Fantastic, interesting, variety of delicious, flavored home-hand made pastas. Their pastas are not retailed in grocery stores.

It wasn't warm, but it was soft. It was served with an olive oil. Our table ordered the steak, four cheese ravioli, Caesar salad and pasta with butter for the kids. Everything was extremely well! We liked the pasta with butter the best and that was for the kids! Lol. The wine is charged by the ounce. It's almost like a tasting of wines where you can pour it yourself. It was great to allow a chance to try a variety of wines. We stopped in our way to the beach and would like to make it a staple! The steak is not served every night. It is a Thursday-Sunday serving, so it's best to check the special mains as it's not a staple item on the menu.

The cafeteria style wine dispensers could have benefitted from somalier staff to explain what the various labels were and what the wines were about, as well as to recommend pairings. I don't like to be on my phone at a restaurant researching wines, trying to decide which values to explore when I'm unfamiliar with all of them. I think my server was too young to know that much about wines beyond the crib notes. I had the tonno crudo which was a lovely dish, but the olive oil had a bitter metallic taste to it, and since raw tuna and the olive oil were the only two flavors of the dish, the olive oil spoiled the flavor a little bit. I highly recommend McElvoy's superb buttery oil from CA. When you have very few ingredients or processes, as is the case in Italian cooking, each of the ingredients has to be over the top. Perfect . I also had the Pasta Medici with lobster and spinach wrapped up shushi-style in two small sheets of house-made pasta and served upended in a small box. The lobster was good, but the creamed spinach did not taste like Florence's best, and I could taste flour and butter in the undercooked pasta. For a signature dish, I would have expected five star efforts, but on this dish only the lobster was really edible. I really want this place to be a success, and I want to have a great experience there. It feels like a good, well-intentioned crew is still getting its act together and working out the kinks. For a very high-quality food experience the servers also need to be sophisticated to help Interpret the dishes and wine for the diners. Keep trying, Wardroom! You've got a very promising vision. If you could re-introduce humans back into the mix, italian-style, you might have a winner!

Excellent food, both in taste and visual presentation (bravo chef, and thank you for the meet & greet). Excellent service, thank you Shawna for being so kind, explaining the menu, and making us feel warm and special. Bread/water guy (sorry didn't catch your name) was also always on it refilling water, and offering bread without being asked. Alex, also gets a shout out for the service and attention! All the variety of breads and butter (esp the ramp/onion butter) were delicious, chicken/truffle tortellini app, crab salad, lamb entree, dover sole entree, pear/yuzu dessert, strawberry cake were my favorites. Thank you also for the birthday treat :) we will be back again!

Hard to find an elegant restaurant like this anymore where the food and ambiance are superb. Being a bit "old-school" about fancy restaurants, I like getting dressed up and going to a place that feels special. This is the place. Not only is the food delicious, but expertly presented. An amazing bread basket that I had to refrain from eating too much as I knew my dinner would be rich and filling. Also, the cocktails are superb. Even though many restaurants now serve specialty cocktails, they don't always live up to expectations. Here at Bas Rouge they are mixed beautifully. One should be aware that, although I believe you can order al a carte, it's mainly a three/four or seven course menu. NOTE: I was extremely dismayed to see that they had foie gras on the menu. Especially seeing that this restaurant is named after I believe the owner's breed of dog that he loves, I believe foie gras, as many people do, is animal cruelty to produce. They also serve veal that again, is usually from animals confined to crates that stunt their growth. Sorry for the bummer ending, just stating what I believe is factual.

Ten months ago as we were looking at catering options, we had some definite ideas on what we wanted and didn't want. My daughter mentioned Olive Garden (because really, WHO doesn't love Olive Garden?). We reached out to the Olive Garden in Easton, MD and immediately came in contact with Carl. He was kind, professional, and extremely helpful. He answered every question we had and met with us twice at the venue to go over things. We felt very comfortable in our choice. The wedding day: Carl and his team were there bright and early at the venue to start setting up. Members of his team were also helpful to me with setting up things. From the moment they arrived, until the moment they left, the took EXCELLENT care of us and all our guests. Everyone loved the food and the staff was so personable, people couldn't stop raving. They helped with set up and take down of everything. Everything flowed so smoothly. Carl and his team exceeded all our expectations for our daughter's wedding. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. We HIGHLY recommend Olive Garden of Easton, MD. 10/10

My friend ordered the lasagna and salad, which they'd had before and enjoyed. I was torn between the shrimp scampi and the 7 Fishes, which both sounded wonderful. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which came with asparagus "tips" and "fresh" tomatoes. The server asked if I would prefer angel hair to the spaghetti it comes with. I thought angel hair was a given for scampi, but I said yes, angel hair please. When the server brought our food and put my plate down in front of me, I can only describe the feeling as disappointment. It was a pile of mush with a few shrimp on top. It was spaghetti, not angel hair, and it had been cooked to death and was water logged. Same with asparagus and tomatoes, which were also cooked to death to the point where they were unrecognizable and tasteless. There was not one asparagus tip; rather, it was tiny chopped bits of mushy stalk. I couldn't tell if the red mush was tomato or red pepper. The shrimp were seasoned well and tasted good, but they were also a bit overcooked. Everything else was tasteless. Once the server brought our food, she didn't come back until we were done. She then noticed all my spaghetti noodles and asked why I didn't say something about it not being angel hair. I was like, because you didn't come back! I ate the shrimp out of it and took the pasta home with me. I put it in a skillet on the stove top and added herbs and spices and was able to evaporate some of the water out of the noodles. What I made out of it was fantastic. I would go again if someone else wanted to go there, but I think the key is to order something that's hard to screw up, like pizza, lasagna, etc. I make better food at home.
