The restaurant was really clean and so were the restrooms which is really important as well. The staff were really friendly and our waiter took good care of us. The food was hot and fresh with good seasoning the flavor was awesome. I will be back again for sure ya'll.

Yallllll - this has been the best breakfast by far, from the service to the decorum then to the food, 10/10 recommend! The ambiance set the tone for this location, if you haven't tried - you got too!

Peeps. Hands down the best breakfast spot so far. The food was amazing and a lot of it for the price. Best part for me was how the owner engaged the customers and the servers were cool. If I get my grits thicker, I'm moving in. Family owned with a family feel. Alex, keep doing you, Bro. #DrKindness #IFixMe #SelfKindness

Have eaten here multiple times and have enjoyed it. Hit and miss but acceptable up until today. This place is always crowded. So be patient. I ordered the Scramble Skillet and my wife ordered the Oatmeal with Bananas. My Skillet was seriously overcooked. Not only that it had zero amount of sauteed onions but plenty of onion skins. Seriously??? I sent it back and got Bisquits and Gravy in which I've had multiple times. Nothing wrong with the biscuits or even the sausage gravy but literally no flavor. My wife's Oatmeal with side of bacon was very good. Just too large a bowl. Our service was slow and almost non existent. This is very consistent with past visits. Total bill was $32 and with tip $38. Nothing is value anymore and my opinion is this was not worth more than $28 and $32 with tip. We fid have orange juice no coffee. Still a goto local breakfast stop.

Gabby was our server. She was a breath of fresh air. Just adorable! Service was great. We had an infant carrier and they were very attentive and accommodating. The food was amazing. The menu is extensive. Hubby had the biscuits & gravy and the skillet breakfast. I had eggs, bacon, and pancake. SIL had stuffed strawberry French toast with a homemade cream cheese filling. (Love it except the strawberry drizzle.) It was loaded with cream cheese. Daughter said the grits were cooked perfect, hash browns and fruit were delicious. Food presentation was appealing.

This review is from multiple visits but the service is always attentive and kind. Sometimes it can take long to receive your food and some of the portions are very small for the price. There are many tables in the larger dining area which can make it very loud and difficult to navigate around in. The chili omelette is my favorite meal I had at Butter and Grace but the rest seemed to lack a lot of seasoning and flavor.

Caleb is a fantastic server, conversationalist, and gentleman. He told us his two favorite entrees are the chicken fried steak (grits and eggs over easy, whole wheat toast) and the chilaquiles, with the chicken fried steak being the breakfast he ate every day for THREE YEARS. And the chilaquiles are recent, he said I guess those are the runner up. So yeah, we got the best chicken fried steak in the world at this place in the middle of nowhere, TX. It had a perfectly crispy and seasoned crust that didn't detach from the steak (I'm a chicken fried steak connoisseur). Grits? Fantastic. I'd absolutely go back! But most importantly, this seems to be a community stronghold for the small town it calls home, and in one out of every three places you go will have a person in a Butter and Grace shirt-- But yeah. Definitely a great spot.

The food is good. But the prices on the menu are not correct. When brought to their attention all they said was our mistake and did not offer a refund. They said it just happened but it was the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. AYCE Catfish is $17.95 but the menu states $14.95. That is a large difference. CHECK MENU PRICES AND YOUR BILL.

The ambiance was nice & cute. Valentine decor was simple. They have photo op areas. Service was great. I ordered Chick Fried Steak. It was a tough, the gravy was lukewarm. Fried okra was cold, server exchanged it immediately. Cucumber Salad & Corn Fritters were good.

    Are the cinnamon rolls big?

the Cinnamon rolls are not giants but they are just the right size, In my opinion but the over all dessert choices are amazing

How late do they serve breakfast?

    All day

    Do they serve alcohol?

They do serve mimosas but no other alcoholic beverages are available

    Do they have salsa?

I don't remember them having salsa. Although I didn't order anything that would need it. Sorry.

Tonight, Via DoorDash, I ordered the pork chops and eggs (over medium ) meal and two crunchy ground beef tacos meal . My Instructions say if meal isn't available, I do not want any substitutions but instead refund me my entire order. They were out of pork chops, so instead of refunding me my entire order as I requested, they made adjustments to the order and still served me the meal without the pork chops. I received scrambled eggs instead of the over medium , and instead of putting the veggies inside of my tacos. They laid my tacos sideways flat and laid the wet ingredients on the top of them . My tacos immediately crumbled when I tried to pick them up and bite them . I ended up having to turn the tacos into a taco salad. The taco meat ( ground beef ) tasted like Taco Bell's meat , which made me feel like I most definitely should have just gone to Taco Bell and I would have received more than what I got in this order and I still would have paid less , and got better quality. So it's safe to say that I was not satisfied with my meals, and that this places has made me dislike texmex food even more .

Bar area is dark & had TVs blaring loud with FIFA on. We would have watched FIFA but also wanted to be able to hear each-other so we went in the separate restaurant area which was light & comfortable. We were immediately brought chips, salsa, & a mild cheese sauce. The chips were thick & not too salty. The cheese sauce was good and unexpected. The salsa had a strange twang to it - couldn't eat it. (Wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way or spoiled). My Mom got and enjoyed a small tortilla soup. Lunch specials during the week for $9.99 I got the #31 Guadalajara plate- chicken quesadilla, ground beef tostada, & rice & beans. Rice and beans were cold. Guacamole tasted packaged. Good amount of meat in the quesadilla. Waitress was pleasant. Pay at counter when you're done. Our waitress didn't tell us to do this or give us a tab to take to counter. We just finally assumed this is what we were supposed to do after she cleared our plates and never came back. Waited 24hr before writing review incase I got sick. So far so good.

It's a pretty decent size restaurant with two seating sections and a bar with a lot of decor. We arrived before the rest of the party and were seated and drink orders taken and the server was friendly. I ordered the chicken fried steak plate with two eggs over easy, hash browns and it came with two biscuits and a side of gravy. I was actually surprised how good it was as I have been before and it wasn't the greatest. The chicken fried steak was seasoned nicely with a good breading. The hash browns were seasoned well and the biscuits were nice and soft with a side of gravy to top it off. My only complaint was the eggs were over done but it was still a good a good meal. I was able to taste the menudo which for me needed more hominy and a bit more seasoning. There aren't many great options for dining out in Waxahachie but this place is a decent one for the area.
