You can find this location just one door to the left of Times Supermarket. I have found this location to be extremely kind and friendly. I've ordered from here close to 10 times and I have consistently had great experiences with their workers and managers. They always honor the VIP card price I have and always make it work in their system. Most recently, their worker, Cade, was very kind. I really appreciated that. It goes a long way. Greatly appreciated Across from Choice Comics and next to Time's Supermarket (I know you read those reviews) is Papa John's. Now we all had our fair shares of pizza but I like this place for their awesome service. They are willing to do half and half on their signature pizzas and me wanting it all, I also get the epic crust. Epic stuff crust meaning cheese filled crust. Meaning now no part of the pizza gets wasted. Really I don't like breadsticks even covered with garlic butter and marinara sauce on the side. Cheese sticks are a different story. And the cheese Papa uses isn't oily like Little Cesar. Yea that was a rough review. Brianne seems to be the all you can person. She not only takes my order but understands what I want and makes my pie. And each time it comes out delicious. Overall four stars. Great service and delicious pizza. Why not five? They gave us the wrong pizza twice in a row. Second time they gave us very expired pizza sauce to the point that the lid was bulging due to the pressure from being spoiled. It smelled bad and gave my husband a stomachache (he didn't realize until the first bite that it was rancid). They offered us a refund but today, 9 days later, we still haven't gotten it. My experiences with Papa John's in the past has typically been good. I have ordered pizza for personal as well as business occasions and they are usually great. However, this last time I ordered a couple of large works pizzas for dinner. The crust was very different this time. It seemed thicker and it was extremely dry and very tough to chew. I also added the Parmesan crust. It sounded good, but it had a bitter burnt taste. I ended up getting burgers for everyone. The worse part about the whole experience was not being able to reach anyone. The number listed for all the stores kept giving me an error message and the customer service number is not reachable from my area code. There was no number on the sticker on the pizza box and no paper receipt. I have been using them for large company orders, but I will have to make some changes if I am not even able to reach them. read more

This is THE worst pizza I've ever had. It reminds me of the Totino's brand ...the frozen one we ate as kids but at least Totino's has lots more ingredients on top....particularly da CHEESE. Could you believe this is my first time setting my foot into Papa John's? I've eaten their pizza before but somehow it was just came to me. The location is pretty big especially the assembly line. There were about a dozen people working doing different things. No one was gossiping I tell you that much. They were all busy doing their thing. Way to go! Tuesdays are their BOGO night. The hubs was having some friends over to watch the World Series, so we decided to order some pizza last minute. I had a certificate that was going to expire soon anyway, so I placed an order through the online portal for pickup. Placing the order online was easy, especially since I can get a meat-lovers half for the hubs and a veggie half for myself. They emailed a confirmation and time estimate. By the time I arrived at the store, they had just finished the order and called my name. I was able to get the cheese and red pepper packets with the pizza. The transaction was easy, and since everything was done online, I didn't have to worry about paying at the store. The pizza and cheese sticks were what you'd expect from Papa John's. I do have to say that the pizza crust has improved immensely since I was in college and used to eat store pizza regularly. They were super busy and for some reason only had one cash register going. Even though we paid online we still had to wait in line for the register because they had to print out a credit card receipt to be signed. The person taking it out and cutting it looks at the pizza for quality and says, "Yes! Black crust is so much more appealing than golden brown!This is a pass!" Whoever the sassy girl is who answers the phone- I can't believe you have the job you do. My order didn't get delivered, I agree that it was partly my fault because I blocked unknown callers on my phone (because of all the spam calls I get) but damn this girl did NOT wanna help. I called back to resolve it literally 5 minutes after I missed a call from them and she said I would have to wait 1 1/2 hours for a redelivery (Ummm I called back 5 minutes later!!) I even offered to pick it up. Ordered a Large 3 topping Pizza two weeks ago for $14.99 for delivery. It was easy to order on the phone, the order taker totally understood my order and took my card info and viola! EZ! Total wait time they quoted was about an hour, my pizza came in at 35 minutes at the dinner rush, impressive! I was expecting it to be late considering the time I did order but it delivered before the promised time! The driver was nice and I could put tip on my credit card slip, phew cause I did not have enough cash on hand to cover tip. So that is good to know to include tip on the card slip. This papa Johns is ALWAYS fast. Most of the time I always do delivery since it's a convenient for me when I'm home with my baby. Delivery time is always excellent! I do live up the road. Maybe 5-8 minutes away, and I always get my ordered within 15-30 minutes. Only a couple times they have came late but I did get my complimentary pizza card for the inconvenience. If they do, they would put you on hold for a long time until you get sick and tired of holding. Who doesn't love pizza? Papa Johns is my absolute favorite pizza chain. Each time I've ordered delivery, it never fails. My order is always on-time and right. When I've ordered pick-up, I've had slight issues that was rectified on the spot. One instance was when my co-worker and I tried to redeem one of those mailed coupons. Long story short, our pizza ended up being a large vice an XL and we were charged for the XL. It took about 10 minutes to figure out the coupon and whatnot, we didn't want to wait for the XL, so we took the large and went back to work. Ok you can't go wrong with Wednesday $10 large pizzas, but apparently you can with everything that comes with it. My pizza dipping sauce looked like it fell into a dumpster and a rat sucked on the edges. Gross and it was sitting in the pizza box! Please see the attached picture. Additionally the sauce expired on April 6th. Today's is the 16th. I don't understand it of why employees can do a quick visual check of the product. It obviously looks like it was picked out of the trash and the top is open! 22 April : the store was EXTREMELY busy. I literally watched back to back orders come flying in, and all of the workers in here were running around trying to knock them all out with the staff that they had. Even with a lobby full of customers, and few staff -- they made sure to greet everyone walking in, explained any delays to everyone efficiently, and were all SO pleasant. 10/10 for the customer service here. read more

Papa Johns is still here on the Islands. Yup they are still in business and they also participate with the islediscount ID cards. You get 2 medium 2 topping pizza for $15.79! That is a deal that beats all other deals :) So one day my boyfriend wanted to order pizza and we got the usual a pepperoni and sausage in one pizza and another spinach and chicken.We also added an order of chicken wings, honey chipotle wings because I was scared for the hotwings! We decided to pick up because it is only five minutes away from our house and it saves us a few dollars on delivery. I get in to pick up the order and waited a merely 10 minutes before someone came to help me. As I was waiting for a sales person, washer, cook, mosquito... anything.. I heard a person behind a cubicle taking phone orders. I let her know that I was waiting in front of her but said "excuse me" about 3 times before she got up and yelled for someone to come to the register. I was already annoyed at that point and when the cashier rung me up she was not the nicest person and she could not wait to go to the back because I sure was not done singing their copy of the receipt. When we got home I was a bit disappointment because my pizza was not hot, it was really warm getting to the point of being a refrigerated pizza. And the crust of the pizza is so thin and flaky I don't like it at all, I much prefer a fluffier crust or a stuffed crust. The chicken and spinach was dry and not appetizing, the chicken was just bad! You could tell that they pour the sauce only when you order it because the chicken was not evenly spread out... Next time I will just stick to my original place to get pizza, but the ID card was a deal and it wasn't all that bad for the price we paid, well for my boyfriend at least. read more

So disappointed to pay $40 for an ok pizza. We occasionally want to splurge and get delivered pizza after a long day. We use papa johns since they silvery and the drivers are always great! Unfortunately tonight we paid $40 for an ok pizza. We made the mistake of not double checking the price. The store always has deals and we've never paid more than $20. I haven't eaten Papa Johns in years (had MANY bad experiences in Atlanta--turned me off from the company/food), but my hubby hadn't eaten (I work 3rd shift), and it was late. I ordered him some pizza around 10:30 ish last night. The pizza tracker app showed the pizza was delivered about 20 minutes later, so I called. I was told the tracker is pretty buggy, but the delivery driver should be at my house within 15 minutes. 10 minutes later, I got another call letting me know the delivery driver was a little delayed (it happens so it wasn't a big deal). He compensated me for the inconvenience (without me asking) and told me the driver would call before she arrived. 10 minutes later, I got the call from the driver who quoted me 15 minutes. She showed up on time and was very friendly. The food looked presentable and tasted great. Being in Hawaii has restored my faith in Papa Johns because Atalanta sure turned me off! I'm not a big fan of pizzas because I'm more rice eaters and very picky eater too. But today I amazed by two topping pizza was so perfect, the dough was even all the way to edge, not too thick nor too thin. The cheese was perfect amount evenly spread to the edges, perfect temperature bake that (slightly brown) this young man who cooked and takes order same time he really put care and warmth in simple steps that most important in eateries. Pizzas this good I can eat everyday, usually I eat one piece even though very hungry times but today I take a FIVE pieces (belly stickin out like Manapua). he's name was Alex, it's same ingredient but he made it big difference, he really know how to make pizza, long as you cook i be a customer there! 100 star for this pizza and who cooked!! read more

3.1.13 As a part of Generation Y, someone also told me that I am part of the "pizza generation". I remember thinking to myself, I'm not a pizza girl, that's just a perk of sleepovers. I guess that person was right because I LOVE PIZZA. Well, I have always loved bread and the crust is my fav part...and I love cheese...and Italian cuisine...and ok it makes sense. Honestly, Papa John's is NOT my favorite (since my discovery of Domino's at UHM, that has become my fav, but Pizza Hut never disappoints either). I don't know, I guess I just was never really a fan of their almost burnt crust; let's just say that their signature garlic sauce (butter) is a must to make the crust bearable to eat. I also found in this last go around that the pizza was a tad too oily, almost soggy, and more so than other places. If there's anything good to say, they have some better deals than other places...but this might be a plea for more business. Really the only reason why we ordered from here is because I participated in a promotion they were running during the Super Bowl: guess the result of the coin toss and if you call it right, free pizza! Luckily, I called it right and received a coupon via email. I had to order online which was kind of nice--pretty easy and convenient--and carryout pick up went smoothly. I used to really like this place...up until the past couple of months. They used to be so fast. And if they were running behind, they'd have the courtesy to call you to let you know. The last few times I've ordered for delivery, they were 30 minutes to an hour later then the promised time. My most recent delivery order took an hour and a half instead of 27-37 minutes like the app said it would take to get to my home. I tried calling the store but no one answered. I kept calling for 30 minutes to see what was going on with my order, but still no answer. Finally, when the pizza arrived, I asked the driver why my order was so late? She said she was the only driver. Then I asked why nobody called to let me know...I had 3 hungry kids who were cranky by now.... Anyway, she still got a tip because it was pre-paid through the app. So, I asked her to please have her manager call me. She verified my number, but I did not receive a phone call. I don't think I'll be ordering delivery from them anymore. BUT, tonight I ordered for carry out, and I sent someone to pick up the order for me. I didn't tell them exactly what I ordered, and when they came back with the order, whoever helped then forgot to give him the 2-liter drink that was supposed to come with the pizza (it was a special - large pizza with a 2-liter drink). I paid for my order online and got confirmation -- however, no email was received acknowledging my order and pick up time. When I went down to the store, they were cleaning up the shop and getting ready to close. The guy working behind the register said they stopped taking online orders at 7 pm. I walked next door to Times Supermarket and bought a frozen pizza. While I'm baking my pizza at home, a Papa Johns representative from a mainland call center calls my phone to apologize for my unfulfilled order (yeah... I found that out on my own).
