This location was a big disappointment. No greeting when I walked in and two people that were not the most pleasant. I've ordered from several in Scottsdale and Fountain Hills and had no issues. This time when I watched them make the pizzas, I noticed that the green onions looked super wilted and kind of gross with dark spots on them. Most of the items in the case looked unappealing, as if a week old. The girl at the counter said, "I think it's just hot in here." Okay... When the girl started making the second pizza incorrectly, I showed her the ticket and then she had a brief argument with the guy before leaving my pizza and going to help someone at the cash register. There were no customers when I walked in. While they proline online requests, staff were able to take my order then and there which I was happy about. I wanted a thin crust veggie pizza. She asked what types of veggies and was able to accommodate my wishes. The crust was made fresh for me while I watched her make the remaining part of the pie. She was very efficient. For those of you who haven't had their pizza before, they make the pizza and you take it home to bake. They wrap the pie up carefully so that the ingredients don't fall off. They include instructions on how long to bake the pie and at what temperature. The prize is quite reasonable. The taste was amazingly good. I felt as if I had been transported to New York! I received a coupon in the mail for $10 off any Large Pizza (in store only). Coupon would not expire until 05/15/2025. I went to this Papa Murphy's and was told that my coupon was not accepted at this location. When I asked when the owner comes in to the store, I was told "never". I was not about to go ballistic on the young workers, as I knew they do not make the rules. I still ordered my pizza and told them that this was not good business practice, to which they agreed. All I can say is WOW!!!! With the previous owners, our pizzas had barely any toppings. I wrote a bad review and hadn't been back. While I don't usually review chains, PM has got me mad. We've been customers for quite a while and my wife has signed up for their email. Last Tuesday, we got an email for $10 Tuesday so we decided to get a pizza. When we stopped in, the counter person said that as of the start of the year, it was $12 Tuesday. My wife showed her the email and she said that probably corporate hadn't caught up yet. Huh? She refused to honor the email. When she got home, my wife sent an email to corporate asking what was going on. No one responded. Since that point, we've gotten ads in the paper and again in emails highlighting $10 Tuesdays. We ordered our family size pizza from papa Murphy's on cave creek rd this afternoon. It was ready when we got there and the lady that assisted me was very nice. The problem was the pizza mostly stuck to the paper tray after coming out of the oven. We have had many many papa Murphy's pizzas and it was very apparent that whoever made this pizza forgot to add the corn meal to the tray! I loveeee the new owners at this location. They are so friendly (even remember my name) and hire friendly help. The pizzas are always made good, taste great- quick and easy when you don't wanna cook. Just moved from Northern Utah and missing our Papa Murphy's, but found this location just minutes away! Papa Murphy's concept for pizza is awesome-couldn't be fresher, sauce and crust are delicious. We get the NY thin, sometimes we add ingredients like anchovies or whatever at home. Once again, it is a Mystery as to who eats this pizza, it is no better than a frozen pizza, and in many instances worse. But for anyone with a discriminating taste, this is a bake and throwaway pizza. The service is quite good, and the product has all of the corporate fast food elements that you would expect from a pizza fast food delivery location, but the pizza is god awful. When you're done baking it, the pizza tastes like you've put red sauce and vegetables and pepperoni on a giant slice of bread, the crust is dry and completely without flavor. Not impressed. It's hard to have a pizza place that disappoints but this place manages. Go to any other PM's if available. Very poorly run, frenetic, scattered management. I like Papa Murphy's just not this one. I do not know who Jan is but when calling in an order because the on-line option would not function she was rude and didn't seem to know what she was doing. In the end she did not apply the coupon that was advertised. It seems on purpose, the best part is by the time we got to the point of asking for her to apply the coupon she was on speakerphone due to the rudeness and confusion as we had company. All heard as we again mentioned the coupon to be applied to which she said "oh yea, I guess...." she made like she was listening and caring and " yea uh huh " when we asked to confirm. Great take home and bake pizza with super fresh ingredients. I've been going to this location for over 10 years when the original owner had it. The new owners are great as well, I've always had good customer service. We like the idea of being able to pick up a fresh pizza on the way home and pop it in the oven when we're ready. I was contacted by the Owner the following day. She was extremely apologetic & expressed her corporate vendor concerns about the quality of lettuce. She asked for pictures to forward in order to get problem resolved. I am happy with outcome & will give this establishment another try. Original Post-We have been getting pizza from this place for quite a few years now but not sure we will be back. Tonite we decided to also try their Cobb Salad. What a horrible mistake. Before I took the lid off, it should have been a red flag - the Sell By Date had been changed or written over. The lettuce inside was mostly pink and limp. I thought it was just a couple pieces on top but, as I dug down it only got worse. The turkey meat was even slimy & discolored. The bacon bit pieces were mostly a flesh tone color. We are now concerned about the lack of quality ingredients & health precautions taken and used for their pizzas. I called to make sure they remove any remaining salads that were for sale & to report the problem. I never asked to speak to a manager but was immediately told one wouldn't be available for 3-4 days and to call back then. There was my answer as to what's going on - This business is being run by minimum wage earning kids and without any supervision. Please be careful eating at one of these establishments. This is a nice way to get some cheap pizza. However, I don't think the pizza is as good as other pizza places in town, and I actually think grocery store frozen pizza beats it. Tonight I went into this location with my father and we are absolutely appalled. As frequent customers, we were under the impression that we would walk in and get the exceptional service we usually do; this was not the case. Not only were we ignored by the two ill-tempered, eye rolling employees, we walked into a filthy unattended lobby. After repeating our order multiple times to the absent-minded cashier, she still managed to enter it incorrectly. Once our pizza was in the process of being made, my father had to stop the other employee to verify his order. After multiple scoffs and dirty looks, my father had to pay a separate time to fix their mistake. Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication, the cashier rolled her eyes once more and walked off annoyed. Now that our CORRECT pizza was finally being made, I noticed that the employee in charge of creating these "masterpieces" didn't change her gloves she used for condensing Cambros full of raw meats. Violating a direct Food Safety and Environmental Services law especially in front of customers is not only repulsive, but a rational reason for me, a former manager in the food industry, not to return. read more

I probably go here twice a month and have always had a good experience. For once in my life I didn't have a coupon in hand so I found one online. The cashier said "if you find one online and show it to me then I can apply it." I pulled it up and showed it to her just like she asked and then she told me I had to order it online. Being that she's probably 16 years old, she likely hasn't realized the importance of customer service so I hope that someone educates her at some point. She offered me a pizza that was going to be available the following week. She was going to take it home to have her husband try it out. I went to purchase another Pizza today 8/11/16 and I presented my stamped card for my ninth pizza and the girl at the counter called Kity told me that they don't do that any more I asked since I purchased eight pizza's so far can they take off something she told me no, and that I am not the only upset customer.
