Shredded chicken quesadillas

The food is absolutely wonderful! It is flavorful and fresh. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Food was excellent very fresh and well seasoned. We ordered nachos (highly recommend) and the meat platter. Standouts were the shrimp and beef, imo. Dishes are very large and intended for sharing. On the night we went it was quite hot and humid, and there was no air conditioning, which somewhat detracted from our experience. But overall, we enjoyed and will be returning.

this restaurant took over the old James Brown's Place (RIP) so parking is still kinda meh. there's street parking and a lot a few yards away. the place is pretty and pink inside with pictures of drag performers on the wall. plenty of seating for small and larger groups. I dined in once and also did takeout once, both with different people. I'm vegetarian so I always have the veggie options while my friends had meat. we all LOVED our burritos. I just moved back from living in San Diego for four years and good burritos are VERY hard to find here. this place is IT! I got the veggie california burrito smothered in queso both times. "california" style means with potatoes inside - YUM! the queso is delicious and the guacamole was super flavorful. the burritos are HUGE and, for my belly, I can only eat half at a time. prices are a bit steep and they forgot the add-on guacamole for my to go order, which we paid extra for. only negatives! also this place is veeeery LGBTQIA+ forward which I LOOOOOOVE. overall, delicious food and decent dine-in experience with friendly staff! highly recommended checking this place out.

The Shrimp Baha Taco. I took this home for my husband. He enjoyed it.

A good friend suggested this wonderful Mexican restaurant on Culver Road in Rochester, NY. It is on the site of the former James Brown Place and they have done some amazing renovations! You walk into an open floor plan that is artist inspired and colorful. You are seated at tables that are spaced perfectly apart. Our server Toni, was a delight, so friendly and knew Papito's menu well. We ordered freshly made tortilla chips and green salsa. The chips were not too thick and had a nice crunch. The green salsa was nice with just a little kick. I had the Street Taco with Chicken, onions, cilantro and green salsa. The soft taco shell was lighter than some flour shells but I didn't mind because the Shredded Chicken was moist even before I added the green sauce. The sauce was nice as well, not too spicy at all. It was perfect. My lunch partner had the Beer Battered Fish Sandwich. She said it was nicely cooked and the batter was light and not heavy. Very delicious! I ordered the Baha Shrimp to go. It was well received. They said the grilled shrimp was nicely seasoned. We had water with our meal but it looks like they offer a variety of drinks. I will definitely spread the word about Papito's Burritos!!

We came with with the family this time. My two young ladies lived the decor! The image of the food truck is very unique. The proprietor/chef was very welcoming and the Mom/cashier was great! Service was fast and friendly . The food was delicious and authentic. Hot and cooked to order. We came out of our way to visit and so glad we did!

As a Mexican who was raised with authentic Mexican food and still have family in Mexico. This place is so far the best Mexican food in the Albany to buffalo area. I'm extremely picky of my Mexican food but Dean DeSain does know how to make and Cook Mexican food. The guacamole was nice fresh. Everything was fresh. The meat was flavor so great it was like having my moms, dad, or grandma food. He let me try his spicy sauce which was amazing. Someone put the chef was not Mexican they are right but he cooked everything like he was. The meat taco was awesome like having one in the street of Mexico City on the open air market or food stand at night. It was cleaning and love the colors with the decoration. I would highly recommend it and I travel from the Utica/ Syracuse region to try this and I wasn't disappointed. I will be back for more.

We have been waiting for this restaurant to open. The decor is very attractive. Restaurant is clean and plenty of space between each table to social distance. We ordered the street tacos, rice and beans and chips and salsa. The lady did a great job explaining the menu to help us with our selection. The street tacos were tasty but had very little meat. The cilantro and lime rice was very sticky and lacked taste and same for the beans. Very plain and no taste. The chips and salsa were very good. I will try it again with another dish. The prices are very reasonable and the location is right on the corner in the heart of the financial district of Lyons, NY.

This place was recommended by a few customers I've had and some locals so I thought I'd try it today after my son and I left his appointment. We both loved this place! The service is super friendly, the delivery of food came within 5 minutes and was piping hot and fresh. You can tell they make this food fresh and with love:) the ambiance is very artsy and colorful. Many Frida Khalo pics and paintings and dia de Los muertos decor. All in all I would totally recommend this place as my son and I give it a 10 star review. Definitely come here if you want some banging fresh delicious Mexican:)

This is my take on Blvd Grill (a.k.a., "The Boulevard") after having visited just once on Jan 4,…read more2026. My wife and I were looking for some place to go close by on Sunday evening. We thought we'd give Blvd Grill a shot. I would categorize Blvd Grill as a sports bar, as there was a row of TVs above and around the bar showing the games of local interest (Jets and Bills games). My wife and I aren't big sports fans, and we sat at a small casual table along the wall for dinner. The bar area, including high top tables was very busy with people obviously enjoying themselves, but there were plenty of available small dining tables for 2-6 people. TL;DR We were pleasantly surprised. In spite of the casual appearance, the food and drink were excellent. My wife ordered a glass of Riesling, which was semi-dry (I would actually peg right in the middle between dry and sweet) and was very smooth without that slight bite some Rieslings can have. I ordered a Blue Moon on tap. They had a small number of basic and IPA brews available. Not a large, but a reasonable selection. For dinner my wife ordered the Chicken French, which is one of her favorite dishes. She cooks this dish herself frequently, and is quite critical of how this dish is prepared when we go out. In this case, she was very pleased with it. I ordered a pesto cod dish that was on the menu. I found the cod tender and the dish overall very tasty without being overdone in flavor or cooking. As others have mentioned, the food isn't cheap, although on this particular night they were selling wings at $1/ea, but we didn't order wings. The main courses were in the $20-$30 range. Honestly, though, we've eaten at some higher end restaurants recently and Blvd Grill had them beat in terms of food quality in this case. The service was good. Our waitress was a young lady who was courteous and efficient. Maybe the food and service quality vary depending on the day or night, but based on our single experience, we'd definitely visit Blvd Grill again.

We usually start with the garlic bread, which comes warm and paired with marinara sauce--simple, but really well done. I've worked my way through a few of their pasta dishes, but the spicy rigatoni is easily my go-to. It has the right balance of heat and flavor without being overwhelming. The setting is a big plus as well--being right by the bay gives it a nice view and a laid-back feel that makes it great for both casual dinners and slightly nicer nights out. The only real downside I've noticed is that service can be slow at times. That said, it feels more like they're understaffed than an issue with the servers themselves, who have always been polite and attentive once they get to you. Overall, it's a place I keep coming back to for the food and the atmosphere.

The servers are not just taking orders, they actually understand the menu, the ingredients, the pairings. You can ask questions and get real answers. At one point I thought, these aren't bartenders, they're scientists. The level of knowledge and attention to detail is just different. The food completely lived up to that same standard. Every single person at the table was happy with their meal, which honestly says a lot. No one was picking around their plate or wishing they ordered something else. The chef clearly knows what they're doing. Everything was thoughtful, balanced, and just really, really good. Quick note on dessert though. It didn't quite match the level of the rest of the menu. Not bad, just not on the same level. If you're trying to be strategic, you can probably skip it and leave happy. Parking is easy, which I always appreciate. You've got valet or you can self park, so no stress there. If you're in Rochester, you really can't skip Redd Wood. It's one of those places that makes the whole dining experience feel elevated without being over the top. Definitely worth it.

For the price, we were completely underwhelmed For starters, we ordered two different cocktails. The May queen was fabulous the bebbo was tasty, but you couldn't taste any gin in it We started with the Lyonnaise salad , smoked beets, Swedish meatballs, tuna tartare and chicken wings The salad was our favorite, the tuna lacked flavor and we detected no smokiness in the beets. The meatballs were light and the sauce flavorful, would've loved a few more June berries. Chicken wings were nicely spiced and no too saucy For the main we shared 2 steak frites- a bit more well done than the medium rare ordered but tender and tasty, fries are great- bordelaise sauce didn't have the depth of flavor I expected. For dessert we shared the lemon poppyseed cake and chocolate mouse. The cake was light and Lemony with a hint of poppyseed flavor. The mousse was very odd- super pale in color and the crunchy bits on top did not pair well with the texture of the mousse Service was attentive, sometimes a bit too much- reaching across the table to fill waters... maybe leave a bottle on the table? It was a completely male staff... Male servers, male, valets, male bartenders. We did wonder where the women were.

Our Server, Jim informed us of the specials of the day which ranged from a few different appetizers to several meat/seafood entrees. We opted in for the crab cake and the special salad w. fruit. The crab cake was packed with lump crab meat which contained little to no fillers. It was accompanied with two different sauces, both working beautifully with the crab cake. A stunning appetizer. As for the salad, it contained apples, pear, strawberries, walnuts, feta and an apple cider vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious and blew my mind how a salad can be so flavorful and beautifully presented. For mains, the girlfriend opted in for my personal favorite, the Agnello Scottadita (rack of lamb). This was cooked to a perfect requested medium-rare. Flavorful but didn't overpower the natural taste of the lamb, and incredible tender. As for myself, I opted in for one of the seafood specials, the swordfish. This was grilled perfectly, retained its moisture making it also incredibly tender and was finished with a butter scallion sauce. Both entrees were excellent. We both finished off with a ricotta & pistachio cake, which had pistachio cream separated by sponge cake and their coppa 3 chocolates which are layers of dark, milk and white chocolate cream. The cake was very light and airy, no overly sweet and was a delight. The coppa 3 chocolates was more dense, again not overly sweet and a great way to end our meal. Ristorante Lucano for many years has given me the best meals alongside with a beautiful and cozy atmosphere with the utmost hospitality. A 10/10
