A hidden gem!!!!! I had the chicken BLT sandwich and it was huge and delicious. The meal was $10 and it came with potato salad and chips. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I heard they have delicious açaí bowls. I will try that next. This place is a must try!!! read more

I have been coming here for yeaaaarss and the guy was always so nice. I came in today for a club sandwich which reads on the menu " turkey, bacon, ham" and the lady gave me chicken. I asked if it changed and she said " no its like the pic" but the pic also looks like turkey.. why have it on the menu if it something different? I wouldn't have ordered it because i didn't want chicken. She was so rude and kept saying no. And i said well the guy always made it with turkey and she goes what guy. I have tried their Blue Hawaii smoothie and pineapple agua fresca and they were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming too. I love coming here, usually for a breakfast smoothie after going to the park or gym. Today I got a good mix: Almond milk, oat, banana, peanut butter, mango papaya pineapple mango and cantaloupe. This place has lots of options for smoothies and juices . The service sucked , a lady who was on the phone when we walked in, helped us. She was rude and you can tell she was annoyed with our presence. We ordered one orange cooler smoothie with protein, there was literally no orange in it . It just tasted like strawberry milk. My girlfriend ordered the watermelon cooler and it has no flavor at all. While we were there I saw the same lady treat another customer terribly, she even rolled her eyes at her! That's wild . They offer an array of salad, fresh fruits, sandwiches, smoothies amongst other tasty menu items. Everything is reasonable priced. Customer service great. The gentlemen was very patience and knowledgeable as it relates to me ordering plus the menu. Extremely clean inside. Tables were wiped down. No visible trash. Delicious torta and smoothie. I ordered ham added turkey torta plus a large tropical island smoothie. Both were delicious. The torta was a nice size... I ordered the half portion. The bread very soft and fluffy. The store is intimate and has two indoor tables for patrons to enjoy their beverages or snacks. After looking at the hand-written menu above the cashier my mom and I decided on the following. Mango Manila: Mango, Pineapple Juice Mucho Berry: Frozen Yogurt, Banana, Orange, Berry Mix Drinks came in four sizes: Small $4.95, Medium $5.50, Large $5.95, SX $7.95 and we decided to go with the Large - go big or go home? right? Wow the Mango Manila was extremely rich and creamy. The mango tasted ripe and was a winner by my book. Went to Papaya's today and as I was trying to pay for my stuff using a card, this guy pressed the 20% tip button as he turned the credit card terminal towards me. Then he quickly walked away to tell me that he's going to make it right away. I pressed the back button to get back on the tip screen and made that tip zero! Don't try to be slick and steal from your customers. The reason why I'm saying this is because I noticed when I came to the Shop, the woman was less engaging when I wore my sparkly vest...And, the time I came in- woman was happier when I came to the shop all sloppy and on an off day ,I was having. And, she was more pleasant and offered better customer service....which, was nice. But, it was weird coz I felt she was happy I looked more sloppier. Stopped by into this hole in the wall juice bar after eating at TJ Oyster Bar next door and it was the best decision. I got the strawberry luicado and papaya flavor as well. To top it off, saw how refreshing the fruit salad looked so I ordered myself one too! The fruit salad came with the following fruits: cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon, papaya, strawberry, banana, oats, raisins, and cottage cheese. Honey is provided as a side if needed. Honey is a must in this case, it sure enhances the flavor! I really enjoyed the drinks as it was light and refreshing. For the drinks, you can decide whether you want it with whole cow milk, 2% or with almond milk. Great varieties and selections to pick from! Papayas Juice Bar is located in a small parking lot off Bonita Rd in between Bonita Dog Grooming and Bonita Barber Shop. It was my first time at the location and ordering anything from there as I was craving a smoothie and a sandwich. The cashier (with glasses) was very polite and welcoming. She suggested some sandwiches and paninis that were very popular. I ended up ordering a Turkey Pesto Panini and a Tropical Island Smoothie to go. I did have to wait a bit for my order since they were somewhat busy. While driving home, the smoothie was very refreshing and almost finished it before getting home. The turkey pesto panini was very delicious, fresh and warm. The cheese was melted in between the sourdough bread with the turkey, tomato, mayo and pesto. A great spot for sandwiches, smoothies, and snacks. The workers are very friendly. I used to get their turkey pesto panini with a smoothie special. Now we get their turkey torta and chicken jalapeno torta. We always ask for extra jalapenos because they go so well with the sandwiches and tortas. The smoothies that we usually get are the Blue Hawaii, Watermelon Cooler, and Tropical Island. I have had their chamango too and you can also get different flavored smoothies chamango style.
