Store employee stated that "corporate" has required ovens to be increased in temperature because of new menu items and in the future all pizzas will be burnt. I asked the employee if he would eat the burnt pizzas he was giving me and he said "NO"; and further stated if you don't want burnt pizzas in the future do not order them from Papa John's, as all future pizzas will be burnt due to higher oven temperature. Ordered pizza directly through website to avoid a 3rd party delivering a cold pizza. No such luck. :( Got text notifications saying pizza was on its way, order was abruptly cancelled like 2 minutes before it was supposed to get here... I call the store, manager says pizza is still there.. DoorDash texts me again, saying they're on the way... got here about 30 minutes later... with someone else's order... and pizza wasn't even cut. I was having a get together for the UFC fight, and decided to order my favorite pepperoni, and cheese pizzas, garlic and cheese-breadsticks, and wings. I always receive my food fairly quickly, but last night Matthew D had my order to me within thirty minutes, (that was record time) and it was still piping hot. I mostly order takeout from this location. There have been a couple of snafus where I have paid for extra sauce and not received it. On one visit when I let the location know through a survey I received compensation and that was really nice. Usually the pizza is hot and fresh when it arrives to us, and only once did we experience a wait time that was unacceptable. I've liked their pizza a lot more than other large chains recently so I recommend you give them a try. read more

I was visiting a friend, and ordered pizza for delivery through the app. My friends complex is brand new and right next to top golf. The PAPA JOHNS app told me to get delivery from this location, as it is 4.8 miles away on google maps. The other Vineland location is 6 miles away. The delivery driver was extremely rude, and told me to my face that I should have ordered from another location, and it was "too far" from his store. Am I supposed to tip this person?? And this is after I was nice enough to meet him in the front of the neighborhood!! Not once a sorry or "I apologize" for not making any effort to bring it to your door as normal. Had to call general manager after the first didn't give me the agreed refund that night. Then general manager tells me my apartment complex is indeed too far, and I should order from another store. I enjoyed stopping by this Papa John's to get free pizza on a recent trip to Fl. I attended at Rays game, and Kane's Furniture gives out certificates for a free 11" pizza to all ticket holders if the Rays strike out 10 batters. That happened, and my Red Sox still won! (It was a great day.) My family of 7 all stopped by Kane's to get the certificates and then had a pizza party thanks to free pizza from this Papa John's. read more

I think with me saying I have been going to this location for so long, it has to mean that I enjoy them right? The staff is friendly, never skimps on the toppings and truly make sure they do the orders right (I order light sauce on my pie and my fiance order heavy sauce on his pie and we have never had issues). We have ordered delivery several times and it always arrives on time with all items in the order which we have had issues with at other pizza places. Does this place look great from the outside? Never again. I can't stand Papa Johns in the first place but my wife saw the adds for the new Papadidos. Complete waste of money. Don't think your going to get what is pictured. This Papa Johns is run by a group of incompetent teenagers. The service is extremely unprofessional and all employees are uninformed. I called twice to have my delivery changed to a pick up. The manager at first said that it couldn't be done, and instead of just not sending the pizza out I was to cancel my order. I called back to cancel and the service rep told me that the pizza would be there after all. On the way to the restaurant a driver called me to ask why no one was home to accept delivery. Since I was soon at the restaurant I went in and asked for an explanation. The girl proceeded to ask me what my order was so they could make it again. I just left. That being said, the people that run this joint are comparably deft w/r/t other performance capacities of other PJs. I've always gotten good and consistent service and quality here. The building it is in does not look great. Looks a bit run down. The inside always looks clean to me, though nothing spectacular has been done in what looks like a decade to upgrade or make the building inside and outside nicer. If I could, I would give this location absolutely no stars. I called to see how long delivery would be and after my quoted time, I decided to decline, due to the wait time. Which wasn't a problem. My problem started once I was completely hung up on mid-sentence. Once I told them that I was going to cancel on delivery because of the excessive wait time, I was immediately hung up on, mid sentence. So I called back and asked for the manager on duty and the very same person that hung up on me was the manager.
