Clean location, awesome service personnel but it seems like the quality has gone down since the last time I ate here. 2 stars only given for the service not the food!!! I used to come frequently, mainly because of the price! THAT is a joke now! The pizzas are probably 2x or 3x what they used to be, for less quality. I ordered my standard stuffed pizza and followed the instructions exactly as printed. When I cut into the pizza it was still raw! Oven temperature was continued at the temperature listed in the instructions and it took almost 20 more minutes past the highest cooking time in the directions before it was even close to acceptable and still very poor quality! Maybe my pizza acceptability was lower when I was younger, because I remember thinking I really enjoyed Papa Murphy's pizza! Now days, I don't think this pizza is even worth the cardboard it was made on. Crust was soggy and just not good at all! I've had better frozen pizzas at the grocery store. Pizza crust is supposed to be crunchy. Sadly this pizza is mediocre at best! Lol don't know if Dave Portnoy has ever rated Papa Murphy's but wouldn't think he'd give it more than a 2 out of 10...Won't be returning, I'm totally unsure how this place rates so high on the scale. Maybe the stuffed pizzas are the problem, but I won't be taking another chance to see! Good luck! read more

First time trying this pizza chain. One of the cleanest restaurants in this extremely impoverished area. Service was friendly. Take-and-bake concept. They prepare it and you bake it. Ordering from the Yelp link was very easy. Great selection of meat and vegetable toppings. They also offer decent tasting non-dairy cheese. read more

I'm giving this a five star on the cleanliness alone. Every time I come here it's nice and clean. The staff is very welcoming as soon as you enter, it smells good when you walk in as well. This is a take n bake place and I'd recommend to anyone that likes pizza. They have different crusts, sauces and toppings. They make in right in front of you so it's freshly made. The taste of their pizza is great. The cost is great and family friendly, since Covid everything has gone up but here it's great if you're on a tight budget as well. This bad experience was my fault, but then I thought "no-I called and tried to place an order and would have avoided all of this." So no, there is at least shared responsibility for today. I'm in town for a company training, I decide to splurge an order pizza delivery. I find this spot on Yelp, call them up, asked to place an order for delivery and was abruptly told that I can only place the order on Grub Hub. I almost called up the next place, but decided to give them a try. I log on, place an order, and I eagerly wait as I am starving-not their fault of course. Delivery guy shows up, very nice, and says, you know you have to bake your pizza right? Which NO, I did not. Why would I request pizza delivery, of a raw pizza, to a hotel? Why would I pay, the cost of two hot, fresh pizzas, for the cost of two raw, half frozen pizzas? Which, again, if i'm in a hotel, it would be fairly obvious I don't have an oven. To check myself, I went back to the site, which does say (Baking Required) next to the pizza title, but on the Grub Hub site it doesn't say, the customer has to bake it. Baking Required to me, could mean it is necessary as opposed to a pan pizza, or fire roasted, or I don't know because guess who doesn't work in a pizza shop-THIS GUY! Yes, I am responsible for this, yes, I should have checked out all of their reviews instead of just looking at the stars on Yelp, yes, I do take responsibility, BUT if they would have taken my call, answered a few questions instead of opting out to take two minutes on the phone, this could have all been avoided. By the way, the taste of your raw pizza sucks. read more

My neighbor stopped me in my way in with papa Murphy's awhile ago and asked where I got them. I told her the coffee rd location, she told me that the north Chester one was worth the drive and was cleaner and higher quality. I tried it today and I have to say it's a compete difference. The dough is better, you get more toppings, the store plexiglass was actually clean and the staff is friendly!! I will never go back to the other location!!! Ok hold up wait a minute..... Did you know that this place has major discounts on Tuesdays? Oh my gosh we stop by this evening to catch a quick fix for dinner. Little did we know Tuesdays are discount days we got the family style pizza for $12 bucks two 2 L of soda for ,$3 bucks and two desserts for $8 bucks holy cow what a savings. This take-N-bake pizza is probably the best pizza in town. True enough you have to cook it yourself but hands down the quality for the price is well worth the effort. I was in there yesterday to try and order a pizza and I had the rudest customer service that I've ever had. It was in the evening. Obviously, the owner was not there. I have been there before when the owner was there and it was good. BUT His night manager was a real jerk. Everytime I go to this location, I'm impressed. The store is clean, and smells so wonderful. And most of all the staff is always courteous and friendly. Plus I really think they absolutely know they are dealing with the dinner crowd. So no real waiting, you're in and out in no time. Also signed up for the text alerts and got free cookie dough, can't be free cookie dough. We LOVE Papa Murphy's-especially this location. It's beneficial that it's just around the block for us, but the staff and customer service is what sells it. We try to only frequent businesses with good customer service and this place has me coming back nearly once a week. The prices are awesome and they are always having specials. We love their deep dish pizzas (seriously, better than any other pizza place in town) but their regular crust is great too. Honestly though, the staff here are incredible. They remember your face (we come all the time now though) and are very personable. I think it's the manager there, but he makes the best dad jokes and is super happy and friendly. Never ever have we had an issue here. I'll come in with my infant son, and they'll help me out to my car, hold the door, etc. without any prompting. Just good quality food, good quality people.
