Wood fired pizzas that come out so quickly and perfect every time!! Several sauces, 2 different crusts and so many toppings to choose from. Salads, a few appetizers and desserts as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun, quaint restaurant with the friendliest staff!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Best Sangrias!!!!! We were lucky enough to get Chris as our waitress and she totally made out night!! She's the best!!!!!

Be ready for a wait, but the food was worth it. We got there at 7:30 on a Friday night and were quoted a 45 minute wait. I do wish they took reservations, but the restaurant is small so they would probably book up pretty far. We were able to wait at the little bar area, which helped pass the time. We started with the cheese puffs, which reminded us of Red Lobster rolls, but more sophisticated. The marinara and ranch were both delicious. The ranch especially stood out because it is unique and very peppery. Both pizzas were good, but I think my favorite was the Stacy's Mom. I loved the spice from the salami because it had just the right kick. Our waitress was awesome and even moved us inside since it was a rare chilly night in Arizona. Definitely recommend LAMP, just be patient since this is not a quick dinner stop.

Food: So disappointing! Both pizzas had an off flavor and their crust was not tasty and were on the hard side. The cheese was also on the chewy side. Service: Nice staff but they got orders wrong and service was very slow. Atmosphere: They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have both inside and outside seating with a cozy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We decided so seat outside but it took longer than expected as we were a party of four and their outside tables are for two.

If you're looking for amazing artisan pizza in North Scottsdale, this place absolutely delivers. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired oven and the crust has that perfect balance of crispy and slightly charred on the outside but soft and airy inside. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every pie. Little bit of a wait but it was definitely worth it. Best pizza spot in town!!! Loved both the wood-fired pizza and the nonna. The crust was perfectly crispy and chewy on both, and loved the extra twice baked crunch on the nonna. Great flavors and fresh ingredients, and friendly service! The union salad is also standout, with the white beans and pine nuts.

I've heard this place has great wood oven pizza so went to try it and loved the pizzas. Heads up if you want to order pickup call early. I placed an order around 5:30pm and order was not ready until 7:05pm. I tried the Margherita and gem and would recommend.

It has taken me entirely too long to get back to LAMP! This is the BEST pizza in the valley for sure. I was in a group of 3, and we arrived around 5:30 on Saturday evening. We waited about 30 min for a table. There isn't much seating for the waiting area, and a lot of the area businesses were closed, so we walked to Starbucks and waited there. The three of us shared the zucchini cakes (obviously - these are a non-negotiable if you're going to LAMP) and two pizzas. The zucchini cakes are fresh, crispy, and flavorful. I'm obsessed. For the pizzas, we opted for one white and one red. We got the Gem - a red pizza with pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, garlic, and oregano. It was SO good. There's hardly and grease, so no blotting necessary. For our white pizza, we got the Kensington - figs, goat cheese, and arugula. You can add prosciutto, which we did. It was amazing. We also got a size of balsamic vinegar, and that took the Kensington to the next level. Service was great. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We hope that this place doesn't get overrun with more customers than it already is! The pizza is that good and the salads are way better than they sound on the menu. We had the red grape, Gorgonzola and pine nut salad - well that name and description makes it sound like it doesn't have many greens because they don't even mention the greens... yet it's mostly greens and that's good (!) and the amount of dressing, grapes, Gorgonzola and pine nuts was just about perfect. It came with two slices of lightly grilled Italian bread with a tiny bit of olive oil on them. It was a really fantastic salad and I would say enough for three maybe four people to share as a starter if you have anything else before pizza. There were three pizzas ordered in our group. * mushroom, it was good but pretty plain, it really it needed more flavor * one of the red 'zas with pepperoni, maybe two kinds one of them - one spicy. That was much more flavorful than the mushroom. * our favorite a white 'za with LAMP sausage, caramelized onion jam and gorgonzola. Totally amazing, full of flavor - definitely the best one on the table by far. We didn't need dessert yet a couple of separate scoops of salted caramel and double chocolate gelato were ordered. The double chocolate was very intense in flavor and firm as one would expect more so with an actual ice cream. The sea salt caramel was soft and almost like very thick sour cream at the most - it was like cream at the edges maybe it sat out too long or maybe it has too much sugar and it doesn't freeze well. It was really sweet and we had to put salt on it in order to balance out the flavors. With that said it was fantastic flavor although still a little too soft a texture for my liking. The gelato were served with a very strongly flavored chewy and very nice almond cookie. Not a crisp almond cookie like they give you a Chinese restaurant - a chewy one that was almost a bright yellow color. Service was outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Luckily we sat in the back in a half circle booth, more elongated than a half circle actually, the only problem with that spot was that it was right across the back door and when the door opens you get really cold or you would get really hot in the summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that it was nice to have a little buffer from the sound because it was somewhat loud in there, but not too bad.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely return!

Lamp victoriously took over as my favorite pizzeria in Arizona... if not ever. I didn't want to admit it because most pizzas seem really good, until I came here. I don't know why I waited so long when my Italian friends have recommended it for so long but who cares? I finally tried it and I'm a Lamp Pizzeria cult follower now. Try the zucchini cakes. They might be infused with crack because you don't want to stop eating them. It's highly suspicious because they have found a way to make eating vegetables so enjoyable. I'm not particularly a fan of olives but I enjoyed these ones. The saltiness is always satisfying. The chunky pesto served with bread was a great appetizer too. As far as pizza goes, the Kensington was by far my favorite. My friend ordered half with prosciutto on it for me and half without. Everything about it was perfection down to the "pizza bone"/crust! My husband and I shared the Gem, which was covered in Lamp Sicilian sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, garlic and oregano. I'm always a sucker for ricotta so of course we ordered this red sauce one. We also ordered the Wood Roasted Mushroom pizza, which included roasted crimini mushrooms, garlic, ricotta, and shaved sharp provolone. We also ordered cooked prosciutto on top of this one to make it heartier and I'm glad we did! For dessert, we shared the Toasted Marshmallow milk shake and ricotta cheesecake. Everyone loved the milkshake which really did taste like you're eating s'mores. I enjoyed the ricotta cheesecake the most because as mentioned above, I have a slight ricotta obsession..

Lamp pizzeria is hands down one of the best pizza places I have ever been to in the Valley. The food is absolutely amazing and every bite is bursting with flavor. The pizza is cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and delicious toppings that are fresh and flavorful. The pizza is wood fired but doesnt flop down as you tried to eat it, like some Napoletano pizzas. The crust is sturdy and crunchy all the way through, and has a back bone lol. We tried the Margehrita, Stacy's Mom, and the Gepetto. The Gepetto is a white pizza with Gorgonzola, onion marmalade and their made in house sausage, this is one of the best pizzas my taste buds have had the pleasure of tasting. Mind blown!!!!! Not only is the pizza incredible, but the rest of the menu is also outstanding. The zucchini cakes were delicious and unique, the Mike's bread loaf, a whole loaf of fresh focaccia bread, was unbelievable. The atmosphere of the pizzeria is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. They have a small outside patio, and the place is not huge. You need to arrive at 4 to get a table. If you are a pizza lover like me, I highly recommend Lamp pizzeria. You won't be disappointed!

We made it back to celebrate a great visit with my oncologist, and I have to say that I love the updates!! The booth seating is so much more comfortable. Not to mention they look great!! We love the booth in back! We had our usual pizza, salad and zucchini cakes. I added pictures again. As always the service was great, hot food was hot, cold food was cold. The tastes was perfect! I tried a new wine, not my favorite but that is my preference nothing to do with Lamp or service. I prefer unoaked Chard.

Last night was our second time in! Here's some highlights from both experiences. TLDR; flavor combos are everything, the crust isn't consistent, the hype isn't worth the wait. Our first time in we sat on the patio we showed up a little before 4pm and got seated right away. The servers are friendly however really slow. It took forever to get things. Whether a refill, turn on the patio heater, and so on. There were times we actually had to get up and ask different people to help us out. We studied the menu before hand so that right when the waiter came we were able to order our pizzas right away. However even though we placed our order right away we still had about an hour to wait until the pizza was ready. The flavor combo of the pizza was delicious!

This place has great wood fired pizza! We try to stop in whenever we're close to Scottsdale. The tomato mozzarella salad and zucchini cakes are a delicious appetizer. Highly recommend this place. FYI. Their hours are a bit limited Tuesday through Saturday 4-9pm

I was very rudely told by the manager, their online reservations were turned off, and there was no reservation for us. He then said, I should have known that they weren't accepting reservations, especially if I didn't receive a confirmation! It was offensive as I make a number of online & phone reservations, without getting a confirmation, and have never had a problem. Why should the customer assume that your reservations are turned off? There are a number of ways this manager could have resolved the situation, but he chose to blame the customer, which especially under these circumstances, (& in the restaurant business) is never okay. I have tried pizza all over the world (surprisingly good Napoli-style in Sydney AU), and lots in NYC, all over Jersey, Hartford, Detroit, Chicago, LA and San Francisco. I just found IL Bosco's most consistent. Well, last night IL Bosco was FIRE, and changed everything. My friends and I went simple this time...just salad and pies. They were impressed by the dressing on the Kale salad, and the flavorful pancetta. But the pies!!! We wanted extremes...that would complement each other so we went with the white Alba, with caramelized onion, sautéed mushrooms and a honey drizzle. The slightly salty cheese was a beautiful palate cleanser from the other amazing pie...the ZA! With Hatch Green Chili, Pepperoni, Peppadew peppers, red sauce and cheese with hot honey...it was the opposite on the red pie/white pie spectrum. And they were cooked beautifully. A just-right hint of char, beautifully light and flavorful crust and flavors that hit you individually rather than as a mess, they combined careful execution with intense and wonderful flavors. That moved into my #1 slot! And, instead of wine, we all had a Menabrea beer, one of my favorite Italian brews. The hops and subtle citrus and caramel notes worked beautifully to show off the pies. I can't remember her name but she was so attentive and very friendly! She did amazing! My son really enjoyed the pizza. He said it was a 10/10!!! We were so happy with our visit and we cannot wait to go back!
