My Italian American family and I come here any chance we get. My grandfather literally orders something different on the menu every time and always leaves satisfied. I, personally, get the gluten free pizza, which is very good! The service is normally prompt and everyone has always been nice. Also, we have never encountered any problems with cleanliness. Give Joe's a shot next time you are looking for some good food!

    Pizza with "extra sauce"

Unfortunately I am being forced to leave this review of which I will be candid, clear, and tough on this business. We are frequent patrons to this establishment, often Saturday afternoons for a ball game to which we dine in and have salads, wings, and pizza. On this occasion, of which was shockingly appalling on numerous levels of restaurant experience (bill pre tip $103). We started with some salads and wings (both of which were fine) - but we ordered a pizza with "extra sauce" (below is attached our extra sauce photo of a slice) if you are confused, you should be, because there is no sauce. We informed the waitress immediately of the issue, but as courteous customers we are never demanding or rude and simply asked for a side of sauce. The problem with this, is the pizza jsut wasn't the same. It was literally no sauce, no taste, and most importantly - not even close to worth the premium they are charging. I forgot to mention, when we asked for extra sauce, the poor waitress went back to ask the kitchen, and we could literally hear the waitress and the kitchen arguing. I will quote the highlight "I am not an idiot!" At the end of the meal we overall gave our displeasure, and even requested the manager. To which the "manager" never came out. I hate giving a review like this - but the experience, cost, quality level was shockingly egregious and overwhelmingly awful. I'd say the worst part was lack of professionalism from the manager. They have lost a frequent customer - and I'm sure "Joe" of Joes pizza would be irate to learn of how his joint was run on Sunday June 12th 2022

Server was great. Pizza and salad were delicious. Atmosphere was good because they were not real busy.

Then garlic cheesy bread to toasted ravioli. Then a shrimp in sauce. Followed by bone in wings. The wings I believe were buffalo style. The garlic Cheese bread was amazing. But I had to behave. lol more food was coming. We had their house side salad which was nice and refreshing. Then the main food was set up more cater style. You had the options of moscaholi, tortellini, chicken Parmesan, and a beef bruschetta? All were good and fulfilling. Then they ended it with cheese cake. Huge slices we had food left over they allowed us to box up the rest to take home. To drink I had a Bellini which was nice and refreshing. Some of my coworkers had the chocolate martini they loved a lot!! I'd love to go back on my own time to eat here. I've heard great things about their egg plant... Parking is street or there's a lot in the back area. I love their Tiffany lamps in the main dinning area. We sat in the back room that's used for events. If your company has a party here. They did great!!

We called a little before 5 and we're able to get reservations for 6 @ 630. Our table was ready for us with waters and all when we walked in. There is no printed kids menus, but from my understanding any of the dishes can be made into a kids portion (it's definitely small). The food was delicious. All tasted fresh and on point. I loved the decor of black and white photos of years past and how they share the history of the restaurants. It was definitely busy and I believe it is all street parking.

There are games on the tables as well. The day my pals and I went, there was a nice breeze on a day of dangerous heat, and I never wanted to leave... why would I? Yummy custard, good conversation, great patrons (everyone that stopped by were so friendly) and the best chocolate chip cookie I've EVER had in my life (and I'm old), I was in heaven. I had some kind of coffee/espresso concrete. (I forgot the name. ) It has a good taste but seemed a little runny for a concrete. Still VERY tasty. One of my pals had vanilla. (She's lactose intolerant but still loved the ice cream. ) Another had chocolate and he LOVED it. My other friend had an Italian Ice. Honestly, I've never been one to order "flavored ice" but apparently it was really good. All this, and it barely made a dent in the wallet. These items are priced right! Now, let's say you want to go here but on the day you can go (they are open 7 days a week so no excuses) it's a bit chilly but you are craving something sweet or decadent. What do you do? I'll tell you.... get one of the homemade cookies. How good are these cookies? Well, one of my pals lives in Ohio, and he bought 2 to take back with him. The owner came out and went table to table to ask how we were enjoying our treats. She's the genius behind the cookie recipe and honestly one of the nicest owners I've met. One of the people I was with started telling her his life story... he's 87, so it's cute, and she listened and even asked questions before moving on to another table. We will DEFINITELY be back! And we will bring friends!

The girls weren't thrilled about eating pizza, but boy, did they change their minds! We started with the pretzel rolls and the goat cheese and pita chips for starters. So so so good! The, we ordered three different pizzas and a calzone. The bourbon and chicken pizza, the potato pizza, and the spicy pepperoni, sausage and bacon pizza, as well as a bacon and tomato calzone. Absolutely delicious! Everybody had pieces of each pizza, and everyone was sated and, frankly, STUFFED! My granddaughters, ages 11 and 14, who can't agree on ANYTHING, told me that whenever they come to visit, I have to take them to Peel! Oh, and our server, whose name I can't recall (sometimer's disease) was super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. A fantastic experience!!.

When I saw they had hot honey and pepperoni paired together on a 8" pizza, I instantly knew that was one of my choices. The fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheeses paired with the hot honey and pepperoni exploded with flavor. My only disappointment was the inner crust. The outer rim crust was very crispy, but the inner was soft and limp due to the excessive grease from the flavorful pepperoni. I guess that is something I just need to deal with for a tasty lunch pizza. My other choice was, the Apple Gorgonzola Salad. Wow. Double Wow! This has to be the best salad I have ever had. It was a delightful mix of, spinach, granny smith apple, gorgonzola, sun-dried cranberries, candied pecans, all topped with a delicious maple cider vinaigrette. I will be back for the large version and a glass of Pino Grigio as a dinner. As my usual, I sat at the bar. My adult beverage of choice, was a Peel Summer Lager. I may be going back to fill my growler, for the upcoming holiday weekend. The restaurant has a contemporary feel, but the acoustics make it a loud environment. I didn't mind the laughter and loud conversations, it was the yelling and crying toddlers that made me cringe. Service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed watching the bartenders use their mixologist skills preparing all the cocktails. It pleased me to see they offer "hooks under the bar". That's a small detail that makes me smile.
