My bride and I ate here for the first time, on strong recommendations from local friends. We will be regulars from here on out. This was, without a doubt, one of the best burgers I've had. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers all the way. Vicki got onion rings and I had the Cajun fries. The burgers were lean and tasty without being dry. The fixin's were fresh and crisp. These were just great "homemade" tasting burgers. My fries were excellent, but the onion rings - OMG, the onion rings - were to die for. They were big rings, with a crust that didn't pull off with the first bite. The onion was fresh; the batter was seasoned to perfection; they were the best onion rings we've had in years. The locals obviously know the trick: call in your order ahead and pick it up. Being from out of town, we ordered when we got there and sat and sat and sat till they finally brought out our bag of food (With Covid, they've closed their dining room (today, 9/25/20)). Hubby ordered the Swiss burger and I had the Southwest. Both were tasty (the bun is grill-toasted, so you get that delicious ring of crunch around the edges). Fries were ho-hum. Perhaps because by the time we got back to the campsite they were cold, but they had the texture of mush so likely were the same had they been warm. The fried pickle spears were a tasty treat: breading that stayed fully intact as you dunked them into the side of ranch, and still nicely hot even after the travel. It was a decent meal, not the best burger in the world, but we've definitely had worse. If we go back for round two? We'll call it in, for sure! read more

Not easy to find in the back of the strip mall, and the building will not win an architectural digest award anytime soon, but the burger was awesome! They offer counter service to order and bring your food to the small dining room when ready. I got a half-pounder and it was a meal in itself, before I are some of the tasty onion rings. What an awesome surprise in Jasper! We were close by at the state park and decided to go into town for some shopping. My husband mentioned being in the mood for a good cheeseburger so of course i came to yelp. This placed had high ratings so we made the short drive. This is a great spot for burgers. I went two days in a row. First I tried their cheeseburger then the following trip I ordered the steak fingers. Gravy is like DQ gravy. It's good but not a lot of flavor. I ordered the small burger. Regular fries are good. I did not like their sweet potato fries. Some of them had a weird after taste. Maybe a bad batch? Prices are good and there is plenty of parking. This is the best burger spot so far I've tried in Jasper. read more

Since moving here we get our In-n-Out cravings and this place is the best place to get burgers! Hands down! The meat is fresh and seasoned right with that real grilled taste. The Holy Avocado burger with sweet potato fries are another one of our favorites. I love the fried zucchini and ranch. We wish it wasn't as pricey but the quality of the burgers is worth it. We spend an easy $25-30 for just us two on burgers, fries and drinks. The place is like "a hole in the wall" but service is friendly and even if it looks sketchy from the outside its worth coming in to eat. We end coming here at least once a week and we like it better than the location up at the lake. That one is much nicer but not as tasty as this original location (we think it's because of the grill lol) Be the judge and try both places out. I think you'll love their burgers. read more

Small shack from the outside and looked sketchy, but wait until you eat their burger. I'm from Houston so I would say I'm culinary diverse but not to a Yelp "elite" level. The burger was really satisfying and better than fudruckers on a good day. The patty was served just right with a crispy outer edge. Fries were also solid. First thing is that this place is quite hard to find. The maps app send you to another location but it is close. When we got here this restaurant had no light in the bathroom and no actual attentive service towards the customers, it felt like we where not there for them. The baby seats are greasy like they do not clean them. For the food part, it is awesome. Great, lovable, tasting food. Best burgers i had in a while. Menu is pretty simple. Not a lot of space, but it does not get packed so that is ok. Place has great food but it needs to work on customer service and overall quality of the place.
