Came in this evening for a birthday gathering with family. Well we had not even known this place was here. To our surprise the staff is super friendly with plenty of parking. It's rather big and there is a party room. They have a a game area for the younger crowd our kids loved it. The food was on point, great flavor and it came out quickly. They also offer pitchers of drinks for your group. I definetly plan on returning to this place. It's clean including the restrooms and that says a lot. This is my second review in that this location really needs to be commended for excellent customer service. The Manager and employee Simar went up and beyond .That was just the service. ABSOLUTELY NOT. We ordered pizza at 8pm. Around 8:40 (when it was supposed to be delivered) my mom says where's the pizza. We look it up and can't find any confirmation email and the website has reset. She waits 10 mins and calls the store. After being on hold for 5 mins we are told it was already delivered. I say I never heard a door knock or a doorbell. Round Table says well they don't ring the bell unless instructed to. What the actual?! A hot food delivery that doesn't announce the delivery?! That's not a thing. So we check the front door and sure enough the food is there. Outside. COLD. Luckily we have a table out front or else it would just be on the ground with the bugs and animals. So I tell the Round Table employee, that is not the manager because there is not one there at the time, that is unacceptable. She starts to read from a script which tells me they have this issue often. So now I have to heat up the oven and air fryer to REheat the food that was delivered who knows when. Since there was such a frustrating disruption with the delivery the entire party was upset and unable to descalate enough to enjoy each others company. We put in the order at 8pm, and at 9:30pm it's finally actual ready to eat. Oh and one of the dipping sauces was not included. We often order from Magoos pizza right around the corner. Not only do they deliver in half the time they say but the order is always correct and everything tastes great. We will NEVER make the mistake of ordering from Round Table again. read more

Haven't had roundtable in a while. It seems to have changed for the better since I've been. Pizza is good, ample toppings and cheese. Could use a little more sauce but I'll request that next time. They did make a mistake on my wings by giving me one flavor instead of the two I requested. They remedied the error by giving me a full order of the correct wings. The wingers were crispy and meaty. My favorite pizza in Bakersfield. The King Arthur and regular potato wedges are top notch. The staff is very friendly and grateful for the business. I miss the pizza buffets of my childhood. I love that these guys have a salad bar. I love making random weird choices. Chickpeas and balsamic vinaigrette? Sure! Where were the bacon bits and chow mein noodles though? The pizza was a struggle though. When we arrived there were two out. 30min later it was the same two. ROUND TABLE PIZZA - Very Disappointing Experience Went to reserve rooms for soccer team meetings at the Round Table Pizza at the Gosford location in Bakersfield and was very disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism from the staff as they seem to confabulate one story to the next. I was told that there is a deposit of $75 to use the meeting room which isn't unusual. What is unusual is that the deposit can not be used towards foods. I asked for clarification that in the past, deposits could be used towards the purchase of foods. Was informed that it could not be used for foods and non-refundable. I stated that it sounded more like a "Rental Fee". I think that's very dishonest to call it a deposit when it is really a rental fee. Many people will not know this and lose $75 as deposits are required in advance. So Regardless of how this franchise chooses to conduct their business, I am very disappointed with the inconsistencies of statements as worker after worker told inconsistent statements. I Asked to speak to the manager (Francisco) and never received a callback for clarification. From this point on, Premier soccer will not conduct any business with the Round Table Pizza located on Gosford. An absolutely disappointing experience as when you ask for clarification due to the multiple inconsistencies of statements, you become the bad person. Anyhow, will be moving to a new location of Mountain Mike's Pizza and Magoos Pizza. I'm sorry to write a bad experience at the Round Table Pizza, but these workers there should be more professional. Just opened today. It used to be Poppa O's then 4200 pizza (for six months) now it's Round Table and everything is shiny new again. I haven't been to a round table since I was little and really remember nothing. The pizza is good crispy thin crust. The chicken and wedges are average.It's a little expensive if you're not getting the lunch buffet or a combo. The lunch buffet is 5.99. They also have a little salad bar.
