We were driving through the area when we decided to have something to eat. While looking on Yelp, we came across this restaurant. We had stopped in at around 3:00 p.m., So it was very quiet. The place was clean for this time of day, though I'm not sure how it would be during a busy day and time. The staff was very attentive, and We were seated quickly with an offering of complimentary chips and salsa. Menus were given to us, though. I wish we had seen the specials menu before we ordered. I ordered a fajita from the regular menu, As we didn't realize there was a special menu on the table until we were giving our menus away. My food was flavorful, and everyone at the table liked their food too. It wasn't some of the best I've had in the area, but it was still pretty good.

We ordered take out from here and everything was amazing. Quick service, staff inside was great and explained menu when we had questions. The side of rice was honestly the best rice I've had at a Mexican restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous and so colorful! Great place to go out for drinks and food when craving Mexican food (because who doesn't crave Mexican food). Lots of parking (there's a lot), handicap accessible, and great for big groups too! Will definitely have to come back and dine in one day!

    Getting ready for us!

We LOVE Monte Alban! We love the atmosphere! We love the food and we ALWAYS have amazing service! The people are friendly and always aim to please! We bring a large group(over 20) of friends there for dinner every Christmas and they always manage our group like pros! Our food is delicious as are the drinks!

I'm so indifferent about this place ! Even our friends whom we were with who love this place were disappointed this time around ...and they come here all the time ! We waited awhile for drinks which was okay at first. But then when we got them, our house margaritas were salt-less and didn't taste very alcoholic to us. We also ended up waiting awhile for food which was slightly annoying. But they kept the chips and salsa coming while we waited which we appreciated. I ordered the veggie fajitas and my husband ordered the street tacos with chorizo. Our friends also ordered the street tacos but with steak and stated its their favorite here ! We also ordered queso and guacamole as appetizers for the table. The food itself was delicious though despite the rough start.

We enjoyed lunch on Monte Alban's beautiful patio. Chips, Salsa, and Queso Blanco (not pictured) were delicious and plentiful. Salsa had a really great flavor. For entrees, we had Chicken Chilaquiles which were super tasty, a tostada, and black bean soup. The black bean soup was lackluster. It was a little bland and not at all similar to what you would get at other Mexican restaurants. We've eaten many other entrees in other visits that are equally good to the Chilaquiles, such as their Fiesta Salad, Enchiladas, Chicken Soup, and "Pancho's Special". For today's visit, service was fantastic. We never wanted for anything. In all, this is a good Mexican spot that you and your family will enjoy. We've eaten at their Webster location and wish that the nice patio here was also there.

Great place for big groups. Came here on a Friday evening and was able to snag a table after a bit of a wait. Plenty of chips and salsa for the table. Salsa was especially tasty (though it really reminds me of a marina sauce strangely). We tried a bunch of different items, from fajitas, to tacos, to enchiladas, and more. Everything was decent and portions were big. They also have really fun drinks that everyone enjoyed with many customizations (for example, margaritas with many flavors, etc.). No huge standouts, but again, great for big groups and they are very accomodating.

The most bland food I've had. The service is terrible as well. The prices definitely do not reflect the quality which is lacking.

On Wednesday, April 22 I was in Henrietta for an appt and decided to place an order at Chuy's to pick up on my way home. I paid and received my email confirmation. My mouth was already watering... I arrived to the restaurant early, hoping it would be ready. They were closed. A sign hung on their door stating they were "Closed Wednesdays and Sundays until further notice". Nothing on their site indicated this and my order went through with no issue. I was a bit upset. Not only for the inconvenience but also because I was hungry and wanted my burrito! So the next day, I had to be back in Henrietta anyway so I stopped in and asked about the order. They immediately apologized profusely - apparently there was a glitch that allowed several orders to go through. They assured me that I would be refunded. I asked if it would be possible to just give me my order instead of a refund (I was still dreaming of that burrito). They said of course and even offered me a free drink which was not expected (I was happy to pay but they insisted). The burrito came out in less than five minutes and they said they would still refund me - even though I assured them it was not necessary. I wasn't even mad when I came in; I didn't make any scene or demands. I just wanted to ask about my order assuming it was an accident, and give them a chance to see what they could do. They went above and beyond anything I would have expected. They more than made up for any minor inconvenience it caused. Even if they didn't refund me, I would have still felt the same way in how I was treated. So yes, the food is incredible, but it is matched with a masterclass in customer service which feels increasingly rare these days. I'd post a pic of my burrito but I've been chowing down on it while trying this review and, well, it's gone...

I was craving the shrimp tacos; however, since they only came with flour tortillas and I preferred corn, I decided on the Mexican bowl with shrimp instead. I also ordered a pineapple Jarritos. The wait was short, and when my order was ready, it arrived hot and fresh. My only gripe was that I wished there was more shrimp in the bowl, but overall, I liked it.

We started with the chips and salsa, which were fresh and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The birria fries were easily a favorite--loaded with tender, flavorful birria, melted cheese, and all the right toppings. They were indulgent and definitely worth ordering. The shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful, while the al pastor tacos were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that classic sweet and savory flavor that makes al pastor so good. We also ordered the elote, which was creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Between the generous portions, authentic flavors, and great service, Neno's is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
