    Rice & Beans Combo

I ordered the Veggie taco platter with the beans and rice platter and it was delicious. I got it with a soft taco which I would recommend. The taco is super creamy with refried beans and lots of guac, very basic ingredients. This meal will fill you up and leave you feeling not sluggish after. The taco was just missing some hot sauce, other than that it was pretty good. I was expecting 3 tacos in the platter instead of 2.

    Chicken tostadas

We tried the chicken tostadas, beef tacos, strawberry marg and queso. All were so good! We were also told they have off menu tamales which we'll definitely be coming back for. Do yourself a favor and come check it out! This will definitely be our new fav local spot.

Margarita BangBang Shrimp tacos Queso Service Fun, inviting atmosphere and food and service were awesome. Passing through the area and wanted a local place for dinner...just wish I lived here so I could become a regular. I typically take a picture of my dinner before but didn't this time ...

Went here on a Wednesday bc my friend had a coupon. I got the Tres Amigos Enchiladas ($14) and traded the cheese for another brisket. My friend got three tacos including the skinny shrimp (which had a lettuce wrap instead of tortilla). We shared a pitcher of frozen margs (free with the coupon). Wooo those were strong and good but with only two of us we have about 3/4 to the table next to us haha. My food was VERY good. The chicken enchilada was my favorite and you get complimentary chips and salsa. There's plenty of parking out front as it's in a strip mall. Service was good and they didn't kick us or the other table out even after they closed at 9 lol. Bathroom was clean as was the dining room. I would return if it was in a moRe convenient location for me (I live in the city) but definitely check them out!

So sad. Went back on day where it seemed like the owner was not there and was served absolute trash. The tortillas for the tacos fell apart as you picked them up. The meat was disgusting and my dish was inedible. It went from the place I was hoping to be my local Mexican to a place where I'm totally grossed out by. The only saving grace was the chips on demand and the queso. I hope to go back to see how it is again but definitely will not be dining if the owner is not present.

I went to get a shredded chicken enchiladas and look what these people gave me. I can't even believe they're open.

We don't live in the area, so we've only been once. Yet, it is a yummy spot. My parents took us while we were in town since it is one of their favorite spots, and it did not disappoint.

Suprised by the good reviews. While the ambience and service was not bad the food wasnt the best. Their menu options are very limited. I tried their fish tacos and philly tacos, both which were average to me. Prices are not bad but overall not a place i enjoyed or would visit again.

They bring it out in a really big bowl and it's just a little bit.. the chicken sausage is cut up whole like chopped hotdogs. It really looks lazy and unappealing. The flavor wasn't bad, not great, but not nasty. Nothing special at all. Now for the restaurant itself (decor), I liked it. I think it's a great setting for lunch indoors or outdoors. I'd try them again for dinner to see if it's better, but going back for brunch, not likely.

I'll preface this by saying we are regular diners and frequently order to-go from here too, so this isn't a problem with the food quality - which is always good. Arriving at 10:45AM, I'd expected to be on the early side of the brunch rush, and the restaurant remained pretty quiet for the first 30 minutes. It was very cold, and we asked for this to be addressed. We appeared to have a dedicated server who welcomed us warmly, fixed drink orders and offered recommendations. However, he had another (new?) server shadowing him after that, and a few things were missed by her (no straws, milk for coffee served in a bowl instead of a jug, water without lemon served with lemon pips in it, and a forgotten request for a taste of the sausage gravy). Then things took a bigger turn after we placed our entree orders. We asked for jelly or jam for biscuits and were told there wasn't any. We asked for honey and syrup for the French toast, and it took a long time to arrive (so those entrees were cold by the time the diners got to eat them). One order came with the wrong side, and one diner had to ask for fresh biscuits because those on the plates were already cold. No one ever came to bring one missing drink, or to take further/refill orders from any of the group. The chilly temperature of the dining room stayed frigid throughout. We did appreciate the professionalism of our primary server, and the sweet gestures to the Moms in the group (it was Mothers' Day). However, the communication between servers, and with management, and between front of house and kitchen, were all completely off that day. It was especially disappointing based on previous positive experiences. Despite flagging the issues to the manager on duty, we left feeling rushed, disappointed and with the impression that they didn't really care. There were huge groups of people waiting to be seated by the time we left, so hopefully the team was just warming up when we got there and I hope the experience improved for others throughout the service period. I'm not looking forward to going back, however - it felt like we were being used for staff training on one of the business Sunday brunch services of the year, and not at all like the usual dinner experience.

The inside is on the smaller side but in a cozy sense. Immediately upon entering we were greeted and welcomed. The staff were very friendly and inviting. They recommended items and explained them to us. Parking was easy at the time we went but can get tricky as the day goes on. We were there in the early am so it wasn't packed thankfully. When they delivered the food I was a tad shocked by the presentation. My potatoes, eggs and bacon came delivered on a metal pizza pan with parchment paper. Now it threw me off because I've never seen that and I expected it on a plate. The potatoes had been soaking in grease that didn't appear clean as the potatoes were tiny cut and dark. They also simply tasted of grease. The eggs were scrambled with not much to be desired and the bacon was good. The meal left me underwhelmed and needing to go get an actual meal after we left. Also the utensils were plastic. The experience gave more of food truck vibes than cute little cafe. I had a smoothie which I enjoyed. Although I don't after that I would come back if I did it would only be for a beverage. I was confused because I remember seeing the menu and it mentioned scrum-did-dly-ump-tious so I thought it would be a more southern well seasoned country style and it was more bland fast food style.

It was a pleasure to have as our server. As a Vegan diner, I found the menu options to be very limited, yet the experience more than made up for it. A special thank you to the General Manager for personally offering to have the Sweet Corn & Tomato Risotto prepared Vegan for me. It was thoughtfully customized without the stracciatella or pesto oil & it was delicious. That level of hospitality & willingness to accommodate dietary preferences made a lasting impression. Cooper's Hawk offers a welcoming upscale-casual dining experience with excellent handcrafted wines, a dedicated tasting bar, a full-service bar, and a beautiful dining area that's perfect for wine enthusiasts. The Wine Club is an excellent value, with monthly wine selections, exclusive tastings, member perks, and rewards. The retail items mirrors a true winery gift shop, as well with the dessert section upon walking in. The layout creates a true wine country experience that's perfect for both wine enthusiasts and first-time visitors. My only suggestion is to expand the Vegan and Vegetarian offerings. Plant-based & non-meat diners appreciate great wine too & more thoughtfully crafted options would make an already great experience even better. Looking forward to returning for the Wine O'Clock - Happy Hour & Brunch & Bubbles. I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol
