We got here on the very first day they opened (not realizing this of course) and it was a bit odd being us and only one other table in the restaurant. Overall, the food was good! There is a nice lemon zest added to the Caesar salad that was so fresh. The pizza is definitely fresh and actually better than anything we had in Italy! Note: It was a bit off-putting watching an owner or manager stand at the line in full view of customers eating an entire meal. Hands down best Italian food in park city! They are located on the lower level of St.Regis so just take the fornicular down and it's right there. I am a sucker for good gnocchi and let me tell you, I had the most delicious soft pillowy gnocchi in a creamy garlic sauce. It was so good that it was gone before I took any pictures. For mains their branzino and lasagna are the best. Service is amazing, our server Mariano made the experience so much better! Fantastic Italian joint in Deer Valley... La Stellina is as good as advertised... It's a high end NYC style Italian restaurant that did not disappoint. While the vibe is a bit yuppie for our liking (yeah got it, Deer Valley is the yuppiest ski resort in the country), the restaurant is advertised as "mountain causal" but is very much upscale. Nonetheless, La Stellina had excellent service and outstanding food... It's definitely one of, if not the best Italian restaurants in the PC area. We were there recently with 6 people at our table and 6 friends at another. Two of us at our table ordered the eggplant Parmesan as our main course. The serving wasn't even an appetizer portion. We went back to the table to see our friends who also ordered the eggplant and their pieces were twice a big and thicker. As far as Park City restaurants go, this is one of the better ones. I can't remember our waiters name but he provided top notch service and some really good drink recommendations. I got the bolognese which was delicious and flavorful. The cheese plate was disappointing (too much blue cheese) but the focaccia and meatballs were to die for. This is definitely a family restaurant with lots of children around. Pro tip: you can order off menu spaghetti and meatballs or an adult size chicken Parmesan. read more

Worst service ever! Felt the managers did not support their servers. Waited 15 min to find our server for the bill, then to run the credit card was another delay. Drinks were not impressive. The food was fair but over priced. Presentation was nice. Caesar salad was over citrus/lemon. Burrata was good, would have preferred the peaches to be peeled. Rigatoni was ok not very flavorful. Gnocchi did not hold up, fell apart (still mashed potatoes), meatballs were my favorite if you like spicy, squid ink linguine with garlic shrimp was mostly broth, shrimp was delicately cooked. The food here is so good. My wife made a meal out of the salad. So fresh and good. My house made noodles were amazing. Service and food have been consistently good here. Having dined at La Stellina for the second time we were impressed with the options for golfing. Michael has been our server for the second time and always does a great job. He is attentive & very detail oriented. The nachos were spicy and savory. I wish they had avocado to add to the dish. The charcuterie board was amazing again. La Stellina hosted our rehearsal dinner. They have a cozy bar next door where they were able to accommodate a larger group so we could hang out and greet everyone before our reservation. I thought the food was really good especially given the prices for a restaurant part of the St. Regis (Pastas about 30). Food was so good relative to other options we went twice in 4 days. The lasagna was particular phenomenal but other pastas we had were good as was the cheese plate and ceaser salad. Special should put to the wine list which is extensive and has options at every price. I was also able to find a real steal of Ruffino Chianti Ducale Gold for like $66 a bottle when this should retail for ~$44. I've seen this on restaurant wine lists for 100+. This may have been an outlier but there were many other good options that seemed at reasonable prices as well as more special bottle. read more

New restaurant that just opened. Definitely still working out the kinks. It's a small space it looks a little sterile. Several of the bus boys spoke limited English. The food was hit or miss the pizzas were very average and could've used more heat for a nicer cooked crust. The Caesar salad was shaved and mediocre. The fried cheese curd was OK but didn't have very much flavor. For the mains, the pastas were pretty good. The Bronzino was very moist and tasty, and the broccolini was cooked well for dessert chocolate donuts were hot and well-made with a nice chocolate sauce in the tiramisu was also quite good. I would say overall maybe 3 1/2 stars and depending once they work out the kinks, maybe some of the more average dishes will get better. read more

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. I'd hope that "Victor", being a local and taking some pride in his town, would have talked with management before posting such a scathing review. Our experience quite the opposite. Exceptional meals in general hard to come by in Park City. This way exceeded our expectations. The food and service were so good, we cancelled our reservation at Ruth's Chris the following night and went back. The waiter, Felipe, was extremely knowledgeable and made outstanding recommendations. Not the least of which the wine, a Sor Ugo Bolgheri Superiore. The best Osso Bucco ever. The cheese board was a bit disappointing with only 3 types of cheeses and focaccia was an odd choice for the bread to pair with it. White table cloth prices with no table cloth Worst overpriced restaurant in Park City. Quality of the food does not meet the standard of a Denny's and dinner for two is close to $200. They wait staff is not well trained. In our party of six, one waiter was given an order for a Manhattan and the waiter asked what kind of vodka the guest wanted. When the table was cleared after appetizers were finished they removed the unused silverware and left the used silverware on the table. No bread was served or offered. My veal chop ($48) they did not ask what how I wanted cooked. The fat was not rendered, the chop was burned dry and tasteless. Waiter never asked if everything was okay. The lasagna my wife ordered was a deconstructed one that has ALL of the edges BURNED. There was no meat in it. She only ate a portion of it. When the table was cleared and over half of it was uneaten NO ONE asked if it was okay. There were only two other tables that were filled. From the quality of our meal and service I now know why. You would get a better meal at Burger King read more

Hubs and I had a great meal here last Friday - the server was very Italian and chatty and added to the experience. We started out with the Cheese plate which included 1) a pecorino (standard) 2) a brie from France (decent) and 3) local Heber blue cheese (very good). The platter was huge and def enough to share with at least 4 people For apps we did the baked clams - these are kind of like clams rockafeller - they were just OK, and the calamari - which is grilled style with red sauce. Calamari was v tasty! We opted for the truffle tagliatelle and Florentine steak for our mains. The pasta is SUPER creamy and quite heavy but has great flavor. The steak was very large and also the style where it's sous-vide first then finished on the grill. It was just OK because we generally like that super thicc char on a grilled steak instead of the sous-vide consistency. Just personal preference! Finished the night with the donuts which were pretty good but needed some ice cream to go with. Other shout outs - the sourdough bread is goodd (esp to dip in the calamari sauce) and so is the wine list! We moved to Park City after spending over a decade in NYC and have been struggling with the food scene here. Despite the other reviews, La Stellina has definitely surprised us and has made the top of our Park City restos list. read more

Awesome quality ingredients and flavor with every dish we ordered... mussels, chicken and lasagna. The lasagna was surprisingly light from pasta to sauce.. it was amazing! I'm 2nd gen Italian so I'm SUPER picky and this restaurant's dishes and customer service did not disappoint! I'd highly recommend! My only recommendation would be to add a mixed green salad of any style n add'l ingredients to the menu. We would've loved a healthy mixed green salad to order with our dishes. Food and service were both excellent - this was our best meal during our latest visit to Park City. La Stellina managed to be both upscale and family friendly. The staff really went out of their way to make our kids (5 and 2) happy and comfortable. It also helps that we could walk our kids over to ride the funicular when they started getting antsy at the table. We tried a lot of different food but the pasta dishes were the standout to us. La Stellina is truly one of the best restaurants in Park City. We love Italian food so during our recent stay, we went to both Grappa and La Stellina. Hands down, La Stellina wins for food. I'm giving 2 stars because at least the waiter was very nice. The restaurant is very noisy and the food was mediocre at best. I ordered lamb medium rare-it was medium to well. The chicken dish was undercooked where you could see blood. The 3 other meals were okay. The real kicker was that since we didn't recognize any of the wines by the glass on the menu, the waiter asked if we'd like to taste one to see if we liked it. It was fine so we ordered 2 glasses. Let me say we eat out very often and are very familiar with many wines so it's unusual when none of the wineries sound familiar but it happens so no big deal. And it's no big deal that they charged $1 to taste the wine which was $19 a glass for the small Utah pour. We got quite a laugh at how tacky this was! read more

We are staying at the St Regis and had reservations for dinner. We got seated and no one ever came to our table for water, drinks or to acknowledge us. Meanwhile, other table that got seated after us got served right away. We left the restaurant without a server ever coming to our table. The restaurant wasn't even full. I've had better service at a Chilis. I've never experienced anything like this, we even flagged someone down to get our server and nothing. Shame on St Regis, we've had a wonderful stay but this soured the experience here. read more
