Now days it's really hard to find a pizza place that really comes through with the cheese pull.. it's absolutely a must for me when I have pizza , if I can't bite my pizza and the cheese from my mouth to the pizza go as far as 12 inches (I'm exaggerating) but you get the point . This pizza was really good , perfect amount of pizza sauce and was still so hot and cheesy after getting it to the house. I appreciate it significantly when a company makes sure to provide you with nothing less than what you paid for. The details to my pizza matched everything I ordered. This is our go-to takeout pizza place in Waxahachie. The staff are courteous -- we've noticed an improvement in service and food quality over the last few months (new manager/shift manager?). I enjoy the white sauce pizza with pineapple or other veggies (no meat) and partner enjoys the sausage or pepperoni pizza with red sauce. We always order the cheesy bread! A few suggestions for staff: 1. Keep stock area tidier - completely in view by all customers 2. With Little Gym open and an upcoming ice cream shop, consider additional seating (even bistro tables outside on nice days). 3. We were asked to try this place because we do YouTube reviews on food, liquor, beer, etc (YouTube channel: Bobby and Barbara Peanuts)... They have different locations, but we were closer to this location (Waxahachie)... We got a large pizza to go (they have an extra large option)... The pizza was good, and if you want they give you packs of parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers... They also have subs, salads, chicken wings, pizza bowls, desserts, bottled soda (don't recall seeing a soda fountain), as well as other specials, menu items, and sides to try... At this location, they have to-go and catering menus, there's a lot of parking (they're in the parking lot with 2 other businesses), not a lot of seating (maybe 2-3 tables for parties of four), and there's one restroom... Like a lot of pizza places, you can pretty much see them make your pizza... None of the Marco's employees mentioned it, but Marco's does have a rewards program... We had a couple of issues with service... One issue was, when we entered the restaurant, the employee at the counter didn't greet us with may I take your order, welcome-in, hello, etc..., instead, he dryly said, "Are you guys ordering pizza today?" I guess that's a greet to him, but a few customers that entered after us he greeted them with hello, hey guys, a smile, etc..., and asked what he could get for them... The other issue was, we ordered a pizza they had on special ($12.99 Large Ultimate Magnifico (traditional pepperoni, old world pepperoni, Italian sausage, old world sausage, Marco's sauce, three cheeses, garlic crust, and romesan seasoning)), and we asked beforehand if we could use a 30% off coupon we got from their website... The employee stated he could see if the coupon would work, he stated it worked, so he applied the coupon... When he gave us the order total it wasn't adding up to us, but we paid anyhow... Other customers were coming in, so we waited to ask him about the order total, but he left to go box orders... We asked another employee that came to the counter about using the 30% off coupon for our order... He explained if the pizza is on special you can't use the 30% off coupon, you can use it on a regular priced menu item... The other employee could have explained that same information when we asked, and told us it would be better to get the pizza at the price it is on special; however, he charged us the regular menu price, then applied the 30% off coupon (order total was some cents higher doing it this way)... It's the principle not the price for us... Guys if you try this place keep in mind it's better to get their specials at the price it shows for their specials; and, use the 30% off coupon on a regular priced menu item... Hopefully your experience at this location with service will be better, and the employee(s) informs you about using the 30% off coupon vs paying the price of the special beforehand or when you ask... We're going to return (a different location) to try a different pizza as well as other menu items they have... read more

I have eaten here quite a few times in the past 5 months. The first 2 times were great. The 3rd time the delivery driver forgot my 2-liter, then when I called it in, he had told his managers that I had received it. I tried to order today, but you cant use online coupons over the phone, so I set up the order, called to reassure that my free 2-liter was included and was given a 40 minute delivery time. After an hour and 10 minutes, I called in and talked to the manager Ashley who assured my that my order was on the way and that they were very busy. It has now been almost 2 hours since my order, I have tried to call yet again, and had a guy question my address as if I did not give the right address. I again asked to speak to Ashley who yet again assured me that my order was on the way. I am now trying to contest the charge to my debit card for a full refund. If I was you, id go in to eat. At least in person, they are less inclined to be rude and disrespectful to their customers. Again, it is not the customers fault that the company can't hire enough delivery drivers. There should be no reason to bring that up to me over the phone about how understaffed your shift is Ashley. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! We ordered around 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. They quoted a 40-45 min wait for delivery. It being Saturday that isn't out of the ordinary for pizza delivery. We waited over an hour and my husband finally called the store back to check on our order. They put him on hold for 5 min and during that time the delivery guy showed up. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and I ordered a small Garden Salad, which I asked them to add mushrooms to. The delivery guy pulled my salad out of the hot pizza bag along with our pizza. The ranch dressing felt like it had been microwaved and the cheese on the salad was melted. The mushrooms...disgusting. They looked like slices of dead skin on my salad. Next he told me that he'd forgotten the drinks that we'd ordered but he'd go back to the store to get them. That was 30 minutes ago. I don't think we'll be getting them. So we got charged for two 20oz drinks that we won't be getting. The pizza was subpar, as pizza goes. Tasted like CiCi's to me. After I put my salad in the fridge and the dressing in the freezer for a few minutes, I tried to eat it. Tried. It tasted like it had been in a refrigerator for a week. The only reason we ordered from them was because we'd gotten a flyer on our door from them earlier in the week. I wouldn't waste your time. I'll stick with Domino's. They're cheaper and taste 100% better. Update: After 45 minutes of waiting my husband got fed up and called the store asking about our drinks. They said they would have them delivered in 10-15 min. He also explained that my salad was put in the hot bag with the pizza and they offered a new salad. After how terrible the first one tasted, we declined. The young man who delivered our pizza the first time returned with our drinks and a new salad. We took the drinks but, again, refused the salad. My issue is that I feel like if we hadn't ever called back they would have just charged us for the drinks and never come back. $4-$5 isn't a lot of money but it's enough that I want what I ordered and what I paid for. If you can't offer competent, timely delivery then only offer carry out to customers. read more

One of the best pizza places in town! We got pizza for a party last night and before I got there to pick them up, they realized they had made a mistake on one of the orders. They took the initiative to fix the problem with another pizza and gave us both the "mistake" pizza as well as the correct pizza! Also, with orders, you get a sticker that lets you rent a movie for free from the video store next door! Because the order was large, an employee helped me carry the boxes out to the car. By the time I was finished with interrogation on my phone number, (Given twice and available on caller ID) and help with hotel location, (I'm not from Waxahatchie) I forgot my order and soon was perplexed why I called. THIS is the BEST pizza we've had in YEARS!!! Color us a customer for life. We got there talked to the General Manager. Who could not have been nicer. We decided to eat there since we were going to the drive in afterwards. OMGOSH!!!! Pizza was perfect just the way we wanted it and absolutely loaded with toppings. I can't say enough about how great it was or how nice the entire staff was. We are both in agreement that from now on, it's Marco's and then to the movies!! It's absolutely worth the drive to Waxahachie for this. We live in DeSoto but I'd drive from anywhere for this pizza. For less than 20$ we have enough Pizza for 4 or 5 meals.
