Tender, juicy, melted in my mouth. I had grilled vegetables and baked potato for sides. The vegetables were a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, carrots, and zucchini. They were cooked well and flavored with garlic. The foil packet of potatoes contained three small round potatoes also perfectly cooked through not seasoned at all. The meal came with three small dinner rolls and a few packets of butter. Everything was flavorful and delicious; garlic was quite strong though which I loved but might not be everyone's liking. I also ordered Alfajores from the bakery section for dessert. These are little sandwiches with soft shortbread cookies on the outside and soft dulce de leche and coconut filling between them. To eat (because we knew we would want to take things home as well), we ordered 4 orders of tequeños (4 come in 1 order), 3 cheese empanadas, and 1 cheese cachapa. Everything was absolutely delicious! The tequeños were cheesy and exceeded our expectations! Of course the garlic sauce that came with it was divine. The empanadas were probably the crunchiest we've ever had--so great and flavorful! The cachapa was perfectly balanced with savory cheese, sweet corn cake, and tangy nata sauce. So, did we find the best tequeño in the area? YES!!! We will definitely be returning to try more things!
