What happened to Papa Murphy's? For years I have loved their pizza and the way my house smells when it's baking in my oven. However, my recent purchase was horrible. Instead of smelling like garlic and pizza crust, my house smelled sort of like melting plastic when the pizza was baking. When I removed it from my oven, the pizza was stuck to the paper (plastic?) under liner. The crust and toppings were not good. The crust was not the delicious homemade crust I'm used to, but instead was flavorless. The toppings of sausage and mushrooms were all ground up into tiny pieces. There were no sausage chunks or mushroom slices that I love. If it had any cheese on it, that was also tasteless. Why would you do this Papa Murphy's? read more

We ordered takeout while we were staying @ the canyons. We brought it back to the condo, baked it as suggested on the directions. I have had several papa murphys pizzas without any issues whatsoever. Our pizza crust had a weird texture, almost like the dough was old & porous. It also stuck to the tray badly when we baked it! Hoping this is just a one time incident. Pizza taste great and always cooked perfect (ha). But they almost always screw up the order. Nice staff. But major order mess ups. It's all computerized and clear it operator error on their end. I know it's Utah and they don't seem stoned but they may need to start drug testing? I'll keep buying it, super nice staff. Pizza is really good but expect a messed up order. They never have anything ready by the time you get there. When you walk in to pick up the order, that is when they start making it. If I order online and it says it will be done in 30 minutes, I expect it to be done in 30 minutes. Not made when I arrive. read more

We really didn't know what to expect with this place but we ended up being very pleasantly surprised! We got a custom signature pizza, a stuffed crust and a crustless. The favorite was definitely the stuffed crust which was HUGE we could not believe it. The flavor was great too and it was so fun to watch it rise to ginormous proportions in the oven. Would highly recommend this place! The delivery was fast too. The prices are a tad high and the crustless keto option could've used a lot more sauce but it was easy to forgive those things since everything else was so tasty! read more

This is a Create, Take and Bake pizza! We were pleasantly surprised how good it was! We ordered online and tried the half and half. The omits and additions were done perfectly. We order the thin crust and it was just that-THIN : ) My only suggestion is the paper shell needs to be more substantial in weight. It's very light and flimsy. After being a loyal Papa Murphy's customer for over 20 years I am done with them! The quality and consistency of the product has hit rock bottom! The toppings are still pretty good but the crust and the preparation is inconsistent and sloppy! This is not from just one visit but several over the last 6 months specifically at this location, the crusts are either thick on one side and paper thin on the other, old and dried out, or stuck to the tray obviously been there for a long time. The sauce is sloppily applied running over the edges and dripping in the oven while cooking. The wrap is never done quite the same and usually curls the crust over the edge of the tray making it impossible to slide the tray off during cooking for a crisper crust. And to add insult to injury guess what the crust looks like if you don't notice they put two cooking trays on the pizza. Also constantly finding debris from the make table ie mushroom bits and cheese stuck to the bottom on the cooking tray. As of now you can get a better pizza from the frozen food section in the supermarket! read more

Keto pizza is majorly overpriced. After it is baked there's not even enough for two adult men to eat. I am totally disappointed in Papa Murphy's pizza. I can't believe a $15 keto pizza doesn't weigh a 1.5 Lb. I would figure for the price of $15 we got at least 2 Lb if not 3 Lb worth of product in it. Way overcharge for what I got. Not offered a receipt. Not asked if I had rewards or signed Me up. I did email earlier and got a phone response. Nothing said we will make it right for you. The person came across as we're gonna charge what we're gonna charge you and you got a like it. I won't be doing business with Papa Murphy Pizza again with the price of this at $15 for a pound barely more than that of product. I went online menu on the keto pizza the closest one to that I got was $15 for equal amount of products put in to the box Can't believe special order of equal amount of probably put into it cost more than one stated on the menu. This place is not only dirty (and I mean really dirty when I finally went in to talk to a manager), but the management is beyond terrible. I called MANY times because they left something out of an order I placed but had picked up by someone else (so they didn't know anything was missing from the order). I called the same day to tell them and get the item refunded since I prepaid using their App. They said no one was there who could do the refund (it's soooo easy to issue a partial refund so who knows why they couldn't do it). They said a manager would call me back. No one called back. So I called about 5-7 days later and again was told that a manager would call me back. Again no one ever called me back. The third time I called and was very frustrated, the employee said they were going through 'changes', but they said they would for sure have a manager call me back. Again no one EVER called me back. This went on for at least 4-5 times that I called...I didn't go into the store because I don't live near the store. When I finally went to the store (which again was in a new location and very dirty), again only one employee was in the store and they had to call the manager while I waited...they said no I couldn't get a refund because too much time had gone by! So very unethical and unprofessional. I guess I should have immediately called my credit card company and told them what happened and I would have gotten a FULL refund...but I didn't want to do that since I did receive part of my order. Lesson learned! I wouldn't go anywhere near this particular Papa Murphy's not only on principal that they are a totally unethical establishment, but also because it was really dirty! read more

Greek Pepperoni Family Size (16") for $10.00!!!!! It doesn't get any better for either the pizza (baked at home) and/or price. Pepperoni, black olives, roma tomatoes, herbs, feta cheese, red sauce on thin crust. Took it home, preheated oven to 425, baked for 10 minutes, slid it off their tray, baked it another 3-4 minutes (watch carefully so it doesn't burn), let it sit on counter for about 5 minutes to cool down a little so it can be cut and then the gf and I scarfed it up. Check out the pics I took. Takeout pizza is almost always crappy. By the time you get home, it's usually soggy due to steam buildup but Papa Murphy's solves this by the baking is done by...you, when you want to do it. The only criticism (minor one) is the olives could have been distributed a little more evenly but I could have done this myself before baking it. read more

About as good as it gets for take out and cook it when your ready. One tip, let the pizza warm up to room temp before cooking. I get the medium thin pepperoni, about $9.50 without coupons, then I add a 4oz can of mushrooms and sprinkle on bacon bits. Man, it's good! read more

They handed me the pizza and I asked them, "The pizzas aren't cooked?" They laughed and I asked if they could cook them for me. they couldn't. So, after I walked out in shame, I went to jimmy john's with some friends instead and had to carry the pizza with me until my mom could pick it up. Luckily, she was in area. When I walked into papa Murphy's I was just thinking this was going to be an average papa Murphy's but no it's way BETTER! And the soda was really good to! Plenty of fresh lettuce and other good stuff. Most other pizza in Park City is really overpriced. This place is a good deal for great pizza especially if you have a discount coupon.
