I gave Rosaspina a call and the knew exactly my order, was very pleasant on the phone, and was also eager to celebrate. I was told a photo of the flowers would be sent to me as well. The flowers were delivered an hour or so later. I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, the flowers turned out to be a piece of art. Absolutely stunning! A bright birthday bouquet that was perfect. I loved the detailed email updates, the studio photo of the creation, and the delivery was wonderful. The flowers came in a stylish square vase. The order was place the morning of the service and they had it there on time for a 4:00 start. I told the woman on the phone that the flowers were for a dear tailgate friend and she found a small NYG helmet to include in the arrangement to personalize it. The price was a little steep, but what isn't nowadays. The arrangement was $176 and the helmet was $35. I was okay with the price since this was a day of order placed last minute and included delivery. We were overall very pleased with the arrangement.

However, this morning I woke up to another e-mail from the shop's owner Melissa Singer saying that my order did not meet the minimum delivery requirement of forty dollars, and my order was being cancelled. I did not know about the delivery requirement because it wasn't mentioned anywhere on http://www.victorianseasonsflorist.com/, and I had assumed that since the bouquet was listed on the website it was appropriate to order, so I called the shop right away, hoping to get this mess sorted out. I spoke to Melissa on the phone and expressed to her my dissatisfaction over having my order cancelled on my grandmother's birthday. Melissa was not very helpful. She was defensive, unhelpful, unapologetic, and at times would not let me get a word in edgewise. I really hoped that we could come to a solution that worked for both of us, but she abruptly gave me the name of another florist in the area that would take same-day deliveries. The conversation left me with an extremely sour taste in my mouth, and I informed Melissa that I would be leaving her a negative review on Yelp. Since then I have received an e-mail from her threatening me with legal action for exercising my right to free speech. I have ordered flowers from 1800Flowers that are more beautiful and more expensive than the ones from Victorian's Seasons and I know my grandmother will receive them. She said the guy she uses to hand paint the names onto the wood work was going to be on vacation for 2 weeks but she would have him do it immediately on return and call me when done. 3. Three weeks go by and no phone call. I call the store twice and the owner doesn't return my call. I finally get through to her and she tells me some elaborate story about how her son has moved to Hoboken (close to where I live) and she wants to personally deliver the book rack to me. She was going to call me back in the next few days to confirm the drop of time. 4. Another two weeks pass. I call again but can only speak to the shop assistant this time. I explain that we have an overseas trip planned soon and I'd like to receive the new book rack before we leave. 5. Book rack never arrived. We went overseas for Christmas and upon return I called the owner again. She actually answered the phone this time and told me she is on a call with Germany and would return my call in the next 30 minutes. One hour passes so I call her back. She is very brief with me and says she is still on the phone to Germany. I have since given up trying to get my damaged delivery replaced. Never heard back from the owner and she really couldn't care less.

You can bring back any vase you purhased there for $5 off a new vase. There is also a large assortment of dried flowers in the store and tools like flower snipers, frogs, and wire. I purchased a small sized arrangement which was around $40 and a vase. The flowers lasted about 2 weeks and were really cheerful and uplifting with a good variety in the bouquet.
