First time trying this location. Been to the other one many times and have been a big fan. Took some coworkers here for lunch. They all loved their food. I love the salad. So glad this place lived up to the hype I was giving it. The lunch specials were a great price with lots of food. Service was awesome. Tonight and my last visit I ordered The Papa Vito's Deluxe, the Thursday special. This time and last, the pizza has changed. No longer can I recognize the wonderful toppings, the crisp crust, the delicious, non-greasy pizza. Because...it was nothing like that. The crust is cracker-like and uncut. The toppings tossed on crust and covered in a pudding of cheese. Salty and disappointing. They say the pizza is the same but no way. I'm sure some love it this way but I loved the original way. Horrible experience! Horrible customer service! Manager must not believe in the custom of "the customer is always right." Ordered a pizza and we given the incorrect toppings. AFTER I corrected the young lady who took my order after I misspoke and said pepperoni, but immediately corrected to hamburger. Called twice upon taking the pizza home and was met with sass and snarkyness. I was told the individual who took my order repeated it back to me. That is incorrect. Grace did not ever repeat back my order. Very disappointing because my family and I truly enjoy Papa Vito's. We will be giving patronage elsewhere going forward. read more

I am absolutely appalled with the way they handle their mistakes, as a manager myself, I'm outrageously disappointed with the way the OWNER treated us tonight. Jamie, told me that giving me RAW pizza dough in my calzone was completely acceptable and he is okay with giving customers in the community this level of product. This is the third time I've ordered here this year and this time, I may have some food poisoning to go with the very disappointing experience. I was told that "I offered you a $10 gift card, I can go up to $15, but that's it." I just wanted my money back after having to cook my food again when I got home and was instead met with a condescending attitude and a complete lack of understanding. We called about the food, knowing they were busy tonight, as we went in to order our carry out and left a message. They called us back quickly, but the phone never actually rang and they did not leave a message so my fiancé called back to have a conversation with Jamie. He told us that he's been doing this for 30 years and that ordering a calzone with no cheese is why my food was raw. He also saw fit to dig through his system using my fiancé's phone number to try to be combative about how often we have ordered there(most of them have been under my phone number). I just want to give a very fair warning to the community as a whole not to do business here and not to trust Jamie or any of his locations to turn out a product worth the price paid. Wow! The customer service from "Grace", THE MANAGER, was appalling! I have never experienced a more disrespectful display of customer service. Instead of letting the customer communicate why she was at the restaurant, THE MANAGER just continued to interrupt the customer. Finally, the customer asked can I at least finish. THE MANAGER finally listened long enough to provide the product to the customer. The customer asked for a manager; Grace indicated that she was THE MANAGER. The customer asked for the owner's contact information. THE MANAGER indicated that she would not give information about the owner, but would inform the owner that the customer was rude. WTF!! I had never heard of Papa Vito's?? A coworker mentioned how delicious their food is, so we decided to give them a try. Attempted to order on NYE but was unable to get a human on the phone. Last Friday night we were looking for dinner options and I remembered Papa Vitos. Placed an online order for deluxe pizza (WITH black olives), toasted ravioli and chocolate cake. The pizza was delectably delicious! The deluxe pizza was overrun with toppings including sausage and pepperoni. Not sure what I was expecting but I was more than satisfied. The toasted ravioli was good; I'd rate it a B. But the pizza was an A plus! The chocolate cake was good too. More like a layered mousse than sponge cake. read more

Ordered a sandwich, pizza and breadsticks for pickup. While it wasn't bad, it didn't seem up to the usual quality I expect from Papa Vitos. The bread sticks though were BAD, I've had them in the past and they were delicious. These tasted like some prepackaged bread sticks with some cheese microwaved on top. The ends of the bread sticks were super dry and hard to bite into and the majority of the cheese was stuck in the aluminum foil on the bottom of the takeout container. read more

Food was great! Service was horrible! There was 4 families in the restaurant and the hostess sat everyone together. If your restaurant is full this would be acceptable. But you had about 30 empty tables so seating everyone together was awkward. I guess the servers do not like to walk very far. Have some courtesy and seat people away from each other. read more

Papa Vito's has gone completely downhill! The services at the west end location are sad, to say the least. I called in my order and was placed on hold when the place had ZERO customers( I work in a building across the street. "Madeline" took my order and didn't ask for a name or if I was even done ordering. Once I picked up my order I politely asked for ranch and she CHARGED my card without asking if it was okay that RANCH WAS AN EXTRA charge. I've ordered their wings and have never been charged for a ranch. I told her I didn't know it was an extra charge and she responded snappy I CAN REFUND YOUR CARD. The wings are overly priced now when they used to be 10.99 and great quality. Now they're 12.99 plus tax not including dipping sauce. I won't be back to this location. read more

The breadsticks with cheese on top for that extra dollar is to die for. They're very big and the sauce is so good. I get the calzone and it's probably as big as my head so you're going to have some left overs. The buffalo chicken pizza is good but kinda pricey. I love the TVs around the place. The Rick's wings are sooo good. Only thing I don't like is that the prices for the pizzas are a bit pricey but other than that I'm set. Salads are huuuge so be ready haha read more

Charging $2 for extra sauce on a pizza you didn't get cheese on seems a bit chintzy to me. Luckily, the PV downtown does not. Will not be going back to the West end store. Best of all... My sister was in town and she loves going to the downtown Belleville location. I suggested we go to the nearby new West Main location. We started with a salad. The house dressing and salads are awesome suace. I ordered the meatball sandwich and she ordered a French dip sandwich. We both asked about fries. The waitress explained that they did not come with fries because the sandwiches were so large. I ate half of mine one night for dinner and the other half of hers on another night. :) I would like if they offered a smaller sandwich and a side. read more

Service was poor at best, food rather mediocre. After paying $40 for pizza, breadsticks, and salad, Papa Vitos forgot to include the salad with the order. Upon calling, the only restitution offered was to a) drive back 30 minutes to pick up the salad or b) write my name down on a list for a free salad. After driving back to get a box full of lettuce while my family waited at home with all of the food warming in the oven, I was offered no apology and the people were handling food without proper precautions (no gloves, masks or hairnets) in the middle of the pandemic. Additionally, this salad sat in the same box for over an hour instead of making a new one. Manager designated all the tasks to a regular employee, did not speak to me, or offer any sort of apology. I wish our small businesses success but it didn't sit comfortably with me how this was handled at any point. Good luck. read more

I am a customer of the Papa Vito's in downtown Belleville, but thought I would try this location on NorthBelt, since it was on my way home. It was my birthday and I could not wait for my double cheese with mushroom pizza. How disappointing it was to find the pizza with hardly any sauce nor cheese, talk about sparse! Taste was so off due to this limitation. I don't care where I am in the future, I will always go the extra mile for the Belleville Downtown location, where orders are made consistently... correct and great tasting! read more

3/3/2017 This little jewel of a place is less than a mile from my home, yet I have never visited. I just got off work and was not in the mood to cook nor did I really want anything at home. I did a search on Yelp for nearby places and lo and behold this place popped up. I looked at the pics and one caught my eye....I was instantly craving pizza when I saw it. So I go in and was greeted right away. I showed the lady the pic and said I want this and only this...what is this!!! Lol She got a kick out of that. She told me it was their deluxe pizza on a hand-tossed crust. I ordered that with extra cheese. We chatted while I waited and I learned this was a local place that has three locations, customers are crazy about them, and the sauce on the pizza is a sweet sauce. I instantly panicked as I dont like sweet pizza sauce; however she put my mind at ease that it would be fine. I get home...I put this wonderful looking creation on my plate and as Im walking to sit down I impatiently took a bite........ This was everything to me! It was hot and the salty toppings balanced that sauce right on out. There was also a spiciness that most likelt came from the pepperoni.
