I hate that I forgot to take a picture. But I had the ribs of the side of brisket and it was all very delicious. The fries are really good and I enjoyed the corn nuggets. My wife had a baked potato, which is a very sizable and also delicious. This is a classic Texas small town barbecue house. Service was good and the prices were great. First time there and everything was super duper yummy and the prices were great. The smoked fried bologna sandwich... oh my goodness good, that homemade banana Pudding had us fighting over who got the last bite, and that mac and cheese had me savoring every bite. There aren't enough stars to grade this place. We pick up food here about every Friday. If they were open longer on Saturday we would eat here then, if we didn't on a Friday. We love their chop beef. I have tried their avocado taco & out of all the creative things I make, this idea never crossed my mind. I love it bc it has the best chop beef on it. I love their salads & my choice of meat is always chopped beef. My husband gets the banana pudding & every now & then we get lucky to get some rolls. The owners are really nice & the young ladies that work there are very respectful, raised right with manners. I've never been inside, but it looks nice on the inside. Very cute, but can't hold a large crowd. I also tried their burgers & OMG!!!!! I'm a big burger guru. I try them everywhere. But I would love for them to carry the keto burger buns also as an alternative bun. That way I don't have to swap buns when I get home. They offer keto tacos, soo why not lol. One of the best places to get pretty much anything. In tiny Huntington you don't have a big selection of food but in saying that, we don't eat anywhere else here in town. Burgers, fries, BBQ, banana pudding.. some of the best I have had. Moving here from Dallas when you find a good place you stick with it. I hope Papa's is around for a long time! I really enjoyed this place. The owner makes it to talk tot he customers and takes critiques well. The brisket was smoky, tender and flavorful. The biggest boon, it was not dry. The sausage was a little on the cool side temp wise. It was tasty though. My wife and I are banana pudding fans and we thought thier's was ok. It seamed more like icing than pudding. You cannot beat this place. I have lived in places where bbq is the, "staple," but Papa's takes the cake. I would say that he is better than Coopers in Llano and Louie Mueller's in Taylor.
