Unfortunately, this experience was pretty disappointing. When we arrived, the hostess told us we would need to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two and suggested the bar was available. What was frustrating was that there were about five empty tables, and immediately after telling us to wait, she seated a walk-in party of four at one of them. It felt like we should have been seated first. Once we were seated, it took around 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. The bartender/host was actually very sweet and friendly, so I don't want to take away from her personally--the service just felt slow overall. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest issue. The pizza dough had an odd, overly sweet taste, and the marinara was also much sweeter than expected. The dough itself had a strange texture. The spaghetti was watery and bland and just didn't have much flavor. Overall, the staff member who helped us was kind, but the restaurant really needs to work on the food quality and consistency, as well as making guests feel like they're being taken care of. I went in to grab a bite during the Sundance Film Festival. Red Banjo is right by the Egyptian Theatre, which is super convenient. I got seated quickly, and the service was fairly quick too, given how busy it was. There's a bar area and it was pretty noisy on a Saturday. My sandwich was pretty good, too, but I did laugh a little bit when I opened the sandwich up. I'm not mad about it, since the menu was clear the garnishes would be on the side -- and that's actually pretty good if people are more on the picky side. However, it cost almost $20. It's $13 on the menu, and was about $17 after taxes. I'm my opinion, for the slightly underwhelming presentation with a bag of chips thrown on there, that's pretty steep (but then again, this is Park City). Overall, it's good! I enjoyed my sandwich, but I took off a star because the price is pretty steep for a bag of chips and a sandwich. read more

First off, cool ambiance with a little arcade downstairs. We had the Red Banjo Special and the flavor and toppings were excellent. Also jad the Silver Queen, which was good, but I thought the sauce was a little sweet. But again, I may have been biased as I am a fan of the Red Banjo Special. The crust was ok, but good. We also had the Family Caesar Salad which was fantastic. Normally restaurants would be stingy on the fresh parmesan, but this place almost put too much parmesan, which was a nice problem. They have a nice menu selection and we ordered the Red Banjo Special - 12 inch pizza, no mushrooms, no olives. The crust was slightly crispy and greasy. They didn't hold back on the cheese, which is never a bad thing! High quality meat, although I felt like they could have added more toppings. The sauce was average, but they do top the pizza with just the right amount! Aside from pizza, they have appetizers, sandwiches, pasta and salads to choose from. Amazing Experience at Red Banjo Pizza! Today was my first time at Red Banjo Pizza, and I came for a free event hosted by Summit County's alcohol-free social group. It was a "Make Your Own Pizza" day, and everything, including refreshments and the pizzas, was complimentary. The turnout was great, and I had such a fun time! The personal pan pizzas were incredible. I got to load mine up with Alfredo, marinara, pepperoni, ham, spinach, mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños. They even included a lemon wedge on top, which I squeezed over the pizza--it was delicious and such a unique touch! I've never had anything like it before. I absolutely loved the crust, the crispiness, and how quickly the pizza cooked. It was such a great experience that I'll definitely be coming back. I don't do reviews often but when I do it is either really good or really bad. My son found the Red Banjo Pizza online. We assumed since it was in business for 62 years that it would be epic. We ordered 2 pizzas and a family salad plus Parmesan and ranch dressing. We did take out and when we got home they forgot our ranch and the salad was limp. As for the pizza, it was horrible! The crust is the premade not handmade type. The cheese didn't have much taste and the toppings were minimal. For $90 it should have been much better. I do not recommend this place even if you finished a long day of skiing and have had a couple beers and are starving. Better to spend your money on some frozen pizzas and a bag of salad. read more
