What is going on with Papa John's in Waxahachie. I haven't ordered from them in some times but wow the quality of the pizza went down hill. The pizza was cold when I picked it up and it must have been undercooked because it was like eating cardboard. In addition I had to wait forever for my order because the girl attending to pickup orders up front had no clue what she was doing as she said she was new. All the others in the back couldn't be bothered to help her get orders out. It's no wonder Papa John's stock price has been cratering the past few years, they seriously don't care about the quality of their product or customer service. I won't be going back. read more

Wasn't really going to do a review but since my wife just got off the phone with the Waxahachie area Papa John's manager, I thought I would. Ordered a Cheeseburger Pizza last night and the cinnamon pull aparts. The pizza was slightly limpy but had a very good flavor. It came with one melted garlic container. Could have used two. The Cinnamon finger desserts were dry and no flavor. Honestly almost no frosting on top. First time we've had these. Probably last time especially since the reaction my wife received from the manager. After my wife told the manager her concern no one replied so she said "Hello". The manager acknowledged they "Hello". She talked a bit more. Requested a credit on our next order, only for the dessert. Still, silence. She said again, "Hello". He acknowledged again. But literally did not offer a credit or even acknowledge my wife's displeasure. They hung up with literally no ending in the conversation. This manager could have cared less. read more

I ordered delivery from here on New Years Eve and it was the worst experience I have ever had with delivering pizza. Yes, I know that delivering on NYE takes forever cause everyone wants delivery but I was willing to wait when they told me on the phone that it would take about 2 hours. 3 hours goes by and no food. I call and they tell me that a driver accidentally picked up my order so they offered to remake or refund me. I chose remake and they said it'll be out for delivery soon. 1.5 hours goes by and no food. I call and they said the DOORDASH driver picked it up already and is on the way. 1 hour goes by and still no food. It is now about 11:30pm and I call back to get a refund. I'm writing this the next morning, I never got my food delivered. The DOORDASH asshole probably ate it. It was an ironic way to end 2020. It was a terrible experience but 2020 has sucked anyways so might as well end terrible read more

I ordered several pizzas and 2 liter drinks for the Emergency Room staff at the Baylor Scott and White hospital in Waxahachie to show my appreciation for all their hard work during this pandemic. They were extremely busy when I called and said they were only doing online orders, I told them what I was doing and they immediately said I could do a phone order. The manager Chesny (not positive that's the correct name) was awesome and my driver Trey was also great. He even followed up after he dropped the pizzas off at the emergency room and told me that they were all grateful and thanked me for the delivery. read more

I am giving this place one star because of how the managers treat their drivers. I ordered a pizza and when my delivery person came she looked upset so when I asked her what happened she told me and I was furious with what she told me about how her managers treat her. If the workplace is a bad environment it makes the employees not want to do their job which then hurts the customer. And the sad thing is this wasn't the first time I've heard about how mistreated these drivers are by some of their managers. These managers need to either be fired or Papa John's obviously doesn't care about their employees or their mental health and I will never recommend this place again to work, eat, or associate with. read more

Always late with delivery, food is luke warm by the time we finally get it. They forget things every single time. They have sent us their free medium pizza apology coupon 3 times for being late and we kept giving them the benefit of the doubt as a couple of times were during busy hours. The first time we ordered they were missing the sauce from one of the barbecue chicken papadilla. The second time they forgot the drinks we ordered. The The most recent time was the last straw. We ordered our pizza and it said 30-45 minutes. Understandable on a Saturday afternoon. 1 hour and 15 minutes later we called and they hadn't even left the store with our order. My husband went to pick it up and there was one person cooking and another sitting on their phone while our pizza sat on the counter. We live 5 minutes away from this store and it was cold by the time my husband got home. They even double charged him for it. We can never get through the automated line to their manager to correct any of these things and because of the long wait times to get our food we're not sure it's even worth it. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a cheese pizza last night for delivery and NEVER received my order. When I use the track my order feature, it still says "preparing". It's been over 16 hours since I placed the order, how is it still being prepared? I called to speak with the manager just a few minutes ago, and he seemed totally unbothered and unconcerned at the service his store is providing. I told him I wanted a refund and a few minutes later he asked me again if I wanted one. Well obviously I need a refund if ya'll never brung the food that I paid for! After successfully ordering and getting deliveries from Papa John's in Waxahachie for the past two years, I was told today, by a man who identified himself as "the boss," that they don't deliver to my address. When I told him I'd ordered from them many times before, and never had they told me they didn't deliver to my address, he scoffed and said, "That doesn't surprise me." I told him I'd just order from someone else, and he barked back, "Your going to order from somewhere else?! FINE, call Pizza Hut!" This is the first time we've had any problems with Papa John's. They can't even get an online order right so I'm afraid to know how bad they'll screw up a call in order. Disappointment and frustration doesn't event begin to describe my experience. The lack of caring about the customer experience shows all the way up to the top of the chain with their store manager. Two out of three pizzas were underdone and we didn't get any of the extras we paid for. I called to the store fairly upset and the guy who answered the phone immediately started talking about me the moment he put the phone down. When the store manager came to the phone his response was "He may have thought you were someone else" and it was clear that he didn't care. While on the phone with the store manager my frustration peeked because he did care. The store manager was unapologetic for the experience. That place is a joke!
