After spending a week eating mostly mediocre meals in Cape May, we decided to venture to Wildwood and try some Italian food at Venezia. I'm glad we did. We started with the calamari and a Caesar salad. Both were 5 stars. The calamari was nice and tender and I loved the heavy dose of Parmesan they put on the salad. For mains, we got the gnocchi, fettuccine Alfredo and the lobster ravioli special. I'd say the fettuccine was the weak link of the meal. It was ok, but not as flavorful as it could have been. The other two dishes were very good. To finish the meal off, we shared a cannoli and a limoncello bomba. The cannoli may be the best I've ever had. When you're here your family. Oh wait... But really ...it did seem like the surrounding tables knew each other. This was unique in its own right. Authentic staff as they were actually from Italy. The food looks great. I chatted with some guests as they left. Said she loved the lobster special and here all the time. This is an incredibly romantic restaurant in Wildwood NJ. The staff are very pleasant and the waitress looked the part wearing a Italian looking scarf, so cute. But the best thing is they are open year round and have some nice little tables right outside the window if it's not too cold. I ordered the Greek salad. This is the best Italian Restaurant I've ever visited! The food came so quickly because of how hardworking the staff is. The food had great quality and fitted perfectly with the amazing scenery in the restaurant! There's beautiful paintings and decor paired with amazing music that isn't too overpowering. The food, ahh yes the food, was impeccable, I got the fettuccini Alfredo and it tasted great. With my food I also got an amazing Tiramisu, the staff, as they knew it was my birthday, put a candle on and celebrated it with me! We ordered eggplant rollatini, calamari, and caeser salad. All was excellent except the rollatini - the menu said cinnamon was added to it, but it was way too much cinnamon. Definitely would not recommend. The calamari was crisp and the Caesar salad was perfect. For entree, we had a mix of chicken, pasta, and fish dishes. Everyone licked their plates clean. One of the best in Wildwood. I had a great family meal here on a recent trip to Wildwood. Our waitress and hostess were very friendly and it helped make for a nice dinner. There is Italian music playing in the background but it wasn't very loud, which was a nice addition to the atmosphere. The meal was excellent. We had appetizers, main courses, and desert. 5/5 on the arugula salad and calamari appetizers as well as the crème brulee and chocolate moose cake deserts. The main courses were filling but I thought my veal parmesan could have had better texture. For drinks - keep in mind this is a BYOB restaraunt, so plan accordingly. For non-alcoholic drinks - I think the soda choice could be better. I wanted a ginger ale but the closest they had was lemonade. All in all, I had a great meal here and like I said before, this is one of the best in Wildwood. read more

Well - let me just say, a great meal in great times. We had a party of 11 people, so obviously not easy to manage, but our waitress did a great job. As a BYOB we brought about 10 bottles of wine and I think we opened most of them. I had the veal special which was really outstanding. You know a place is special when not one person of the 11 said their meal was not good. In fact everyone raved about their food. The service was outstanding and consistent with out being overwhelming. I would highly recommend! Bring a nice bottle of wine and you are going to get a great meal to go with it! read more

Going before the summer season, we were able to just walk in and sit. The food and service was so good that we'd wait for seating too! We were met with smiles and seated in an area that our little ones could be themselves. We ordered family style of course! Three pasta dishes and the Osso Buco were more than satisfying. We are so happy to have a new restaurant in our rotation this summer. Venezia's seafood and pasta are so delicious and fresh. We had a reservation and it seemed to be the last vacant table in the place. The dining room was buzzing and filled with happy groups. A few perks of Venezia is that it's a little on the nicer side so there were no fussy children around us distracting us from our meal! There are plenty of other places in WW for a family friendly experience and I like taking a break from that once in a while. Also, it's BYO! Bring your own is always a perk for us since we usually enjoy a bottle or two with dinner down the shore. First and foremost absolutely delicious, the hostesses and waiting staff are super friendly & attentive, always coming back to check on us to make sure we were taken care of. The menu was small in stature but bold, the ingredients, fresh. And the desserts were outstanding I personally recommend the cannoli and the NY cheesecake, dressed elegantly with drizzles of warm fudge chocolate and garnished with fresh strawberry and finally powdered sugar. Very good Italian food. The atmosphere of the restaurant feels very authentic and professional. The wait staff was warm and welcoming and ready to answer any question we had about the menu. It was Memorial Day so me and my father decided to try VENEZIA, a relatively new dining offering in Wildwood and we were pleasantly surprised. Located at 4801 Pacific on the corner, the number is 609-600-3322 and it is a completely renovated interior that is warm, inviting and friendly. Because it was a holiday, they seemed short staffed, but our waiter Milo was excellent and did a great job! I had the Caesar ($12.95) and the Fettuccine Venezia ($34.95). My father had the Arugula Salad ($12.95) and for the main course he had the Shrimp Fettuccine which if I recall was the same price as mine and we were both happy with our selections! He had a one Expresso and I opted for water. During our meal I had Iced Tea and he had Pellegrino. Our waiter also gave us a complimentary drink which was a nice touch to a very good meal. The place seems brand new as I was traveling from California to New Jersey and the overall experience, meal, service and cost was far below the value. It was a great night with my father! The dress code is casual, but would recommend a collared shirt and dress pants. Wildwood has changed greatly from my days coming to the Crest as a kid and the whole area is just bristling in new construction and renovation. If you are vacationing or visiting the Wildwood's this summer, I highly recommend as the menu is great and this is a BYOB venue. When in Wildwood, check out VENEZIA! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Absolutely recommend this restaurant , especially for the service. We were a large walk in and they were over accommodating during our wait, bringing us limoncello and just checking on us to banter a bit. Our waitress was very kind and made our experience very pleasant. Other staff members regularly checked on us as well so we were never left wanting. Our group especially loved their red sauce, but I think everyone enjoyed their meals. Veal servings are a bit smaller than chicken but that was to be expected. Chicken portions were fairly generous, with just the pasta surprisingly a little light. We did not try appetizers or dessert, but they do serve bread and complimentary limoncello at the end. It's a great BYO option, and pricing is comparable to other nice Italian restaurants. There did not seem to be a dress code, and there were a good variety of groups inside. Music was instrumentals of classic Italian songs. I saw multiple people make another reservation on their way out. Overall we're excited to try this restaurant again! read more

Milo, our server, was very efficient and knowledgeable. Since it is an Italian place, I ordered the veal parmigiana. The right amount of perfectly melted cheese and sauce and an ample cut of veal. The pasta under it was good, but nothing to rave about. Two others in our party ordered the lobster ravioli. It was very good with an incredibly rich and tasty cream sauce. This is a small place. Highly recommend making reservations. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly. Lastly, it is BYOB. The staff was very accommodating and chilled our "dessert" bottle while we enjoyed a very good bottom of super Tuscan red with our meal. Great food and service. I definitely recommend it. read more

one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The arugula salad was limp and soggy saturated with oil. The dressing was supposed to be a lemon dressing. unfortunately it had no flavor so I asked for some fresh lemon to squeeze over the salad. The waitress brought me a small heated metal pitcher whIch tasted like possibly butter. The broccoli rabe was chewy and mainly stems leading me to believe it was from a frozen package. The chicken franchise was overcooked, rubbery and flavorless. I ordered linguine with scallops. The scallops were chewy and fishy. I informed the waitress and the manager. The manager took two scallops from my plate and brought them into the kitchen. I never received any feedback and it seemed to have been forgotten about. The other diners were sausage with broccoli rabe and the fish special. Both diners were barely edible. The kicker is we ordered coffee with milk and we were charged an additional $4 for the milk. For our main courses we had the veal Venezia and pasta with mixed seafood. Both were delicious and the pasta for both dishes was cooked perfectly al dente.
