Came here for a Friday night dinner. Place wasn't full at all. We made a reservation. It's very spacious inside and has a little of the sports bar vibe. Service was friendly and attentive. They checked on us a lot and were pretty nice. We got a salad to start which was pretty good and we also got margarita pizza and added mushrooms. We also had some wine, they had a decent selecting and decent price. Overall a nice place!

We had a reservation and were sat right away in the bar area at a hightop. The server came over and awkwardly stood there until finally asking to scan our IDs. Service from there was limited throughout the meal. The drinks were good and were a positive of the evening. Unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. I ordered the elk bolognese since elk seems like a staple in utah. Well it felt like straight ground beef with noodles due to the limited liquid sauce. The noodles were also very mushy/overcooked. The burger was OK, but the fries were more like crisps/chips than fries. For the price and other options in park city, i'd opt for a different place next time in the area.

Versante is a great family restaurant! I got the spaghetti and meatballs which were tasty and would definitely get them again. The staff were super friendly and always looking out for us. The food came out pretty fast with the cookie skillet being my favorite. Would totally recommend this restaurant!!!

Wanted to go out to dinner Wednesday night so we hopped in the car and ended up at Versante. We realized that it had been over a year since we ate there and that we both really wanted a good pizza so this was the place to go. The restaurant was almost empty, not surprising since it is the shoulder season here in Park City. We ended up sitting in the bar as we love the high top tables. Our server was named Mars, from Akron Ohio (she shared that with us). She was lovely, attentive and fun to talk to. We both ordered pizzas as this give us a built in lunch item for the following day. The wife went with "The Parkite" which is one of her favorites. Pesto, mozzarella, zucchini, artichoke hearts, sundried tomato topped with fresh basil and a balsamic glaze. It was delicious, the crust was perfectly cooked, not to thin and not soggy. I went with an off the menu special. They used to serve a pizza called with the Miners Meat Lover and that was my favorite. I was reminiscing about it with Mars when she picked up her, found an old menu and said "no problem" to me. It was every bit as good as I remembered, and with the addition of some additional pepperoni it satisfied my need for both pizza and cured meats. Now, is it right to give a place five stars when you come in, have two dishes and leave? Probably not, but we have eaten there many times without doing a review. So the rating is both for the meal we had this week and for all the times we have eaten there before. Food is solid, service is great, prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for from a local restaurant.

It's about time that I update this review! I've been back multiple times and I'm a big fan of Versante. I can't speak highly enough about the Brussels sprouts and Spiro pizza! They both have truffle honey on them, and the balance of flavors is perfection. So good. Can't wait to come back!

Great food and cool vibes in Park city. Amazing pizza and drinks. What could you ask for? Versante is a restaurant bar that is located inside a hotel. Made reservations for a party of six on a weekend. Staff and service are super accommodating and were able to push my reservation back a little later because we were late. The restaurant and bar were super lively for the Super Bowl game, and we were able to ask for a seat with a view of the TVs. Food: - BBQ chicken pizza (5/5) - this was a suggestion from our waiter, it's not on the menu, but he suggested it as a secret menu item. Pizzas come out huge and are able to feed two people barbecue chicken was yummy, and the crust was soft. Get this one!! - Speziato pizza (3/5) - another popular suggestion, this Pizza had a spicy sweet combination with the chili infused honey. The peppers on it made it just a little too spicy so I took them off. It was unique, but I don't think I'd get it again. - Loaded Yukon pizza (5/5) - i'd say this is the star of the show. Think about a baked potato made into a pizza and the truffle tied it all together and made every bite delicious. The truffle was just the right amount, not overwhelming - The Spiro pizza (2/5) - if you like prosciutto, this pizzas is for you. I thought it was a bit salty. The truffle flavor didn't really come through but I really like the freshness of the arugula. - Fritos Misto Calamari (3/5) - the calamari serving is huge and shareable for a large party. Calamari pieces are breaded shrimp, which was interesting, but still yummy. - Traditional Caesar salad with shrimp (3/5) - the salad could've used more dressing, it didn't taste that ceasary. - Cookie Skillet (5/5) - the cookie skillet was delicious a warm cookie with vanilla ice cream on the top. Overall, a super solid place to eat, grab a drink, and hang after a day on the slopes. They have a selection of cocktails, beer on tap, and wine. Parking is easy and there's a bus stop right in front of the restaurant in case you're from out of town and taking public transportation in the area!

Found this place on our recent trip to Park City. Great, friendly service and cozy, family friendly atmosphere

Excellent service. Great place to go after Park City wine festival. Sorry, I did not get a photo of the two pizzas we inhaled! Shared appetizers included one with Brussel sprouts and one with artichokes. Eat your veggies! They are next to a motel and look like they have great outdoor dining area too for nice weather. One criticism: such a tiny shared bathroom for a big joint. Loved the moose painting. Cheers.

    Pesto Gnocchi

Came on a Friday night and had super high hopes for our meal based on the ratings on Yelp and Google. We ordered a plethora of food to try: the traditional Caesar, the Versante Sampler (artichoke dip, shishito peppers, bruschetta, and crispy Brussels sprouts), the pesto gnocchi, and their Spicy Perciatelli alla'Arrabbiata. The good: - We were seated immediately despite it being busy, and our food came out super quickly. - We enjoyed the shishito peppers and crispy Brussels sprouts (until they were a little two sweet for us) and the Spicy Perciatelli alla'Arrabbiata. The not so great: - The traditional Caesar salad was just okay. The dressing didn't have any flavor and the croutons had the taste and texture of stale bread. - From the Versante sampler, the artichoke dip came out cold and tasted very much just like a block of cream cheese, and the bruschetta had more artichoke hearts than tomatoes, but the flavor was okay. - Now, the pesto gnocchi was just dry. There was hardly any pesto on the dish so the gnocchi was just pockets of potato. The chicken that accompanied it was just okay; not over cooked but not moist. We were slightly disappointed with the outcome just based on how many people love this place. Or maybe we didn't order the right items.

They also only have five cocktails on the menu and you can't order anything else with liquor (I asked for a hot toddy cuz I'm freezing and they said no can do). The singer was good and the ambiance is nice; not very crowded. But overall, I would never pay $65/glass for mediocre wine unless I'm at an ultra luxury resort (which this is not).

I wanted to go somewhere special and unique. Nelson Cottage seemed perfect. I was proactive and booked the table 20 days in advance. On 23 June, I received, by email, a reminder from Nelson Cottage. On 24 June at 12:03 PM, I received a text reminder from Nelson Cottage. On 24 June at 4:12 PM, I got a voicemail stating they had some cancellations for the 8PM seating so it would be pretty empty, and would I like to switch my reservation to 5PM or a different day...because who doesn't love a nice romantic 5pm dinner...or celebrating their anniversary on someone else's special day...no big deal, though. No harm in asking if we'd like to switch times/days. I sent a text because I was working and couldn't really spare the time to make a call...I told them that I was fine with keeping the 8PM and was unable to make the 5PM and was looking forward to spending our anniversary at their place. I received a response telling me that they are cancelling the 8PM seating because they didn't have enough people, due to some last minute cancellations. I was informed that closing was "out of their hands", because they didn't have enough customers. I understand that they didn't have enough customers...but figuratively closing the door in the face of the customers you DO have was certainly "in their hands." This is the night before the anniversary dinner. They DID however offer to set me up with a reservation two doors down at "the Saloon". Yep, it sure does sound romantic, special, and impressive. They offered to allow me to try a different night. Not "on the house" for spoiling our occasion...they generously invited me to come and spend my money a different day. Very kind of them. What an offer. If at the time of making the reservation, they had told me this cancellation was possible...fine. If they had given me more than 30 hours, not great, but fine. If they had to cancel due to some emergency, illness, serious situation...fine. They just discarded our anniversary dinner at the last minute because it was inconvenient for them. I've seen McDonald's pretty empty, but the staff is there for the hours that they stated they would be open. Denny's...same. IHOP...same. Olive Garden...same. Pretty much every restaurant that values their customers. Nelson Cottage apparently doesn't. I don't know how often they do this, but even though I would LOVE to dine there, even still...they get nothing from me. I took an hour off work tonight, losing pay, so I could scramble to find someplace for tomorrow night. Luckily, Log Haven was happy to accommodate. They said they have plenty of space, and I asked if that means they might just close, since they won't be full... Of course they won't close. I know I can trust them...they are different than Nelson Cottage. For those reading this...if you decide to try it, good luck, but I'd like to recommend Log Haven, Grappa, Pinecone Ridge, La Caille, or lots of other great places in the area instead of these people, who seem to not care at all about their customers. Happy Anniversary.
