a employee sweeping and another folding pizza boxes. The one sweeping, touches my pizza, with her ungloved hands, and proceeds to put it in the oven. When I addressed the fact that she wasn't wearing gloves, the employee folding boxes offered to remake my pizza, yet the other employee mumbled under hear breath that the fire from the oven would kill the germs.
