The pabellon arepa was really quite tasty. The hot sauce that came with was very mild with no real flavor. The pernil arepa was eh. It was very greasy/wet so the arepa fell apart. Heard a good review about the food here and decided to try. Everything we ordered was great, and it's nice to get a full platter of food at a decent price in Wildwood. The mofongo with fried pork was delicious and had a nice crispy outside. The stewed chicken with rice and beans had great flavors. The empanada would be great to grab for a snack while walking on the boardwalk. We will definitely come back and try one of the daily specials. read more

My girlfriend thought the Empanadas were okay. As someone who grew up with them, she did say that they do appear to be homemade though.

My wife and I were staying in North Wildwood and were hungry for a late lunch. We headed over to the Boardwalk and saw this one little place with a steady stream of customers. We came up closer and saw that it specialized in Hispanic food with Puerto Rican classics being their specialty. We settled for grilled chicken on a bed of salad which was well seasoned and flavorful. Having never tried mofungo and seeing this was their house speciality, the owner gave me a sample. Wow, this is good and will definitely keep any vampires away with the generous amount of garlic. The staff is very friendly and the owner is a great guy who knows how to welcome his customers. I definitely want to come back and get several more items. read more
